Does CN not care?

None of us care. Infinity Train is shit.

It hasn't even premiered yet

Please don't make the red head obnoxious. I liked her introverted and preserved like in the pilot.

Holy shit, talk about dumping ground. Despite Owen being kind of a douche, I'm starting to feel bad for these creators. Between Amphibia, Billy Dilley, this, Mao Mao, and Apple & Onion, these networks are just dumping their shows with no fanfare at all. It seems fucking sad to work for years in anticipation that people will finally see your shit only to have a network act like they want to get it over with as fast as possible.

Attached: 1560988516884.png (2287x2838, 3.09M)

I'm from the future. It's shit and ends in 15 episodes.

Link?

i'd believe it

I’m from the future. It’s better than frog show and owl show

Is this a miniseries or regular?

I bet my liver that Infinity Train won't be as quality or better than Amphibia

Haven't we had enough "quirky young nerd girl goes to magic dimension" shit already?

Wanna know how I can tell you’re a white male in your mid 20s?

34.
Looks like you're as useless as guessing as you are everything else.
Kill yourself, thanks.

It's actually the norm to put shows on the app now. Even TTGo goes through it. Cable is dead.

CN will stream the episode on Youtube tonight

Do you know what time user?

When?

4:45PST/7:45EST

youtube.com/watch?v=0jWjwQWhn-I
There's a countdown timer for simple timekeeping. Currently counting down from 2:34:59.

Good to know, everyone's pumped up for a premiere here.

I'm gonna wait for a MEGA link when it comes.

An image appeared with 2:15:00 left in the countdown. Perhaps this is Tulip when she was younger?

Attached: snip.png (1271x674, 593K)

I got really disappointed by her redesign, I was irrationally attached to her ridiculous glasses and the fact that they aren't even round (And thus don't look like infinity sign) triggers me and makes me feel like they don't care.

I'll give it a try, coming off Amphibia train, but I'm not hyped.

It's a picture of a red head in Tulip's room. Who else would it be?

Just remember, you're here forever.

I've heard rumors some people managed to escape. I don't personally believe it though.

>I like my female MCs introverted, otherwise I’ll find them OBNOXIOUS!!
Lol, the patriarchy is real

One hour to go.

Stream has finally broken 1,000 concurrent viewers.

I've heard this is only going to be a miniseries is this true

Why are people like Dennis allowed to live, when a bunch of talented Japs aren't alive right now? Wheres the justice in that?

I dunno if the show will be good, but I really really like this promotional effort. Props to CN and the show crew.

No one knows.

Japs work on material that people enjoy so heavily to the point that they're willing to fire bomb a studio for "not being faithful".

American shit is so forgettable, we're the only people who acknowledge these creators even exist.

>allowed to live
you are more than welcome to try and replicate the horror committed just a few days ago. Lock up the fire exits and pour gasoline all around a building.

Please. I'd rather not start another farcical "east vs west" nonsense in light of the recent news.

>Ashley Johnson
>voice of Gretchen (Recess), Terra(Teen Titans tv), Gwen (Ben 10), Ellie (The Last of Us)

neat, I was wondering why her voice was so familiar, but I didn't realize I could connect her to so many other shows and characters I like.

The stream is starting now.

That was amazing

That episode left me pleasantly surprised.

Well, that was interesting.
Nice of them to set up that it's not crazy-go-nuts out of the box, at least.

And it's over.

MORE MORE TULPI

Attached: yuuka - copia.jpg (1280x720, 87K)

It's better than I expected. Can't wait for more.

The stream just self-destructed.

Abrupt ending. Also lmfao, why wasn't the immediate solution to not having a ride was calling a cabbie or purchasing a bus/train ticket?

I was right in the middle of it too.

i've been long craving for quality to pop up on cn after regular show ended, now my fix is here

Looks fine to me. Maybe you need to stop living in Not America.

ok

Becuase looks so boooooooooooooring

Pretty on the nose with the divorce shit, though I'd be pretty fucking pissed too if I couldn't go to camp because my parents fucked up something so simple with "we can't drive you we're busy." Glad the action picked up with that incineration shit and the Dogroaches, though I find it odd they hid them in shadows the whole time. One-one's depressed voice is the saving grace, that's the exact kind of black comedy I enjoy. Also glad Tulip didn't stay peppy about the train for too long. Seems to be going to how she was in the pilot.
I'll keep watching, though my main concern especially if this isn't going to be a miniseries is whether or not more recurring characters will show up. We know about the corgi, but I don't think him, One-One and Tulip will be able to carry the show on their own. I'm interested to see if other human passengers will show up.

it's on cn app

11 minutes has been the norm for quite a while, because "experts" say that's the attention span of the target audience, and as per circular reasoning that audience are kids because only kids watch cartoons

This shit better be at least 50 episodes then like SU's first season.

>because only kids watch cartoons

Attached: DfldwVoVMAABXt1.jpg (750x1009, 62K)

Amphibia shitposters are flooding the board
They are essentially Star Vs fags

What's with the constant use of the word miracle?
Cartoons are just another form of entertaining, not God's gift to the world.
Makes him look like a demented fanatic.

I really liked that block room. I hope every episode has a new concept to play with.

the actual content of the episode isn't bad; it has a lot of interesting concepts thrown at you, and tulip and the robot are pretty likable so far. the animation and backgrounds are pretty great but the whole thing is just... fast. way, way too fast. it hops from one scene to the next and a never takes a moment to breathe before it just abruptly ends. it's the same issue su has. these story driven shows really need at least a 22 minute runtime.

the first episode should at least be a 22 minute episode

I really wish Star vs fans hadn’t latched onto Amphibia so strongly. Star vs was shit and only worsened as it went on, whereas Amphibia has been solid throughout its entire inaugural season. S2 can only be better.

for sure
im sill excited for the porn tho

Don't worry every show gets fucked in the long run. Avatar, Adventure Time, Spongebob, Simpsons, Question is how much will it take.

i'll just tweet him a postcard of kyoani's building saying on fire and write
>wish you were here

Personally I'm all in with a rushed first episode if it means getting the basic premise out of the way. The slow dripping with the lore in cartoons that have it gets boring a little too fast for me, specially if that's pretty much all that it has going for it. Still, we're not going to know for sure if pacing is going to be an issue until the five day event is over at its earliest.

Seriously, this.

I hangout with my cousin and her kids some weekends after their father passed away a year ago. The youngest (7, boy) has an iPad and lives off of the CN app. He hates Nick and Disney is okay depending on the show. The oldest (13, girl) likes Disney live action but not the cartoons. The family uses YouTube TV and a bunch of streaming services rather than pay the ass raping cable fee through Comcast.

>Enjoyed Star during seasons one and two.
>Dropped during season three's drama BS
>Binged all of three right before four
>Four was meh with a few high points
The show should have ended with the "movie" where Star destroys Toffee. I just don't see Amphibia as a shipping show. Unless the show changes a lot. It'll be what Star was when it was good. Adventures with subtle lore.

I’m finally reunited with my lad OneOne
>this train has some things that are nice, and some things that could be better!

>I just don't see Amphibia as a shipping show.
you will when suddenly 3 boys arrive in amphibia which also found a weird frog box

The music is godlike. I didn't have expectatives too high and was pleasantly surprised. Worst part was the Benny Hill humming at what would have been a perfect scene otherwise. More when?

What? Is this true?

lol

so who noticed this

Attached: Untitled.png (1920x1114, 1.62M)

I thought it was going to be the Adventure Time episode ripoff, but I got strong Cube film vibes. There was a lot of dark stuff in the episode, from the divorce stuff to the barren landscape and the shadowy horrors.
I'm pleasantly surprised that it's distinct that way from other similar fantasy cartoon series (like Amphibia).

>Worst part was the Benny Hill humming at what would have been a perfect scene otherwise
This. The joke itself was chuckleworthy, but I feel they could’ve saved it for a later episode in a less serious chase scene of lower stakes.

The context in which it was used gave me Final Space flashbacks

>I won’t accept the possibility of two different people coming up with an ‘Infinity Train,’ even if both ideas were executed in pretty different ways
>One HAD to have copied the other! Everything is a rip-off of EVERYTHING!!
God, you people are insufferable

Yeah, CN just loves the halfassed Netflix binge format of Bombs for some reason.

