Well the Kree just made improved Sentry robots of stronger materials specifically to counter this, and oh no, there's so many of them, how will she save the Planet they're trying to conquer. She overcame the Sentries? Look who it is, it's Genis Vell, who got powers similar to hers, and can actually effectively counter her, while claiming to be Mar Vell's true legacy. Actually sell the idea they vaguely gestured at in CM1 that Carol will get back up when she's faced with real adversity, and give her some meatier challenges.
