AT at its peak definitely deserved a movie or a fully fleshed out video game. It would have fit perfectly as a movie. And an fully fleshed out RPG where you actually got to explore Ooo would have been amazing.
Unfortunately for the video game aspect this was right when mobile games were exploding and we only got a couple of mediocre "real" games. Hey Ice King was decent, but Explore the Dungeon kind of sucked.

yeah, I just can't believe that this is it. Many people have said that the worst thing media can do is bore you, I'd agree with that but I'd say being disapointing/not living up to expectations is up there.

Well, that's a bit complicated, but I'll try.
I grew up with the show and it was always one of my favorite cartoons. I dropped the show after Breezy for obvious reasons. When the finale happened I was really confused so I went back and rewatched the show, I'm happy I did. But I couldn't help but feel like something was missing. I've re watched the show pretty much every 2 months since the finale. I think it's me subconsciously not wanting to grow up seeing as I 'm going to college soon. It might be a nostalgia bias but either way I still really enjoyed the show, it was about growing up and seing as I was consistenly the same age as finn, and ran into a lot of the same problems he did I really related to the show.

It's a decent RPG, but CN forced the devs (same team behind Silent Hill Origins and Shattered Memories) to rush development. It came out in an unstable state. At least it's playable nowadays.