>Not wanting to encourage arson

Yea Forums really has become spineless if you're all getting sad over a few shitty animators dying.

Fuck off, user. You’re not cool or funny for laughing off the murders of innocent people. I know we joke about whatever on Yea Forums, but there is a limit.

kys

Dude, fuck you.

>these story driven shows really need at least a 22 minute runtime.

I agree that it feels rushed, and could have used some breathing moments. But that's really the only thing wrong with it. I'm still psyched.

Maybe there will be an extended version where nothing else happens. :)

You put words in my mouth and then you're complaining about them.

She's the same, dumbass. You only saw a part of her in the pilot where she had been stuck in the train for a while now. Olive obviously thought the train was cool at first until she discovered she couldn't go home.

No, they definitely gave her some sort of lobotomy after the Pilot because she's now an OMG gamer girl. I just wish they would change her brain back to what it was originally.

>Maybe there will be an extended version where nothing else happens. :)

Except add some detail to the coding sequence to make it remotely believable.

Ah, your the type of person who thinks they can tell everything about a character from the first ep and then gets angry when more is revealed and say "they changed it!"

Or maybe the writers did some surge on Tulip's brain and now she's a completely different person. Honestly, lobotomizing perfect characters after the pilot seems unethical to me.

Why do I feel like Tulip got transported to the future?

Ok user, your Tulip will be preserved with the pilot, don't be sad.

That was shit.

I liked it, Tulip seems very likeable, the robot is cute, and fucking a guy got disintegrated and eaten by a omnious spire of light in the middle

this is gonna be gr8.

So far it looks too fantastic for my taste, I'm not expecting some kind of OTGW 2, but heh, looks nice.

Are there subtitles, fren? I'd like to make some fansubs.

Did anyone else get strong SCP vibes from watching this? The infinity train could be an SCP and I wouldn’t bat an eye. The fact that it lured her onto the train by showing her the destination, the bizarre landscape filled with soul sucking insects, and really just everything. I liked it and can’t wait for more, better than I hoped it would be.

Many more shows made their first appearances here
including Mao Mao and the Fungies

Attached: TIM截图20190721165508.png (1274x716, 541K)

I still think Matt is different. There was an image he asked where to know the comments and criticisms of the show on twitter.

I like that the parents seems to have split somewhat good terms

Matt is really genuine. He's definitely different than the others.

I got time travel vibes, not SCP. Then again, those cockroach monsters would fit right in with all the weird SCP stuff.

>that image
what was the point the redraw that user did was trying to make?

The issue was about animating the round glasses and how they resulted in a bad look with echoing her eyebrows when it moved. A still image doesn't prove Owen wrong.

Why? All he did was tell how amazed he was by the process of animation while sing a bit of hypeboles. That so many people got triggered by that doesn't make any sense to me.

Fuck, he actually even precise that that doesn't prevent criticism. There is zero reason to be upset about that.

"The only way out is through hyperthermia"
Must admit, that got a laugh from me

I don't have a smart phone. any mirror?

Seriously? Ctrl+F mega on this page. Link is above.

Sorry.

All good. That was assholeish of me, sorry. I'm in a bad mood for unrelated reasons.

Literally tip a fedora on a snowman, at some point.

Mind you, the frog at the tip of the crayon was before pepe become an alt-right symbol, so it might all be coincidental, but still.

No arm done. It was on me, I usually check, but didn't this time.my bad.

>Madridista
Hey, you still exist. I thought the bomb format had killed you.

Here dad looks like fucking DSP

Well, that was ominous about the content of the mega. Thankfully, it was effectively the episode.

It's nice that Tulip isn't some master programmer but just a beginner

>I don't feel so good.

And from the looks of it, that cart was right next to the one she started in

It was backward? I thought it was a cart ahead of her.

Oh boy...

the divorce thing was hamfisted as fuck. does teenagers nowadays actually ask about their friend's parent's divorce that blatantly? especially when they know their friend is still upset about it? it's an ok show but not looking forward for another hamfisted bullshit in the future

Attached: FB_IMG_1474494789587.jpg (541x540, 20K)

>the divorce thing was hamfisted as fuck.
It seemed reent enough to still be a strong point.
>does teenagers nowadays actually ask about their friend's parent's divorce that blatantly?
Sometimes.

>it's an ok show but not looking forward for another hamfisted bullshit in the future
They had to establish the background of Tulip quickly to move on with the story, I don't think it will happens again, now.

Just watched it... and it was surprisingly good? I had absolutely no expectations going in and was pleasantly surprised. Overall it gave me a little bit of an OtGW vibe (a very good thing) while still being unique. I'd prepared myself to hate it or be indifferent at best but I'm actually looking forward to what comes next now. Plus I was legitimately shocked by .

The family situation being discussed openly and not just hinted at was refreshing. Excellent background art, pic related. I really like the music too. (Though I'm sure some people will say the theme music is ripping off Stranger Things just because it's a synth arpeggio and people are dumb in general.)

I just hope the robots aren't too annoying. They were already getting on my nerves a little bit after only 11 minutes.

So its a miniseries, Cool.

+ Only in the US.

>that music
Kek.

No. It’s a full-ass series.

see:

I figured it was another dimension.

You can tell they’re really trying their best to do what’s best for their daughter despite their baggage and complications weighing them down and making it difficult. Not like other divorcees that wedge their kid in the middle of a feud and make it all about themselves.

Who the hell was that anyway?

>does teenagers nowadays actually ask about their friend's parent's divorce that blatantly?

Yes. Children and teens are still developing socially and a lot of them that age haven’t mastered tactfulness or being fully mindful of other people’s feelings. It’s really normal for them to ask or say really direct and rude shit, especially when dealing with concepts they’re not accustomed to.

Tulip’s friend probably had a warped idea that maybe she was being comforting, and probably also figured her questions wouldn’t get answered if she didn’t just go on and ask them, so she went on ahead without fully getting that there’d be consequences.

Fuck I loved the atmosphere of this particular shot. I think the show so far has a really good sense of atmosphere in general.

It has that flavor of horror where things makes you feel small and insignificant.
Reminds me of this not ascetically but more the general feel.

The previous passenger.

I liked it. The art is pretty good and characters are well-conceived.

I don't think it was a good idea to dump the backstory in the first 4 minutes like this before I started to give a fuck, but I managed to get through this.

Still mad about the glasses.

cry more

He explained why. It didn't mesh well with streamline animation.

I feel validated for correctly pegging her as a runaway mad at her parents in the pilot.

However I wonder if they can make a good story out of it in the long run.

It depends. if the authors know what this train is for, who is driving it and why, then it has change to be good. If he goes "I'll find out while writing it", then we'll get a shit-fest like Lost.

Might you, if he find a better reason along the way, he should do it, a writer doesn't have to stick to his gun no matter what, even if it require a bit of retcon and twisting continuity. Continuity shouldn't get into the way of a good story.

But a known destination, at least for the story-teller make the journey better when it comes stories build around mysteries. Even if the destination change along the way.

I'd say tulip should get most of her answers by the end of season 2 or 3. After that the story can go on with other motivation on why staying on the Train or take a new turn by having the real world impacted by the universe of the train, playing on the "you can never come back home" concept and now having to deal with a changed home and being the one with the keys to help it get better. But I am getting ahead of myself, there.

I just hope he doesn't go the "failure is the only option" way.

>then it has change
*chance

so whats the difference between this and that adventure time episode?

It's not the same set of train turning round forever (as far as we know)
It's not "kill all enemies, get to a new cart", but solving puzzle
She can't leave anytime you want
There seems to be an over-arching mystery to solve.
It's set in a parallel universe.

What year is it set in? Is it in present day? I thought it was set in like the early 90s considering how lame her game looks.

>They both have trains so the same
How many levels of retard must people like this be on?

It really should have been one. You can only make so many episodes of a show where characters are trying to escape a place without it getting stale.
At least not without it getting old past season 1. OTGW would have gotten old if it was a 3 season series.

It was supposedly the first game she made, while being a self-taught tween - and she only just figured out how to actually make her character move. So the only thing somewhat out of place is pixel art, if I was her, I wouldn't create an asset at this stage and just add a geometric shape.

No. Train Bomb.

I'm liking Tulip. Her lines and delivery feel earnest, like when she find out she's on the train and starts funbeling over her own words. Not sold on the robot(s) yet

>why wasn't the immediate solution to not having a ride was calling a cabbie or purchasing a bus/train ticket?
They live in Wisconsin in the middle of nowhere. And I think the parents live on a tight budget. They don't seem very rich.
I think it is present days.

