I do not want real world politics in the show.
But I would like a show that is about "rebellion" show also the darker aspects of it.

You know the old saying "Once rebellion is the other sides terroristic uprising?"

We know not really much about how in the world of Amphibia society is structured aside of a few basics (toads are obviously military folks, frogs mostly peasants) and considering that the show did imo an okay job to show that in their own way toads can be slightly decent (a lack of maliciousness coming from some of Grime's soldiers, the obvious fact that yes, a certain amount of military harshness is needed to survive in a world as deadly as Amphibia) and seeing how the show does not seem to paint Grime is too one dimensional as a villain, I would like it if there are also a few more facetts to the social conflict than "frogs good, toads bad, Newts elves".

And one thing that could contribute in a story about rebellion to that if it is shown that there are good AND bad people on both sides.
I said "antifa-frogs" but that was essentially just as a basic stand in for "rebels who use their supposed cause just as an excuse to give into their own vileness".

How many people were expecting Sasha to betray Grime in the season finale? While it could possibly happen in the future, the finale and this little bonus scene looks to establish them as legitimate allies maybe even friends.

We'll probably have to wait for the official tumblr of the crew to get to the toad tower episode. They seem to be giving in depth details about every episode on a weekly basis. Which makes the bomb format a little bit of a shame because it would have been nice if these got posted soon after an episode aired.

There's really something to wonder how the rest of the series would go if HopPop HAD died there. He's the only one that knows where the box is buried, that it's buried at all. And while there might be some magic possible to look for it, that's a whole additional problem
It's a decent alternate universe since it really shakes up things to where you have no idea how it would play out from there

It would require someone with knowledge of it other than the girls to come looking for it, probably someone with a vested interest in them being in Amphibia in the first place.
The emotional impact would be more significant, though. Anne, Sprig and Polly losing someone deeply important to them, due in part to the treachery of one of Anne's two best friends, to say nothing of how the other frogs in Wartwood and the valley would take it.

I hope Sasha manages to work on her issues and Anne and her can rekindle their friendship on healthier terms all while bringing peace, brotherhood and prosperity to all these little weird reptile people.

We'll probably see her learning to be a better companion during her time with the toads. She gets along well enough with them as a manipulator, but there's room for her to develop genuine friendships in the same way Anne has with the frogs. And there's already a level of respect/camaraderie between her and Grime, so that's only likely to grow from here.
