That had Kamala Khan x Reverse Flash, my OTP

That's a lot of shitty fetish comics

Channel tans

First of all, fuck you for dissing LMAC.

Secondly, would that Ruber sing-along count?

Every comic in the "How's your webcomic" threads.

>Complaining that LMAC is "lol so random"

Look pal, where do you think we are?
I don't get why there are so many people that dismiss LMAC because its "random humor", like what did you expect? Its a fucking Yea Forums project where the panels converted to posts, this entire site is a bunch of has-beens and losers that get their satisfaction out of inside jokes and useless discussions about "how my anime is better than yours" or "REEEEEEEEE BLACK ARIEL"

>B-b-but Yea Forums made the 4u album, Yea Forums made Keit-ai and Yea Forums made Katawa Shoujo

Did you even play Katawa Shoujo? Mediocre is the best compliment you can give and even then it wasn't Yea Forums that made it but rather a very niche group of people whilst Yea Forums would either support it or have retards shitting up the threads because they were "off-topic" like in Yea Forumsco/ (something similar to the Bowsette meme during its boom)

Keit-Ai never happened and the "PV" wasn't animated by Yea Forums but was rather a supercut of a lot of Shinkai movies with one frame done very amateurly

Also, you talk shit about our "lol so random" stuff but the fucking Bane album gets a pass? (Same album that loses its novelty really quick since they run out of ideas and the tunes aren't even that good?) Piss off.

Even the "porn script" done by Yea Forums that was picked up by Brazzers was essentialy just LMAC but porno (Not to mention a brazilian site called "Nao Salvo" did the EXACT SAME thing ages ago before Brazzers even approached Yea Forums)

>Ruber Sings
>LMAC (because that shit is amazing, fuck off with your bad tastes OP)
>The Band Geeks comic

The hell is LMAC?

Look, Yea Forums is infamous for being made up of lazy shitheads who'd rather whine about off-topic nonsense than actually do anything related to comics or cartoons, but LMAC and are steps in the right direction.

Let's Make A Comic

A 400+ page comic that Yea Forums made and OP is being a goal post moving faggot.

The trouble with so many Yea Forums projects is that even when they get places they're almost never brought to conclusion. This is because none of us ever wants to be the one who says, "We've done enough, let's call it finished," so we all persist in the project without setting an end date, and then as more time passes all of us inevitably get bored and abandon the project. How many Yea Forums projects actually finished? Wolfbatman didn't. The future Earth Avatar project didn't. Channel tans didn't. They all just kept going and going, until one day, they didn't.

I never paid much attention to channel-tans, but my impression is it was all just SoL stuff and that sort of thing never actually has an ending.

If you ever want something to have an ending, you should come up with the ending first and then just go hog wild on the way to the ending.

Plenty of comics in the /hyw/ threads. And LMAC may be autistic, but at least its Yea Forums coming together to make something instead of bitching or just infinite begging from "idea guys" for once.

The thing is /ctg/ would still be around if it weren't for an obsessed autist from Russia stalking all the artists and running the general into the ground with multiple IPs. Yea Forums still has their -tans, so it didn't have to end. There just would've been a drop in activity.

I think more than any other board Yea Forums is the one that refuses to count its accomplishments.
It doesn't matter how many comics or collabs we do, for some reason niggers like OP always gotta crab bucket and make up a reason why it doesn't count.
Our greatest accomplishment is downplaying our accomplishments.

But that's the nature of our board's content.
Superman is 80+ years old and still going.
The Simpsons' zombie corpse is still shuffling along longer than half this board has been alive.
Introducing this extra rule that we need conclusions is kind of counter to what we're here to discuss and just another caveat to make sure the list of things that counts remains at 0.

/hyw/ represent
we make pretty gud comics

So it was sort of a spin-off of console-tans?

And then there's the stuff that spontaneously revives every so many months, like The Developing Adventures of Golden Girl. It stays dormant for months or even years, then there's another surge of comics.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ennui GO! get started in one of those threads?
That's the longest webcomic I can think of that has any association with /hyw/.

What gets me is when people say other boards like Yea Forums do it better, but when you do research you find out it was actually one guy doing all the work and just getting ideas from threads. At least Yea Forums people come together to make something, even if they dont last long as pointed out. Most projects just have a natural death where it just stops do to old age, doesn't mean they just don't count though.
Also if we want to go the way of the Yea Forums example, technically Golden Girl started on Yea Forums and had a comic be actually released.
I still dont understand why you'd make the story of a girl with gigantic tits sfw

>And then there's the stuff that spontaneously revives every so many months, like The Developing Adventures of Golden Girl. It stays dormant for months or even years, then there's another surge of comics.
It's got a dozen comics done, a short audio play, a minus8 animation, ran a successful kick starter, and is constantly attracting new fan art and drawfags from offsite.
So naturally it doesn't count because "fetish' and "Waifu".. Gotta move them goalposts

>So it was sort of a spin-off of console-tans?
The main three (CN, Nick, Disney) were the result of a drawthread request and anons took it from there.

There's no "technically" about Golden Girl since Yea Forums is still making comics about her.
The kickstarter folks are dong their own thing and Yea Forums is still action upon the original "vision" of the character.

A fuck huge pastebin with dozens of scripts/idea notes and just a month or two ago some drawfags thought "Yeah, I'm gonna draw this." and GG's back to being relevant outside of porn again for however long that lasts.

Yea Forums made a game once, right? One that isn't Katawa Shoujo, I mean.

Even the kickstarter thing is arguable because a lot of those names are people that either were actively involved here or still are.

I don't really follow the GG stuff that doesn't happen in the /coc/ threads, so I wouldn't know much about it.
Most I've heard is the GG kickstarter content has a bunch of crossovers with Panda or Powergirl which just strikes me as odd.

Basically the guy that did the first volume of that comic got his info second hand via stuff like /aco/ which loves adding in Panda and Power Girl.
But even then he hired Van to draw it and Van is a Yea Forums drawfag.
After the criticism that he'd missed the point badly, he apparently hired Saburo-X to write the comic that was actually kickstarted and act as an editor to make sure it was in keeping with Yea Forums's guidelines.

>but when you do research you find out it was actually one guy doing all the work and just getting ideas from threads. At least Yea Forums people come together to make something
Collabs are not remotely exclusive to Yea Forums
youtube.com/watch?v=MwXgmXr4ZkA
youtube.com/watch?v=VTx0709z2Ao
youtube.com/watch?v=gz3EGimG0Ek

It did! I don't think the guy really posts it here any more, but the comic got its start on Yea Forums.

Well good for them.

I'm just wondering if Hagfish and those other guys burned themselves out on GG for a while after making the SoS and Iron Girl comics.

More like this place is full of talentless hacks that their sole skill is being an idea guy while other people do the actual work, then they come and say "we did this, bro". Even /tg/ in their current dead-like state is miles above Yea Forums