>You can only make so many episodes of a show where characters are trying to escape a place without it getting stale
Pic related and Amphibia made that premise work, so why can't Infinity Train take a crack at it?

What I find exciting about Infinity Train is that it likely won’t have regular settings throughout its run; practically every episode is gonna have to introduce a whole new world with new characters and designs. The last shows I can remember actually tackling this were Samurai Jack and, to a lesser extent, Wander Over Yonder. Rick and Morty is also a good example, but that show's crew has the luxury of producing each season one at a time rather than keeping a more common, consistent production schedule.

Attached: Episode XLIII.jpg (991x293, 60K)

>Final Space
>show a tearjerking, emotionally-scarring flashback
>tag on Gary’s annoying quips throughout said flashback to try and add comedy to the drama
Why does Olan think this is okay? The fact that he's still doing this in Season 2 proves he hasn't yet realized that those are inappropriate places to add extra "jokes."

Attached: The infamous Chapter Six.jpg (720x404, 58K)

Yeah, I have a feeling CN wants this to be their next Steven Universe. I imagine there's a large overarching story that goes beyond the scope of just the train. That's just my speculation, though, so we'll see what happens.

Samurai Jack worked because it was an episodic series where you could watch any episode from S1-S4 besides the first three out of order and you would still enjoy it. Every episode was its own contained stand-alone story, and that´s why it worked. With that said, even SJ had the problem of Jack constantly finding ways to go back to the past but doesn´t take it for some bullshit reason, like the monk's episode.
From what I´ve seen from Amphibia, the protagonist doesn´t look like she´s in a hurry to leave and is happy to live with the frogs. I could be wrong though since I haven´t seen it in its entirety.
Infinity Train has a protagonist who wants to leave, who has goals that involve being outside of the train, who´s scared of the place she is in.
I agree that each episode introducing a whole new world will be good, but unlike SJ, this one has actual mystery and lore with it, and it has to answer those questions before it ends. SJ didn´t have to answer anything. Jack has to kill Aku and get back to the past. That´s it.

>Every episode was its own contained stand-alone story,
I think that's why IT is aiming for too.

I think Olan is trying to make a tragicomedy but doesn´t know how to handle it. I guess ideally, everyone would love to make a show that has both sad and funny moments, but not everyone can pull it off.

Yes and no. While it has that to some extent, the show is being promoted as being a mystery show. One you can raise theories on and gives hints of what´s going on. Not to mention that Tulip has to deal with her parent's divorce issues, which is a storyline that for sure will develop throughout the season. Jack also has emotional dilemmas, but all of them can be understood from the opening. He was sent to a hellish future and failed his quest. Everyone can understand how that would fuck up a man.

What are shows that HAVE pulled it off?

Most of the MCU movies. Some people hate the quips, but I like them.

Lastman I guess? It´s not a comedy per se but there´s a lot of funny moments that work.

I think many actually do, it's jsut that that kind of writing has its haters, hence the frequent rambling about quipping in the MCU.

I think it's harder to name fiction where everyone is dour and humourless all the time.

aside from the first minutes of Red Head walking in the forest, the rest of the episode was really good

Interesting. It looks like she codes in python, which is pretty sane choice for a kid to code her first game. Good thing they devoted a little attention to that detail instead of just putting gibberish on the screen that supposed to look like code, like everybody else does.

Attached: 1.png (937x812, 693K)

If anything its probably gonna be ending up somewhat similar to cowboy bebop. There IS and overarching story behind everything but every episode is also watchable standalone. That way its rewarding for people watching only the episodes they happen to catch and those that watch in order.

>If anything its probably gonna be ending up somewhat similar to cowboy bebop
My only disappointment with cowboy Bebop is that ed (my favourite character when I watched the show as a kid) has zero impact on the ending. Like, you remove it completely from the whole story, and the ending remains exactly the same.

I'm so glad they changed the art style. The pilot made her so ugly. The eyes have great shapes and the limbs actually have shapes instead of just being pipes.
I like that she eats fucking raw onions. I like her fish tank.. I like the fucking intro... The orb is just as funny as I remember. the dogroaches were creepy.
Did she just up and run away? Man there's gonna be a lot of worried parents in cartoons lately.
I don't think the premise has a lot of legs, but I'm going to enjoy watching this for sure. and drawing lewd fanart of it.

God dammit why must everything be burned off now

Oh, she codes in Python. What a terrible choice of a language nice choice for people who are not software developers or even simple coders.

Attached: 14947118417080.jpg (1405x923, 176K)

Apart from the obnoxious robot character this looks pretty interesting.

war movies
Gallows humor is abundant in those.

This is the superior one among Frog show and Owl show

like she can't fucking go with any friends or anything.. living in the middle of nowhere is not worth it.
reminds me of when i had a job and people kept trying to help out giving me rides to and from, but schedule shit kept fucking it all up, and the boss was never letting me be flexible so I could change my hours to fit when I could get a ride, and I ended up just pouring most of my paycheck into cab rides

Oh shit, she doesn't even write tests.

Was the other girl supposed to go with her or not? I think I got distracted at this scene and it wasn't clear to me.

>nowadays
pretty sure this takes place in the past.

Did you just say tween

I am deeply saddened by the opening of this episode with the divorce and the mom argument, i started crying for real.
I am going to take a break before I continue.

Attached: 780.png (764x718, 118K)

Absolutely they do, some people don't have much tack at that age.

>and I ended up just pouring most of my paycheck into cab rides
Nowadays, I consider electric bike, to be quite useful, if the job is not entirely too far away. Or an electric scooter, if you want to combine that with public transportation.

naw that girl hates videogames
it's nice they can be friends with different interests. i guess in buttfuck nowhere you just make do. although she is probably the sole negro in that part of the state, so chances are good she moved relatively recently.

>Was the other girl supposed to go with her or not?
She wasn't. It's a game programming camp and she said she didn't like game.

Feels like everything moved just a little too fast for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it's atmosphere thoroughly. It's cool that it's PG, it'll allow it to get a little more gritty then the average CN show.

yeah i didnt know about these options back then but also I didn't trust myself, especially when it got icy.
and a bike is the one you can combine with pubic transport. but then the bike rack on this bus kept filling, so I would be left unable to get to work.

this show reminds me of a /tg/ thread where they brainstormed an rpg around the concept of an infinite train, only it had more of a horror tinge to it.

It's literally the best language for a beginner there is.
And doesn't use type annotations! Would never hire.

Okay, I tell that as a friend, but you seems new, here. Yea Forums is not a place for you, everyone will be mean to you and you have to be able to take it.

it's always weird to me when you can have a character talk about the sweet embrace of death, and their next line is 'oh my gosh'

user, that is a feelsposter. that's not real. it's a joke.

>and a bike is the one you can combine with pubic transport.
When I siad electric scooter, I was thinking of this. Electric bike can go faster and be more comfortable for longer distance, but they take some place and can be an hassle if the public transit is crowded.

Attached: 0.jpg (600x600, 30K)

I think it's current time.

The OST though. That's some sweet synth.

oh I see. yeah no I can't stand for extended periods, this wouldn't work out. plus it seems even more unsafe.

love it.
well she did talk about speech recognition but I dunno, things haven't changed much in the last 10-15 years. True though it's been 25+ years since divorce wasn't ubiquitous. even Home Movies made that "everybody's parents get divorced, Jason. don't worry, yours will eventually."

I think it was more the awkwardness of an amicable divorce. Those are unusual, it's usually something easier to handle, like a discrete split, no more talking or thinking about the other person.
Having them come in and talk to each other, being constantly reminded of the change in relationship, thattt would be weird. It was weird when my parents did that later on, and got along great, and it's like... you people used to hate each other, what is this? if you were so capable of getting along, why didn't you stay together? you haven't gotten along this well with your multiple remarriages, not even close.

What if the 3 girls get transported to an other world together and they had to survive? a world that is like hours but much more hardcore and cool with assassin negroids.

She said that trains were an obsolete way of travel or whatever, though it's probably because she lives in the country and not like in New York.

>things haven't changed much in the last 10-15 years.
No smart device.

that's the enjoyable thing about watching Better call Saul.

