Welcome to Day Two of the Storytime Weekend of Pain. Now, with correct Subject Line! Time to wake you up from your Post-Eisner's Hangover, with some hair of the dog that bit you.
From the mind of Tom King, within the Eisner-Award Winning run of Batman: A story that will put Booster Gold in the center of the DC Universe for years to come! One that will reintroduce the character to general audiences in a way that will make everyone want to read more stories about him! Right?
Uh, anyone?

Thank you for linking to other SoP in the OP, not sure why most people aren't doing it this year.

So, why exactly did Bane do this again? Booster Gold was traumatized, but how does Batman and Catwoman hearing this story second-hand benefit the master plan? Keep in mind, Bane was risked the stability of the space-time continuum and his own existence for this.
Brayden Thomas
He's a genius-level tactician with olympic-level brain wrinkles.
Carson Cook
This page is so fucked up, how did DC thought that the man that wrote this page was the right one to do HiC? "Hey suicide is kind of awesome, JK don't kill yourselves even if you just killed all the heroes near you"
Matthew Brooks
Has anyone asked King why this happened? Dick apparently never got turned away from revenge by Bruce, yet somehow ended up Bat-themed
Henry Bailey
Jokerized I think, he does seem very happy
Henry Hughes
Wait, so it's his birthday and his parents' anniversary at the same time?
Xavier Green
I want to punch King in the throat
Ryan Morgan
I liked this arc cause I thought it was darkly hilarious but I have no idea how much that was intentional considering the followup Heroes in Crisis is too serious
Pretty sure King said on twitter that was a fuck up that was gonna get fixed for the trade
Jayden Torres
UP YOU GO

As somebody who loved For The Man Who Has Everything, this recap makes me want to hurt King.
A lot.
Elijah Hernandez
suicide lol
Dominic Evans
Since the storytime is over, post yfw King took home an armful of Eisner Awards, including Best Writer this year.
I like to think it ties to Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader sendoff. No matter the universe or timeline, there's always a Gotham, and there's always a Batman.
Xavier Jenkins
I don't think this was that bad desu. The story's edgy as fuck and some of the alt timeline shit is corny but it's not a terrible read. Very in character for Booster
Dylan Scott
I for one liked the idea of an actually crazy catwoman that only speaks in meows
Carter Sanchez
UP
Tyler Carter
Why the fuck did booster put fucking knives in that costume? He had to know she's bat shit insane.
Luke Lewis
>BENDIS IS COMING! Was this a warning or a threat?
Angel Nelson
He was fucking rewarded for writing this shit?! I've met drunks who can tell better more coherent stories.
