>Character gets possessed/mind controlled
>The possessing entity/character imitates them very poorly
>Everyone buys it without batting an eye
Tropes You Love

that trope fucking sucks
>hero and villain team up to fight even bigger, badder villain
>visit multiple realities
> in every one their life goes to shit
I don't see a problem here. It's always more probable that you have a bad day than you're being mind controlled.
Not when you live in a setting where mind control is a thing that happens and HAS happened in the past.
>the vaillain's henchman act like they hate them but actually are in love with them
>Character says "You'll never guess X" or "Nobody will see X coming" or something of the sort
>Character is instructed to open a sealed message introduced earlier
>Perfectly describes X
Even better:
>Everyone likes the possessed/bodyswapped character's new personality more than the original
My man
>Characters are fighting and they tumble into an elevator
>The two waiting patiently inside as elevator music plays in the background
>Immediately start fighting again when they get to a new level
>badass bad guy has a redemption arc but still continues to be a bad ass even when good.
>the bad guy actually respects his henchmen and is convinced that they are the good guy
>character has the typical "angel and demon on shoulder" gimmick, but talking to them is seen as talking to themself by others
This movie had some great gags.
that movie has aged like a fine wine, the series and sequel also have their moments.
speaking of shoulder angel tropes
>both of the angels are demons or the angel is just as bad as the demon, if not worse.
I like the reverse.
>it's a prison escape episode
>Characters are digging a tunnel to escape
>Gag montage of them digging up to find themselves in various unexpected places
>they parody that one scene from Shawshank Redemption
>one of those places is china
>Camera starts upside down and then turns rightside up
I'm surprised nobody ever made it Australia considering all the jokes people make.
Awfull
>Plain young girl says goodbye to boy
>He just felt friendship towards her
>Years later he comes back
>She turned into the hottest thing on the planet
>Pour some sugar on me or some variation plays as she walks towards him
>He doesn't know it's her until she talks
>villain has fun being a villain
>villain doesn't have a self righteous or whiny/revenge based reason to be a villain, he just enjoys power, riches and bitches
>villains have good relationships with each other, care for their underlings and/or partners
Where my villainbros at?
Fucking kek
That's an absolutely terrible trope
Well, China is more foreign, so it would make the hyperbole more funny, and China is on the opposite side of the Earth from America, so it makes sense in the cartoon logic.
>scooby doo door gag
Possibly my favourite version of this
Lee/Kirby pantsed that meme back in 1966 in "This Man This Monster" why is it even still a thing
Whats the oppisite for australia?
Holy shit, while researching your question, I found out that the antipodes for all of mainland Australia are fully in the Atlantic ocean!
Neat!
This is the website I used:
findlatitudeandlongitude.com
There's the Azores there, I guess.
The pacific Ocean is like, half the planet, so there's very little land-antipodes. The biggest exception would've been Australia, but it lands right in the North Atlantic.
Cool, I don't know it was called an antipode
We're learning!
Also the same thing with America and the Indian Ocean, although there are these two antipodes in Canada.
looks like you can get to New Zealand from spain (Also a small area in portugal)
Yeah whoop de doo the whole "make an earth sandwich without getting the bread wet" thing trended like three years ago and we all know that almost every places opposite is an ocean.
I'll get the shovels.
I'm sorry user, I don't keep track of, participate in, or note silly internet fads, so I have no clue which delicatessen you refer to.
I’m pretty sure it’s still more probable to have an off day on those universes user
Ah, so Atlantis is, then.
>villain has a sympathetic backstory
>same villain also teams up with heroes to fight a greater evil
>still end up being an unrepentant asshole who screws over the heroes as soon as the threat is finished
>Being a Hero or villain is just a day job
>Both heroes and villains check out with time cards
>Hang up their outfits on hooks
>Go out to get some drinks at a bar
Also
>Halloween Episode
>Main cast is fucking dying off
>Halloween Episode
>Main cast is fucking dying off
Community was a good show.
>"Good" guy is actually a "bad" guy and is a better written villain than the actual villains
>Character leaves the scene
>the sounds of a car leaving away in the background
Bonus points if the car crashes
>trope threads never get made when I actually have tropes to post
right here, sempai
>the villain have a pretty standard life besides being a villain
Ew, go away Sandler