That's just typical TV code nonsense. Can't say God or say Christmas.

The "never say oh my God" rule CN, Disney and Nick seem to still enforce is aggravatingly stupid and never made sense to me. Who's going to get offended at a cartoon character using an incredibly common American English phrase that's practically been entirely divorced of its original context and meaning and turned into a generic expression of shock or surprise?

That said I was positively surprised by how the freaky beasts actually felt kind of threatening. I don't know if it was just the design or the way the chase sequence was boarded but it worked out really well and if that's CN's idea of PG rating then I welcome it, stupid language rules and all.

Disney did something similar, but not quite, with amphibia. I read on Youtube people like to "binge watch" I suppose is millennial for "marathon"

That' because God hates cartoons, I know, I was an Evangelical.

Well, can you blame Him?

The most enjoyable parts of BCS for me are the montages of Mike Doing Things. I would watch a show of just that.

Developers who start with Python usually write awful procedure-like shitcode.

There are smart-phones, so it's set in rather recent times.

Attached: 0.png (875x695, 450K)

I've heard lots of real life people say "oh my Gosh", and not even super churchy types. But I don't know if kid's TV influenced that, or the other way around.

thanks, but we could use a proper rip with no cuts. It's 2019

Good man user

>34
>still cares about what ppl on the internet think
damn user that's kinda sad

ESL, here, I always assumed the rreason you have expression such as "Man, this sucks" was to not say "God, this sucks"

No, if anything, we need more. MORE!

Not just cartoons. It's all TV.
It's why most TV shows call Christmas "the holidays."

oh I guess. meh
no you haven't, don't lie. unless you're in utah.

God likes Anime according to /christian/

I'm waiting for it to be done right. Most of them aren't REMOTELY quirky or nerdy enough. i mean I like Anne fine, but she's super normie. that's part of her arc even.
though as an immigrant's kid it's not that surprising

Well they do just call it Christmas in anime. So God must like it.

>first episode start in winter.
Couldn't they have waited for mid-october, to start airing the show, so we could be more in the mood? A part of what made me like the first season of Stranger Thing was that I could watch it while my chimney near me was lit and the show had the same frisky vibe as the outside.

'the holidays' isnt that weird, it's not new, what fucking annoys me is 'this holiday, give them the gift of..'
first of all, it's not called 'holiday'
secondly, only one of them has presents.
nah 'man' is more whiny. 'god' is more in awe of the size of the problem. english is crazy subtle.

They probably were promised that, and CN has been sitting on the show for 8 months, or throwing hurdles at them that slowed production.

I loved that about Over the Garden Wall. I still watch it every fall.

I don't like how all cartoons now seem to feature girls, but I got completely disillusioned in any cartoon featuring both boy and girl lead to ever have a good female character.

She spends time in non-descript room and outside in the desert. There's not really any winter mood going on.

I just realised the chasing song One-One was humming was Yaketi-sax.

Attached: 0.jpg (480x360, 11K)

>I don't like how all cartoons now seem to feature girls
it is getting pretty worrisome. especially when they still claim to be 'left out' of things that they are the vast majority of
>but I got completely disillusioned in any cartoon featuring both boy and girl lead to ever have a good female character.
what?
Oscar and Hedgehog are pretty great, it just annoys me slightly how the boy can do no right and the girl can do no wrong.. Just make it the hedgehog show if that's who you want your main character to be. Don't bait and switch us. but it's still pretty rad and their friendship is so sweet.

That name almost looks like Good Guys Pooping Bad Guys.

When something impressive or terrible happens I invoke the Holy trinity, God is grand, God is merciful, and usually get on my knees.

It is weird because I was trained by my grandparents to be a Palo Mayombe Tata.

I already hate the little robot character. Ruined the show as far as I can tell.

I noticed that right away. Surprised it sang it too because every time I hear it in other shows it's a facsimile of it to avoid copyright. Did they pay to use it or...?

it's funny how bad everyone is at doing that tune properly, which makes it possible to do without paying for.

It's more the depressive side that annoys me. The chipper side is fine.

Which one (one)?

It also looks like windowsXP, does the show take place in the early 2000s or does tulip like classic OS?

Can we get a white male lead sometime? Tired of these uninteresting white girls with no soul.

>I don't like how all cartoons now seem to feature girls,
It's only 3, anons.

What are other new cartoons around here?

She has a smart phone so present days. I think it's more that her parents might be poor and they got her an old machine at cheap price.

If girl can do no wrong, that makes for a boring, bad character. The only way it can be worse, if she does plenty of wrong, but the story get warped to make her right, like Gravity Falls.

Compared to this, Anne from Amphibia is characterized much better, though it's too early to judge Tulip.

She IS from Wisconsin, and is going to Oshkosh. B'gosh.

When they say camp in America, is it supposed to always be stereotypical camp with cabins in the middle of the woods, or just getting holed up in a classroom somewhere is a possibility?

Christmas IS Holidays. Like shit, why do you think Twelve Days of Christmas is a carol?

hedgehog, does things to make her seem right in context, but when you can see from the interactions with her parents you can that she has deep seeded issues that may come out later

Dragon Prince
Trolls Hunter
Steven Universe
Young Justice
Craig of the Creek
Transformers Cyberverse

That's usually a summer camp. This game dev camp is probably a large building with dorms.

>She has a smart phone
Her "smartphone" has two physical buttons under the screen. Besides, not every phone with a touchscreen is a smartphone. Phones like this became widely affordable around 2006.

I like "finalv5"

It seemed to only last for a week-end, too. Which seems a bit short.

working now in usa

>not every phone with a touchscreen is a smartphone.
Those who take most of the face of the phones are. It's bot a Blueberries. Also, she mention speech recognition and just assume One-One is an AI like Alexa, at first. she is familiar with this kind of technology.

Her parents are just short on money and bought her an older smart-phone with still some facial buttons. She some sort of snapchat app, seen when her father message her.

*tact

though I do go back to that 'i enjoy looking at girls more' principle over and over

>and every single videogame
no

I have a feeling the next car is most likely the corgi monarchy, with that corgi king from the pilot now joining her for the rest of the show. That laser blast that killed that guy was most likely that bundle of wires/weapons with the mask face from the pilot too.

Well, he did say Benny Hill

He did? I thought One-One said he had just made it up.

>Begin

The pacing was trash. But the white ball is great.

>That laser blast that killed that guy was most likely that bundle of wires/weapons with the mask face from the pilot too.
I thought it came from the cloud.

>she mention speech recognition
Ok, I admit, that's a good one. It's probably the present. No point making it "just a few years in the past".

>The pacing was trash.
I agree. They put a lot of exposition before they gave us any reason to care. They should've started in medias res and then flash back for the second half. Worked great for Amphibia.

I agree too. Suddenly in the woods, suddenly train appears, suddenly she's already fleeing for her life, suddenly surprisingly okay with meeting a talking orb robot and the freaking shit happening on the train.
Hopefully the next episode is paced a little better.

>she hears dog paws coming up
>we see a silhouette of dog legs
>fear happens but then CORGWN

>They should've started in medias res and then flash back for the second half.
I have actually grow to dislike that sort of presentation, do things in order unless there is a reason not to.

Attached: 0.jpg (1280x720, 49K)

Ah, the joys of an enforced 11-minute runtime for a show that desperately needs double that. Fucking CN.

Mao Mao

It's true.
Honestly I feel like Infinity Train being on Netflix like Twelve Forever would've helped it in the long run, but we gotta deal with the cards we've been dealt.

I have to agree, that wouldn't work here at all
or rather, we already got that, thanks to the pilot existing and giving us a taste of the middle first. which is why pilots almost always do that.

I can't read it very well but Game Maker and RPG Maker both use Ruby, which is very similar to python.

>All he did was tell how amazed he was
He didn't. He says every animation production is a miracle, no exceptions.

>he actually even precise that that doesn't prevent criticism.
He says the only way to criticize a cartoon is to first acknowledge it as a miracle. In other words, invalidate your criticism by lying with a statement that contradicts your criticism.

Just because a product has a lot of work put into it, with a lot of people involved, doesn't mean the end result is a miracle, and it DEFINITELY doesn't mean the end result is good. I guarantee you Owen Dennis has criticized a video game or a movie for being shit. He doesn't have standards, just defense mechanisms.

guys didn't we learn anything from.. being on the internet? a lot of people are bad at dealing with this kind of criticism, especially when they're from hugbox hollywood. you can't act like they're horrible people, just treat them like the children they are, and help foster them to grow up in a loving but firm environment. we were ALL idiots when we first got online and started interacting with audiences.

