>green lantern's movie cred still didn't recover since his last big screen outing and he's basically toxic to the big studios
>but his animated movies were moderately well received and liked him in Lego Movie
>and people really enjoyed Lego Batman
Lego Green Lantern in movie theaters when?
Green lantern's movie cred still didn't recover since his last big screen outing and he's basically toxic to the big...
Never
It would have to be a Lego Superman movie with Green Lantern
Lego Batman didn't even do that well. After Lego 2 bombed I doubt they're in any rush to push more movies.
>Lego Green Lantern in movie theaters
Lego movies are ded.
>Superman/Green Lantern buddy comedy
>and it's Lego!
We've struck gold boys.
Isn’t there already going to be a ‘Green Latern Corps.’ movie?
Also Green Latern NEEDS a good, blockbuster movie to ‘override’ the shitty Ryan Reynolds version. It worked with the Hulk.
Also, I don’t like how modern moves keep making fun of the Green Latern movie. Deadpool and Teen Titans Go movie. Like, enough already.
>but his animated movies were moderately well received and liked him in Lego Movie
He was a minor mini-fig in a Lego sequel that made less money than the original and it's previous sequel. No one was shouting, let's do a Lantern Lego movie afterwards.
Also, his animated movie was so "successful" they made several sequels, amirite?
Deadpool has a free pass to make fun of Green Lantern as much as they want.
They will make them, they will just make them with a smaller budget. The problem with the proper sequel was that the Batgod movie didn't make as much money as everyone was claiming it would, being stupid and deluded batwankers and general idiots for the others, and that no one really wanted a sequel that continued on the ideas from the first film.
>already going
This idiot certainly hopes so, he's not content with the millions he's bilked out of WB
Okay, but WB should stop reminding people how bad it was.
>Lego Batman didn't even do that well.
It did well enough, not as good as the LEGO movie, but still good.
Now Ninjago and LEGO movie 2 were the ones that didn't do so hot.
They made a sequel to his movie, yes.
>Like, enough already.
I bet that's how aquafags felt about the "talks to fish XD" jokes.
People were just sick of bland CGI, the trailers had bland CGI and everyone knows that a Lanterns Ring powers would have to rely on good CGI. They should've made a Lantern movie in the early 00s when the effects would've been more impressive
Why the fuck did they make a Ninjago movie? The show wasnt even running at the time.
WB is doing no such thing
nope
Hulk was salvaged by being included with the Avenger cross-over movies in the MCU
Yes?
>Two examples in eight years
>ENOUGH ALREADY
2003 Hulk was way better than MCU Hulk
It's so fucking hard to find GL merch now. The movie bombing killed that and it annoys me. Not to mention the movie killed the GL cartoon which was better than anyone expected it to be.
lego batman was kino
Not only that, they said fuck you to the fans by having a different continuity. Like, who the fuck did they make it for?
>Why the fuck did they make a Ninjago movie?
The toy line has been extremely popular for the better part of a decade.
Not him, but that's not a sequel to First Flight.
On a tangent, both were way better than the live action. I have a theory that the ratio of creative personnel involved is significantly lower for live action production vs animated production.
