This thread is devoted to your favorite costumes of characters. It may be their default costume or a costume they only wore once. Love to see the various tastes of Yea Forums
>Spider-Man - Black Suit (cloth) The original cloth suit was given to him by Felicia after he ditched the symbiote. He continued to wear it up to his confrontation with Venom. Prior to being beaten, Venom decided to pay MJ a visit and basically put the fear of god in her. Afterward, MJ asked him to ditch it because of PTSD. I maintain that because of that incident, the suit has become tainted. It represents the worst of Spidey because he arrogance led to the creation of Venom. The suit is a manifestation of Peters psychological state. Pity is gone. Mercy is gone. Viewing you as a person has gone out the window. And he’s quiet. Aside from all that the intricate design of the spider and the simple color scheme really complement one another.
Fleischer Superman is my personal preference if we're going back. The black emblem especially makes it stand out in my eyes. Gotta love his appearance in New Frontier.

You know, I never associated the black suit with being Peter's "I'm fucking pissed" suit, in fact I would argue it's the best Spider-Man costume because it's so simple and very Spider-Man. Also fuck Venom Armpit webs are based.
Never settled on a favorite Bat costume but I feel like dis one has enough of the little touches I like to consider it a contender. >Short Ears >Bat Oval >White Eyes >Oversized Belt >Trunks >Extra Long Cape
> 19B > 16A = 16B > 15 (preferably with black boots) >>> 28 > 19A = 2
I like 9, 10, 11 & 12 a good deal also but I find it hard to rank them with the others.

It was a toss up between this and the White Knight version of Batman's costume, because I like capes on normally capeless heroes and I like the collar on Bats's White Knight look.
I hate the cloth black suit because it doesn't give him unlimited webbing

>PS1 - Spider-Man Black Costume A man of taste I see.
I love that despite it's clear influence from Batman, Catman's costume still feels extremely unique. Love the clear helmet and texture. Also pleasantly surprised by how they pulled off his "logo".
While I don't agree with your opinion I still respect it.
Ms. Marvel's costume throughout Civil War - Secret Invasion was top tier. Shame her movie was hot garbage and Brie Larson is literally an embarrassment to the character of Carol.
Spock's first costume was the fucking shit. It's amazing how a bunch of small touches can make a suit entirely distinct and separate from Peter's. The Red/Black color scheme is just a bonus to an already schway suit
wow. not a single one is better than her 1st. she's a shit character imo but that og costume is fine as hell

Mr. Incredible's past costume is one of Edna's finest creations. I think this movie is one of the reasons I was so receptive to Invincible's Black/Blue costume (which I prefer to his original one).
I know nostalgia is affecting my score, but I love 5.
I know some may consider it edgy, but I love Red Hood's first costume. It has some Punisher vibes but doesn't quite cross over into its territory. The reinforced helmet which is booby trapped and the backup domino mask is just icing on the cake.
It may not be a favorite, but definitely a distinctive take on Spidey that is distinctly Spock. The first costume distinguished him, the second one made it his own.
Would it be okay if I maybe posted some anime cape costumes? It's still superhero related, just manga not standard big two.
While not my favorite Cap design overall, the costume is absolutely perfect for a revitalized Cap ready to reclaim the mantle while secretly working for Hydra. The modified shield is just one of the many things that separate this costume from others. I consider this costume a grower that needs time to acclimate to.
This suit screams 90s. It's both one of its greatest strengths and weakness.
I'm not normally one for modern Iron Man suits, but the entire idea behind Superior Iron Man was absolutely thematically appropriate. It's perfect for this rendition of Tony and I don't think that often.
I don't think that's a bad thing, it's sort of a really good costume because it fits that well. That costume is really good but like the Superman Beyond outfit, it can't be used for an everyday Superman, it needs to be a Next Level Superman. Be that an evil version or an elder version but I think Superman's costume has a certain chummy friendliness to it that these costumes intentionally lack.
Last one before bed. Nightwing's DCAU costume was the epitome of simplicity and practicality. The fact that it has completely black pockets that blend with the suit allow it to remain seamless in action yet practical with regard to holding grappling hooks, smoke bombs, batarangs, etc.
I like the spectacular version. It's pretty similar to Raimi's. Yeah it's just the original suit only black but thats why I like it. You can still see the web patter on the head, hands, and feet but the blue part is solid black. I think it's an improvement