>He didn't. He says every animation production is a miracle, no exceptions.
That's what I said.

>He says the only way to criticize a cartoon is to first acknowledge it as a miracle
Yes, user, you get to be better a criticizing a medium once you have a good understanding of the creation process. Its kind of a no-brainer.

> In other words, invalidate your criticism by lying with a statement that contradicts your criticism.
Nope, he didn't lie. He said it's important to understand how cartoon are made. He fully justify criticism.

>just because a product has a lot of work put into it, with a lot of people involved, doesn't mean the end result is a miracle
It's more a matter of opinion, there and really, there is no reason for you to get upset by it. You are getting flustered for nothing.

Is Tulip still a virgin?

Attached: 134134413541.jpg (225x225, 10K)

I agree. It should have been a longer special where the first act establishes her regular life before putting her in the strange train.

>a lot of people are bad at dealing with this kind of criticism,
He wasn't even dealing with Criticism. even state that Criticism is perfectly legit. He simply say that the critic should know what they are talking about, which seems sensible enough.

There is nothing in what he said to get upset about.

undoubtedly. Poor thing.

>Just because a product has a lot of work put into it, with a lot of people involved, doesn't mean the end result is a miracle,
your mom popping you out of her ass is a miracle.

> undoubtedly
How could it happen? I mean she IS a girl.

That's part of dealing with things... imperfectly.

yeah but out in nowhereland

Even Ireland has plenty of cock bearers

Fun Fact: The overseas animation director for Infinity Train at SMIP (Hwang Ki-hoo) was the overseas animation director on SMIP's OK KO episodes during the first 2 seasons

yeah but it's denser. there's different cultures with this shit
i have no idea what it's like for kids today, but I know a little while ago it was pretty fucked. but northern UK is like the worst parts of rural and urban combined.

> but northern UK is like the worst parts of rural and urban combined
Is it a bad thing? I mean you could literally get wasted in a night club and afterwards go to the wild and masturbate on the Moon or something.

Over The Garden Wall is a masterpiece. CN took it for granted.

cartoonnetwork.com/video/infinity-train/the-grid-car-episode.html

I'm only three minutes in and I think it's pretty unique. Tulip is already way more relatable than most kid's show characters.

I dunno dude they gave it a lot of promotion
Tulip has definite waifu potential. she's tops.

It's because you are/were a quiet awkward kid who didn't do everything what cool kids do.

some of us were loud, confident kids who didn't do everything the 'cool' kids were doing, and got shit on for that. the populars valued quietude, there wasn't much going on upstairs.

How did they take it for granted?

Because after OTGW, they never aired anything like it again and no more mini-series format either. CN peaked in 2014.

Tulip's father is brown-haired and her mother is blonde-haired so how the fuck Tulip can be a readhead? Tulip's mother cucked her father and that's why they divorced (not sure why her father still supports Tulip since she's not his daughter)?

Attached: 44.png (653x671, 557K)

that's not what taking something for granted means
you are right they've lost their way but what hasn't?

They did do another miniseries after OtGW, Long Live the Royals. They quit doing them after that because it was terrible and poorly received.

As kino as OtGW was, it didn't perform as strongly as their top shows (TTG and Gumball). That's why they never did anything else like it.

The only thing required to be ginger is both of your parents have the ginger gene. It's recessive. Then again, blonde is recessive too, I'm not sure how that works. But she could bleach hers (eyebrows look pretty dark), and mini tulip looks like her hair is pretty auburn, so maybe she reddens it.

Obviously it didn't perform as well on a majority kid's network. OTGW isn't even the same genre as TTG and Gumball, so it shouldn't really be compared with those shows.

> The only thing required to be ginger is both of your parents have the ginger gene.
Well, I heard a similar thing when a white pair suddenly has a black child - because of recessive bullshit and not because of the mother is a fucking whore.

>Tulip's father is brown-haired and her mother is blonde-haired so how the fuck Tulip can be a readhead?
That's how red-haired people are created. Sometime, the darker dominant gene fuck-up with the blond gene and it result with a red hair. that why all the redhair in europe, like the Netherlands, popped up between the north and the south.

There is a South park episode that explain that better than I.

Attached: 0.jpg (1000x563, 61K)

No see, black traits are all dominant. it's possible for two black people to have a very light-skinned kid, and that happens sometimes. but recessive genes can be hiding in both parents.
this all should have been covered in middle school biology.

The skin color doesn't exactly work on the recessive gene.

>No see, black traits are all dominant.
They really aren't.

CN executives are getting sick of shows that pander to hipster adults. All it brings them is grief and arguments on the internet over SJW politics and there's a massive risk of alienating their core demographic of children due to them being seen as boring by young viewers. Tailoring Adventure Time to generate trending on social media is why the quality tanked in the later seasons and the ratings plummeted.

> this all should have been covered in middle school biology.
My middle school teached how not to die in the wild forest and which plants are edible and which are not really.

And how useful have that knowledge been?

>Tailoring Adventure Time to generate trending on social media is why the quality tanked in the later seasons and the ratings plummeted.
That's why the mini-series format is superior in many cases and they should bring it back. Also OTGW was not targeting adults.

Not useful at all - in real life if you get lost in the wild forest you'll fucking die because of the reasons unless you're a prepared /out/ist or 911 finds your ass before wild animals or cold or hunger do.

>No one can take her to game camp
Damn, they don't have any family or friends that can drop her off at a bus stop or something?

She's a red head

>Tailoring Adventure Time to generate trending on social media is why the quality tanked
They didn't do that. It simply was the direction of the wireters because it was the direction they wanted to take. And it stayed good, some quit the show because they thought the gay were taking over and decided to call it bad despite stopping watching it.

>and the ratings plummeted.
They didn't. It was more a case of show fatigue after 10 seasons.

>That's why the mini-series format is superior
Not always. You just have to accept the show evolve and grow in direction you didn't expect it to take. that's how a long running show avoid stagnation, but it result in some stopping watching the show because the new direction is not what they wanted it to tell, but that doesn't the story isn't worth telling.

Well 300 hundred miles are a lot. I was more surprised that her parents didn't order a taxi for her daughter or something. It will be expensive, yes, but her mother is a nurse meaning she's almost as rich as Donald fucking Trump after he started to take Russian money from brighton beach mafia.

She live in the middle of nowhere.

Are redhead people not allowed to use public transport in America?

They aren't.

Isn't this an example of racism?

lol

only white lives matter

In China, most cartoons are mini-series and you know they do everything better than us.

It's the only way things ever should be

300 mile taxi ride? Are you insane? It's like $5 a mile.

Cartoon's length is related to the medium penis size, you know.

Adventure Time episode was just a never-ending dungeon that happened to be in the form of a train. Finn and Jake could leave whenever they wanted, it's just the siren song of loot kept Finn and other adventurers in a loop. The only similarities between it and the show is the concept of something infinite being on a train.

> 1.5k bucks
Her mother is an American nurse. She practically urinates with money.

Gingers are not considered real humans. Parent who put red-hair at school are considered like animal owner trying to teach their pet some tricks.

after Amphibia great 1st season and Infinite Train great and promissing 1st episode, should I feel hope for Owl House?

Attached: the-owl-house-disney-1.jpg (1600x900, 306K)

Please stop posting this repulsive picture. It gives me Star Vs PTSD.

Because they'd pointlessly be alienating fundamentalists who don't want to see the Lord's name taken in vain and secular athiests who balk at the idea of seeing god within popular culture.

Do they even have a soul?

sure, just don't fall for any kind of hype in general.

Amphibia was such a surprise, that i seriously doubt owl house or infinity train can beat it, but it will be interesting to see what they do.

The person behind that show has done some good stuff. I think you can be trusting.

It's not even the same design.

Not according to the pope.

Attached: E3_2_1.png (484x366, 141K)

It depends. You have stuff like space camp and other more tech-minded hobbies that would be a more modern facility but there's still the traditional "wilderness" lake cabins out there.

Holy shit, that explains why Tulip tries to become a coder.

Depends on whether it has shipping or not, I can't fucking do shipping anymore since it almost always turns to shit.

havent you heard about the brown loli and the albino witch?

