It ended. Then Fred went on to make traps not gay in
It ended
It ended
It ended with a setup for another season that will never be made
Wasn't there some autistic theory of being prequel to original Scooby Doo series?
Was there?
Always assumed it was a sequel, seeing as the museum Velma's family runs is full of monster suits from the original series
Also there's that short conversation Fred and Daphne have about Scrappy
Or other way around, now when you mention it... Anyway, some autist created a "timeline" of scooby doo series.
Oh well, can't find it though, so nevermind.
It exists on the Dreamtime.
The theory was that they changed history so their hometown no longer existed, so they decided to drive to a certain place and solve every mystery along the way. And then the original cartoon happened.
I liked it, it fit with the theme of the rest of the show.
Nothing autistic, the implication at the end is that the original series depicted their road trip to Miskatonic in the new timeline all along.
Well, the way the show ended, their home timeline was wiped out, and they wound up in a new world, homeless and alone, and setting out on an adventure together. I don't think that there's any way for the classic series to actually follow from those events since otherwise you'd logically expect the characters in the 1960s series to have been talking about their home timeline, which obviously they didn't.
I think it's more like the series ended in such a way as to set these characters on a similar path to what we saw in the original series. Disconnected wanderers who only have one another and their lust for adventure, mystery and food. It's more like an homage to the original series than a prequel to it in this sense, I think.
It was too good for this world.
This show raped scooby doo and ruined it forvere. Mistery Inc should be forgotten.
you totally missed how the last episode set up Scooby Doo Where Are You? down the minute? it even included the laugh track at the end and clarified where the hell they were going: to harlan ellison's university
That's funny. I actually joined the thread so I could post that it ended.
Sassy Velma was best Velma.
It was supposed to be a set up for another season, since the show did well overseas. It never got picked up for another one, but the producers were happy with how it ended.
