Show caught me in that phase in the early 2010s where after enjoying Adventure Time so much I would tune into literally any new show coming out on the channel., not to mention prior knowledge of the series via the TV specials and the sets which some of my younger cousins had. I stopped watching after the the stone soldiers and golden ninja stuff because they seemed to make it pretty clear that that was supposed to be the end.
Then Lego decided to keep the IP going and as such the show kept on. I hear about it now and again and man it sounds even more stupid than some of the older stuff was in hindsight. How does one go from fighting skeletons and snake people to fighting robot ninjas and ghost pirates? I'm very pleased I stayed away.
