Beast Boy was the only person Raven could have ended up with. Raven will not initiate emotional connections, she wants them, but is too afraid of her emotions to try and make them. She pushes everyone away as a defense mechanism, but BB was the only boy who wouldn't let her do that to herself. Sure, the others would try to include her, but only on the rare occasions she would come to them, Beast Boy was the only one who would go to her and force her to feel emotions. Raven never would have initiated a relationship with someone on her own, and Beast Boy was the only one willing to wade into the dark to find her.
