Original Fallen Angels had brand new characters and made use of Vanisher, who was in the limbo. The new one has nothing to do with Fallen Angels and could have been very well called X-tremists, or X-whatever. From X-Force only Black Tom makes sense to be a member, everything else feel like some weird random assembly of characters, who also appear elsewhere in other books.