Attached: 1563743802203.png (484x366, 228K)

Please don't ship them.

I dont, but the creators of the show do

Fun fact, Voltron Legendary defender is not a shipping show. Like, literally, I am 100% meaning it, you remove all romance aspect of the show, all of it, and it remains almost exactly the same. and despite what the haters say, it's actually good, with a satisfying final.

But it started to be popular among shippers and they started watching it hopping there would some of their fanfiction in it. They got super upset when it resulted into nothing and now they have propagated the idea the show is bad.

>The Robot singing Yakety Sax while being chased

Okay that got me

dear god that was awful.
Background art looked nice though.
>its a bomb format too
OOOOH NO NO NO NO NO NO
dead on impact

>it's actually good, with a satisfying final
the first season was good, then they fucked up when they couldnt kill Shiro

I've watched the first episode twice today, and I'm still impressed by this.

Replace Owl House with with Star Vs.
It's too early to set Owl house there.

I disagree, it lead to several interesting arcs. The team managed to grow without him while he still got some development himself. And at least that way, you can't blame the show for killing its gay.

>awful voice acting

Star Vs is off the picture.

>edgy for being edgy
>DUDE NIHILISM LMAO
What do you mean by this?

>3 episodes every 8 month format
wait what? thats worse than the bomb format

Hello, Mr. sunshine.

Only because of MUH SPLITUP PARENTS

As long as they keep it in the background they'll be fine

skin color is totally weird and doesnt follow typical rules because it has like six different factors.
like most of the time it looks like it just averages out your parents, but there's plenty of chances for other weird shit to happen instead.
that one milk-chocolate couple had one dark chocolate baby and one white, in the same litter

in our culture, traits that are considered black are dominant. the broad nose, thick lips, curly hair, etc. You can be 1/8th african or less, in a pool of european, and be called black. It's different in latin america

How is that nihilistic at all?

>the broad nose
There are at least 5 genes involved in the shape of the nose.

Who is the White male audience supposed to identify with? Simple, the little white cuck ball. The nebbish quiet White beta orbiter character attaches itself to the White female lead but is almost sold off (unsuccessfully) at one point. It is forced to watch the romance unfold.

Yeah no, that's probably a month's income for her. She gets child support, sure, but..

I mean, the art looks goddamn astounding. It has all the anime sensibilies I look for, including shapely eyes and things turned at the correct angles to be seen properly...

I didn't say there weren't?

that's Von. Van is Dutch/Danish.

This is clearly the main issue. 11 minute run times are fine for comedy cartoons, but for anything a bit more serious, the full half hour block is really needed for halfway decent pacing. There's no room for plot between action segments in 11 minutes.

it's been so weird watching Hilda and getting these nice 24-minute episodes, something we haven't had in ages, and I'm almost like "well this is almost over now right? Oh.. there's more. awesome. okay.. wow this plot actually took an unexpected direction"

Shouldn't she have some dam to plug up?

maybe that's why her dad's ancestors came to this country. get somewhere a little drier. somewhere above sea level.

She's definitely going to stick her finger in a dyke.

dumb frogposter

uh oh

In my experience that usually means the Autobahn.
Which they clog with their fucking trailers.

Attached: sr1gmn9p4j531.png (637x1080, 533K)

the way he writes is fucking autistic and you probably also have autism if you can't see that

the autobahn's getting clogged? never thought i'd see the day. sorry to hear about that, guy
i hear deutschland is getting their shit together and realizing they cant keep supporting all the sped countries AND allow the rest of yurp to walk all over them, something has to give.

Imagine being so retarded you fall for bait this hard.
I can't wait until one fucking poster starts calling this show Gravity Falls constantly.

You'd think they'd have learned from horse show
the spammers aren't real fans. they're spammers
you can't stop them by being hostile towards individual shows, or banning discussion of those shows. They'll just find something else.
the only way to stop them is to get them real parents who will spank them and teach them to care about others.

VERY pleased to see that it isn't terrible

How is Germany doing? I thought basically all of Europe was fucked?

So true it hurts.

>Train Bomb.
Lets hope she doesn't find a way back to earth by the end of episode 5. It would be kind of lame if she finds a way to go back and forth between her home and the train.

last i heard they were realizing they couldnt let refugees just swarm in, and while they didnt SAY "okay maybe america was right" they DID say "okay we're going to start closing our borders now, and the rest of you need to figure out what your quota is and stick to it, or soon they won't have anywhere to go TO"
anyway that's way off topic

that would be kinda ridiculous
at the same time, a very different show with a different premise would do a good job with something like... well, the way Twelve Forever does Party Island.
like "I have a key to get on this train through any door, and every day after school I'm gonna try to solve another car or two... by next year, I should get to the conductor and solve this mystery"
whereas Twelve Forever would be a lot better if she was stuck inside her subconscious and had to solve her way out over the course of a season, instead of making these weird voluntary trips to a place she can't control

Watched it, I thought it was nice, the monster design was definitely the highlight for me tho, I don't hate Tulip and One One yet, but I also don't love them, they seem fine so far tho, there's potential here.
Also, her black friend has literally no tact lmao, "um, isn't it weird how they talk but are also not married anymore?, they're divorced Tulip, you're parents are divorced"
How old is Tulip supposed to be again? It seems kinda weird she couldn't have just went by taxi or bus to camp.

Attached: 1459715561238.gif (180x166, 457K)

>bomb format
oh no

>failure results in death
I thought the first episode was pretty promising, a bit rushed for an introduction like other people have said, but it seems like the writers actually have a proper story planned. The feeling of tense high-stakes is good, even though it probably won't get any edgier than what we've seen.

>Twelve Forever would be a lot better if she was stuck inside her subconscious
Nah, she needs to experience real life in order to gradually distance herself from her constant need of escapism.

Attached: GIF.gif (484x270, 1.28M)

That little robot should have been called Zero-One, with Zero being the negative and One being the positive; representative of the no/yes of the binary system.

I guess that girl was pretty sheltered. Or maybe in her own way she was trying to make sure Tulip just faces the issues instead of denying them. Honestly it felt like half and half.

>How old is Tulip supposed to be again?
13
>It seems kinda weird she couldn't have just went by taxi or bus to camp.
300 miles is a fucking distance, i'm astounded her parents signed her up for this in the first place. I can see why she had to bring her grades up first (what kind of computer programmer needs to work on her grades though? school's so easy)
I mean were they really going to make this a day-long road trip?

yeah but all the more reason she'd be stuck.. and need to get out. and need to REALIZE she needs to get out.
I could even see a scenario where some small part of Butt Witch represents the part of her that knows she needs to escape
unfortunately that's been used. One-one is a terrible name but it's not used yet.

Why are you subscribed to Mr.Bean?

I had a girlfriend who had a black father and white mother. All her siblings were pretty damn dark even for mixed, but my ex was pale as shit. No she wasn't adopted

Not sure, a programmer would probably would be fucking bored of school.

I'm subscribed to some shit I know is never gonna make any more...

Isn't the robots full name supposed to be glad one and sad one respectively? I don't remember where I heard that but I think that's right.

I was bored almost literally to tears by school, but I still got straight As.
My sister got perfect grades and she started skipping like mad because she got so bored, and wanted to go have a real life.

that sounds legit

brainlet

Saw the first episode, it was ok I guess. The chase scene with the bugs was cool.

Attached: ZTV.png (1365x724, 1.15M)

I'm not the kinda person to flip my shit over muppet eyes or dot eyes, but I'm so happy to see actual distinct top and bottom lids in a cartoon today. Fanart of Tulip is going to be a fun and pleasant experience

>diving straight into divorce talk right at the start
damn it's gonna be like that, huh

Also does she seriously just eat raw onions

Attached: sad cat.jpg (1080x810, 104K)

can someone make a webm of roachdog sliding into the second cart?

They're good!
You ever read Onion Joe?

>impliying kind doggo is not the chad male character for people to identify with

i appreciated the undocked tail

what's with these guys and skulls?

They only care about Victor and Valentino and Teen Titans GO!

ANNE NOOOOO

based and f-annepilled

I need a version with Tulip laughing at her doom.

Ask the shitposting photoshopfag

I did they keep on talking about how "mature" their show is.

Attached: autist finds autism room.webm (640x360, 2.57M)

Should have taken one of the blocks with her and had a universal toolmaker.

