That's their problem
They *almost* had everything.
What they truly want is to rule over a kingdom however they see fit.

jafar was a dumbass who wanted power and succeed, but gave it all up, and why? because he was horny. and went power hungry and spent more time making puns than thinking. next, scar. scar was a lion version of jafar who was also a dumbass who let his power let go because he got power hungry.

ruling a kingdom is a pain in the neck though
why would anyone want such a responsibility

Funny thing is that Scar realizes that when he takes over. He gets bored as hell and the kingdom falls to ruin.

Jafar got magic powers though, so it's understandable why he hadn't gotten bored yet.

Jafar also didn't rule a couple of months over his kingdom.

Greed. Having almost everything isn't enough.

Funny how the entirety of Lion King's story could be avoided if Scar had some insight on what a king actually does and learn what positions would give him true power without upsetting the balance or murdering family.

If so, Scar would make a good runner of a secret-police of hyenas that silence those that seek to take the throne themselves. Wouldn't be as well liked as Mufasa, but he sure as hell would garner fear and respect without all the pressures and boredom of being a king.

He could have even started manipulating simba when he became an adult and ruler, staying in the shadows while Simba does all of scar's whims for him without realizing it. He easily did so to him as a kid, after all.

Someone like you who has nothing could never understand the pain of almost having it all, but NOT having it all.

The first one is a look, the second one is a muslim and muslims have no soul

They never mentioned religion in the film.

yes they did.
>"by allah"-thief
>"allah forbid you have any daughters"-sultan
>"by allah, this is quite a remarkable device"-sultan
>"Ha Ha, praise allah"-sultan

Yes, they did say "Allah" a couple of times but otherwise made no explicit reference towards Islam whatsoever. It's like an exclamatory "Oh my God!". Don't think too hard about it.

Muslims worship literally the same god as Christians.

Regardless of the religion of the otehr character, Jafar is clearly an ungodly evil wizard, not an adherent of Islam.

No they don't
That's like saying that if I wrote a harry potter fiction then my character is the same as the canon harry from the books

Jehovah and allah are different gods

Aladdin takes place in pre islamic arabia

Then why did they mention Allah all the time?

For the same reason they created a song called 'What Made the Red Man Red', they didn't bother to study the history of a culture they were using in their film

Not sure if baiting a Trump post...

Really though some people/animals just want more because they think they can do it better or have good ideas. Almost any world leader in the world could have choose not to become a leader and stay very well off.

you absolute brainlets omg
the term allah was used before islam even existed
Muhammad's father's name was abdallah, which means servant of allah

Allah means 'the god', it seemed to be a term for an almighty deity, maybe he was part of the polytheistic arabian folklore or maybe it was used by the jews and christians of the time as an equivalent of Elohim

Probably both

because aladdin's representation of the middle east is as authentic as a middle east restaurant

Care to tell us how arabia was in the 1st century CE then smartypants ?

>Jehovah and allah are different gods

You're a fucking idiot. "Allah" is just a title meaning "the god", and Arabic-speaking Christians use the term as well.

As for their gods being different beings/characters... They may be vastly different interpretations of the same entity (though I think they're more similar than you're willing to admit, personally). However, God explicitly has the same history, performs the same acts, and has the same prophets and commandments in both religions up to a point. The main differences only really relate to whether Christ is God Incarnate or just an especially holy prophet, and whether Mohamed and his deeds are legitimate.

You litteral imbecile

In the english language, if you use allah then it's to refer specifically to the islamic god, not the one from the Bible

And again, I don't care what moslems believe, the one from the Bible and the one from the qu'ran are TWO different people

Yes jews and christians use allah in their arabic language, but in this case it's to refer to the one we call God in english

Stop being a buffoon

And moreover God and Christ aren't the same people, the trinity doctrine is a pagan concept that was adopted by constantine and the apostate bishops

>I don't care what moslems believe
>even if what they believe is the same stuff I believe, for the vast majority of the history of both our faiths, including doing all the same stuff, empowering all the same people, and bringing Jesus back to life in teh final days to end the world in the same way

>In the english language, if you use allah then it's to refer specifically to the islamic god, not the one from the Bible
>Yes jews and christians use allah in their arabic language, but in this case it's to refer to the one we call God in english

I mean, you're not wrong that the only people that really deliberately use the Arabic word for God in an otherwise English sentence are Muslims. But they also both believe Jehovah is one of the many names of their God, so your initial phrasing and claims are still fucking dumb.

Might as well say Mormons worship an entirely different god.

>scar don't exile simba
>instead become his ""advisor""

>Might as well say Mormons worship an entirely different god.

They do, what's your point ?

Jeepers, it's almost like villains are usually written with fatal personality flaws.

it's just hunger for power, often going with psychosis
Also Jafar was more so focused on making it suitable for himself while Scar just wanted to rule and couldnt get much out of it without magic
