Have them feel like an outsider for a few episodes, not getting along with the Edboys for being forced into being friends and them having already having shared history and the Peach Creek kids for outing them. After awhile, they begin to bond with the Eds and ease into being actual friends. Eddy would probably be the most sympathetic to them and they become a liason between the two groups.