Why is Tulip's name Tulip Olsen on the wiki? I thought it was Van Helsing?

maybe that's a joke she calls herself
or maybe she's between names due to the parent thing. that's not how it usually works, but it can be.

I really hope it's just some guy who edited the page to fuck with everyone. Van Helsing is way more aesthetic.

cartoon wiki are usually edited by little kids.

I can't even imagine living for 50 years, let alone 500 million.
That was some good shit, though.

Maybe it doesn't work outside the car or outside certain cars.

>not identifying with the cute girl
fag

I liked him, especially the depressed side.
Reminded me a lot of Marvin from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie.

>she's now an OMG gamer girl
>lobotomy
How the fuck is she she dumber or an air headed gamur gurl?
she still talks like she did in the pilot and she's a programmer the furthest thing you can get to a gamer girl you can get. She dresses plainly. there are no gaming memorabilia in her room and the only game we see her play is her own. You just just say they dumbed her down because she isn't the super genius nerd you imagined her to be from the pilot which never said she was.

Tulip isn't cute. Shes not ugly either. she's aesthetically pleasing. she's hollywood average Jane.

She was slightly ugly in the pilot but now I think she's hot and I want to marry her.

So is this show worth getting into?
Just finished amphibia and need something to hold me over until hiatus ends.

only one episode out, is worth at least checking out

go watch mao mao
also yeah it's pretty good.

I would too but her looks isn't any of the reasons.

>Matt Braly looks at and likes almost every tweet with “amphibia” contained in the text
>while Owen is preliminary warning that he’s putting himself in a plastic bubble to avoid hurting his feelings before his show is even out, already “knowing” that the response will be too overwhelming for him even though his season is a quarter of the length of Amphibia’s
how does such a pussy make it this far

Attached: 136F76DE-E5E8-4BA4-AF17-67BD9720115C.jpg (750x700, 271K)

in LA dude. and -as an animator- rather than as a stockbroker or a laborer.
also it's a good idea. Fuck, nobody should be looking at social media. that's like reading the news or huffing paint.

I think that's not a bad idea, social media has never done anyone any good in general.

And yet Braly and the Houghtons (who are known Yea Forums anons) can digest and deal with internet criticism, anle to tell the constructive stuff from obvious trolling, while Owen is already afraid of it a couple of weeks before his creation has even met viewers’ eyeballs.
I can respect a creator who is absent from social media as a whole because the format doesn’t appeal to them, but to remain active but basically say “I’m going to ignore anything related to my
show because my feelings might get hurt” displays he’s an incredibly fragile person

It's a solid idea to avoid going to Yea Forums threads or watching review videos, but it's fucking stupid not to even engage in looking at fanart of your own show. As if people drawing Tulip saying, "I like Infinity Train!" is really going to mentally fuck him up, unless he's so weak-minded, his ego will inflate from just that alone.

>Monster attacking our protagonist
>QUICK USE A FLAT 3/4 SHOT

Why do American artists do this.

>Unless there is a reason not to
I like the sense that we don't know how many cars Tulip's gone through already. Having a definitive starting point car feels less magical.

Don’t you hate when this happens?

Attached: 1A414A2A-61FF-4E47-AE22-795B5F005E5E.png (1334x750, 978K)

What the fuck are you on?
They've made mini-series since but the format has proven to not pull ratings.
However, OtGW made CN realize that the 'bomb' format DOES result in better ratings and they've played around with that a lot since.

Any porn?

SHIT SUX

OTGW is the most overrated piece of media to come out in the last 10 years. It's fantastic, yes, but it pales in comparison to what people like you think it is.

Kids today and their drugs.

If you're getting this mad over someone writing 'autistically', you may want to self reflect for a bit.

Attached: 1556838576160.jpg (1229x703, 618K)

I hallucinate shit all the time.
I wish drugs were the cause.

How many times dad, I don’t do drugs.
It’s only marijuana

He can look at the fanart on art websites, where normal people go.

Plus think about it, in this day and age, if you neglect to notice a piece of fanart is "problematic" and you leave a like on it, or an approving comment, your life can be fucking over
I think the responsibility of a brittle person is to recognize it and prepare for it. Not just go out in public, get wrecked, and make your problem everyone's problem as you break down.

Why is this show being pitted against Amphibia? Are there just no other cartoons on?

well she didn't jump on the caboose, she jumped on car #117 (or was it 115?)
also weird that the train doesn't just contain other dimensions, but is itself in one. i found that weird and neat.

I hallucinate in bed. I'm told that's normal. I didn't used to do it (that i know of), it started after this rat got into my apartment and crawled in bed with me a few times (Cuddly little guy)

the soviets pay people to basically spread shit around to make everyone as unhappy as possible. ignore it.

There are, but they aren't very good.

Haven't we had enough cartoons period? Someone arson the CN buildings already.

>He can look at the fanart on art websites, where normal people go.
Twitter is an "art website" that people post fanart on. That and Tumblr are the two most popular places to post fanart, and people started leaving Tumblr after the porn purge, so I'm willing to bet Twitter is the #1 place for the most concentration of current fanart.

Is train station euphemism for a glory hole.

>Are there just no other cartoons on?
There is but its pretty much banned from being talked about here.

twitter restricts the shit out of 'problematic' content, and it's a completely lousy place for art. only a moron would go there.

>only a moron would go there.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean shit. The reality is, it's one of the most popular places to post art.

>it's popular
what is your argument here?

My argument is that you're a fucking retard who says, "If someone wants to look at fanart, they'll go to an art site", but Twitter IS "that art site".

I said if he wants to look at fanart, he should go to an art website like a normal person. not to social media like a common retard.

Social media is used as an art website by the majority of artists, you retard.

>majority
what's your argument here?

Do you have actual autism?

>he thinks people still use deviantart

LOL

its not coming back, bro. let it go.

>he doesn't know

>Who is the White male audience supposed to identify with? Simple, the little white cuck ball
No, they'll identify with Atticus, the brave and noble Corgi, Ruler of a whole Kingdom.

Fine, actually.

Not really. What is going on is we need to coordinate with ourselves more.

>i'm astounded her parents signed her up for this in the first place.
They probably thought she would be good enough at English and were caught off-guard when she succeed, hence why they sucked at organised the trip because they thought they wouldn't nee to.

>she's now an OMG gamer girl
She just made one very basic game.

>but it's fucking stupid not to even engage in looking at fanart of your own show.
He literally said a friend would provide that to him, user, learn to read.
>As if people drawing Tulip saying, "I like Infinity Train!" is really going to mentally fuck him up,
That is not what he is wary to deal with.
After Tumblr went down, it kind of got a resurgence.

user, it's not about feeling but how energy consuming social media can be. It can just be exhausting, beside the feeling matter. The man know is limit and act correspondingly. It's the reasonable thing to do.

Just because other creators have the stamina to do this doesn't mean you are entitled to all of them doing the same.

>also weird that the train doesn't just contain other dimensions, but is itself in one.
Well, I am quite sure a Train going on forever with no official track record nor schedule would have been quickly noticed in the real world.

>He literally said a friend would provide that to him, user, learn to read.
That's still fucking dumb.

>That is not what he is wary to deal with.
People on Twitter tend not to write lengthy critical essays about shows like Victor & Valentino or Ducktales, I think he's fine to look at tags on Twitter and look at fanart on his own without third-party assistance.

>That's still fucking dumb.
No, it isn't. It's a good way to not get overwhelmed.
>People on Twitter tend not to write lengthy critical essays about shows like Victor & Valentino or Ducktales,
You say that as if it was the worst thing he might encounter.
>think he's fine to look at tags on Twitter and look at fanart on his own without third-party assistance.
I think he know better than you what he is able to tackle on.

I don't know, you act as if you thought his audience as entitled to his10% attention. Why is it such an issue, to you?

>Be such a fragile flower, you have to mute the tag to your own show because you're afraid of criticism
I'm allowed to comment on a person who is publicly announcing he's highly insecure.

>Why is it such an issue, to you?
What a fucking conversation ender, I hate it when people post shit like this.

>>Be such a fragile flower,
Again, you are blowing things out of proportion. Toning done your social media consumption when you know you need to do that is an healthy thing to do. Your attempt to twist it in a negative way is rather mind-scratching.
>I'm allowed to comment on a person who is publicly announcing he's highly insecure.
I am allowed to correct you and tell you that it is not what insecurity is. Knowing your own limit is not the same thing as being insecure.

