Remember when we got mad back when Ant-Man came out and we were upset about Old Man Pym? Yet he's arguably the most based version of the character ever to exist.

He fact that Tony and Banner didn't even think of it but electric engineer Scott Lang was able to suggest it means Ant-Man is the best hero.

I mean that's mainly because writers in the 70s & 80s couldn't figure out what to do with him and they had to retcon the writers radically changing him every couple years, into the character himself being schizo. Really sloppy IMO

It was something that was way out of Banner's wheelhouse at that. People lament that Hulk didn't do shit because he didn't tard rage or get his "revenge" against Thanos, who was already established at being better than him, despite doing the most impactful thing with the gauntlet by bringing everybody back.

I thought it was pretty clear that time travel was an idea he tinkered with during the time skip but having Pym particles made him take one more crack at it.

his Friday holo table has time travel schematics tests already to go. tony exhausted every possible solution he could then was content with his family life until scott came back and refocused him

Every jump in time they made was a separate timeline they fucked up. They don't care about the integrity of those timelines beyond keeping the Ancient One in there happy.

He escaped from a holding cell, whether Pym later decides to not press charges is immaterial. He's no longer in trouble for B&E but is in even bigger trouble for escaping from police custody.
