My big hope: Story!Loki turns out to have been split into a separate person when they skipped out on the end of the universe, leading them to coexist with Teen Loki when the universe snapped back to pre-Secret Wars. The two then end up merging into a New Loki, thereby retroactively making it so that Aaron didn't ruin him.

The movie universe is what's coloring people's perception of characters nowadays, so people getting into the comics would be upset or confused if they came from the movies and found him to be pure evil.

An convoluted event called "The Crossing happened where it was revealed Tony had been evil and working for Kang for several years. To keep his secret he killed two Avengers and some other stuff that ultimately doesn't matter.
So with this being both a late nineties comic and a Kang The Conqueror story, the Avengers bring back a Teen Tony from the past to stop him (he doesn't, he just gets his heart ripped out and spends the rest of the story K.O.'d)
So after all that there was period where Teen Tony was the now MC (Barely 10 issues) Onslaught happened and he went a parallel world where he was an adult again. After which was brought back by Franklin Richards and fused with his Teen self.