>What a fucking conversation ender, I hate it when people post shit like this.
You get pointed out that you are trying to bad-mouth someone for reasons that don't really hold. It's quite normal to be asked why you insist of bashing on someone who hasn't really say anything to deserve that reaction. That's it. Its quite a normal thing to ask.

>because you're afraid of criticism
Again, learn to read. That's not the reason he is doing that.

Owen has explicitly said he had no issue with criticism.

"Toning down" and "cutting everything out completely" are not the same thing. Owen is doing the latter.

>You get pointed out that you are trying to bad-mouth someone for reasons that don't really hold.
And I'm pointing out Owen is being overly fragile during a time he should be happy. Saying, "why do you care" is such a discussion stopper. Why do you care what I think? That's what it's a shitty thing to tack on to your posts.

>Owen has explicitly said he had no issue with criticism.
Yet, he's blocking everyone out for his "mental health". Sure thing, buddy.

>Owen is doing the latter.
He isn't. Read better, a friend is giving him the gist of it.
>And I'm pointing out Owen is being overly fragile
Again, no he isn't. He know his own limitation and act accordingly, this is the healthy thing to do. That's not what being fragile is. And again there is no reson to get upset about it. why is it such a big issue to you?

>Why do you care what I think?
Because you make a big deal out of someone acting reasonably and even rely on half-truth to be negative about him. This raise question. It's not a conversation stopper. you seems to make a big deal out of him and twists fact, why is it so important to you you raly on that.

>Yet, he's blocking everyone
No,he isn't. Read better. Using a friend as a way to handle feedback is not blocking.

>Using a friend to digest any feedback of the show and re-distribute in a manner that won't "trigger him" because he can't handle looking at it himself isn't fragile

He's literally making a safe space.

You act as if you were entitled creator's attention and they own to their audience to interact with them. They don't. Whether you want to engage back with someone or not is your choice, not something you own to someone first approaching you.

>Putting words in my mouth

I can call him a pussy, that doesn't mean I feel entitled to his attention. That just means I think he's a pussy he has to announce to everyone he's going to mute out his fans because he can't handle it.

>and re-distribute in a manner that won't "trigger him"
Not what he said. you are not relying on baseless accusation.

again, why is it such a big deal to you, you need to rely on speculation and misinterpretation to insult the guy. Not a conversation ender one does not do this without a reason.

Why is it such a big deal to you that I care? If the guy feels it's important enough to post that he's doing that, why am I not allowed to comment on it?

>I can call him a pussy,
When it is a false thing to say, you rather shoudln't. Knowing your limit is not the same as acting like a pussy.

>he's going to mute out his fans
Again he is not. Read better, he will still care about feedback and will affect the workload of collecting it to a friend. When you receive tons of it, that's actually a good thing to do.

>I'm going to mute everything related to it
>I'm going to have friends give me the gist of it all

That is grade-A pussy. This is a guy who goes on 3AM rants about how cartoons are miracles, he's clearly insecure beyond a reasonable level.

>Why is it such a big deal to you that I care?
Because you rely on half truth and missinterpretation and twisting meaning to express negativity about a guy who is aware of what impact social media has on him. Going to such an extent raise my curiosity.

>Why am I not allowed to comment on it?
This is not about being allowed or not, it's about the comment itself. Never say you weren't. What raise question is your insistence to paint someone negatively whereas he hasn't done objectively anything to deserve it so.

See
There is no misinterpretation from me at all. He straight up says he's going to mute EVERYTHING. He can't even handle accidentally coming across fanart and has to have that delivered to him via friends. You're one the giving him way more of a benefit of a doubt.

>That is grade-A pussy.
Again, no, it isn't. knowing your limit is not being a pussy. Why do you insist of making it sound negative when it is actually a rather healthy decision?

>This is a guy who goes on 3AM rants about how cartoons are miracles, he's clearly insecure beyond a reasonable level.
Not really. All he did was say how impressed he is by all the work required behind animation. That means he love that medium, not that he is insecure. Again, you are trying to twist the meaning of what he say. why?

>knowing your limit is not being a pussy.
When your limit is "anything", yes, it is.

>Why do you insist of making it sound negative when it is actually a rather healthy decision?
Cutting out every single person and hiding from the world is not a healthy decision.

>There is no misinterpretation from me at all.
There is. see >He straight up says he's going to mute EVERYTHING.
No he doesn't. he literally say he will still get the feedback. That is not what muting is.learn the meaning of words.

> He can't even handle accidentally coming across fanart
That is not what it is about an never was.

> You're one the giving him way more of a benefit of a doubt.
I am simply getting what I am reading.

>he literally say he will still get the feedback
From FRIENDS. Friends who can pick and choose what to tell him.

>When your limit is "anything",
It isn't.
>Cutting out every single person
He doesn't. Read better. getting their feedback literally means he is not cutting them out.

So what is there to complain about?

You don't know his friends nor how they will do it.

>When your limit is "anything",

Attached: retard.png (750x700, 156K)

He's clearly so fragile that he needs them to spit back out anything people might say when talking about Infinity Train. I'm gonna guess they're going to be on the delicate side with insecurities that high.

I like how you ignore the second part. If he is getting feedback, it is not "everything.

And again, there is nothing wrong with doing what he is doing. Knowing your limit and acting on it is what any sound person should do. Social media IS consuming and he has work to do.

>He's clearly so fragile
Again, baseless accusation. circular logic won't help you.

> they're going to be on the delicate side with insecurities that high.
You still ahven't established he is insecure, you need to do that first.

He's asking friends to go through it for him and "give him the gist of it". He is unironically making a safe space and it's hysterical you're defending it.

>You still ahven't established he is insecure
I circled it. You should also be familiar with his "cartoons are miracles" meltdown earlier in the thread.

That's two more points to me as evidence he is insecure, you have yet to prove he isn't.

Attached: south-park-s19e05c08-im-overloaded_16x9.jpg (960x540, 69K)

>He's asking friends to go through it for him and "give him the gist of it". He is unironically making a safe space
That's not what making safe space is. Objectively, what it does is make it less time consuming, which it can be, a lot.

>and it's hysterical you're defending it.
I am not defending safe place, I am telling you you are mistaken to think it is in the first place.

>I circled it.
What you did is ingore the part tjhat invalidate your point.

>ou should also be familiar with his "cartoons are miracles"I am fully aware of it. It's basically how he think making a cartoon is an amazing processn where he literally say that of course it should be critisized, but then a bunch of morons made a point of ignoring that and thinking he was saying they were not allowed to critisize him, which was the literal opposite of what he said. The meltdown reaction he got ou of that what always quaint.

>That's two more points to me as evidence he is insecure
And I just showed you none of them are valid. Hence you have nothing, so why are you making such a big issue out of nothing, why are you creating complains ex-nihilo?

>He's asking friends to go through it for him and "give him the gist of it".
That's literally no different than sorting the fanmails. you are not proving insecurity, there.

>That's literally no different than sorting the fanmails
Celebrities do that when they get overwhelmed with the sheer amount they can't fit it in their schedule. They don't do it because they can't bare to read it. You really think Infinity Train is going to get such massive amounts of traffic that he has to resort to friends doing the legwork for him?

>That's not what making safe space is.
It objectively is.

You have yet to prove me wrong other than saying "nuh uh". Try again.

Fuckin' lmao thanks for the reminder. I laughed my ass off at that collage back in 2015.

>Celebrities do that when they get overwhelmed with the sheer amount they can't fit it in their schedule.
Which is literally the case, there
>hey don't do it because they can't bare to read it.
Which isn't the reason
>You really think Infinity Train is going to get such massive amounts of traffic that he has to resort to friends doing the legwork for him?
From what I have seen before? yes, combined with him having to do his work, which is quite time consuming too.

>It objectively is.
It objectively isn't. He is still getting feedbacks.

>You have yet to prove me wrong other than saying "nuh uh".
user, you are the one accusing him of being fragile and building a safe place, you are the want who need to bring the indisputable evidences, not me.

>Still going NUH UH

I can circle exact moments where he states how insecure he is. Why can't you prove otherwise?

>You have yet to prove me wrong
Baseless accusation and speculation do'nt need tobe proven wrong, they need to be proven true first.
