They technically existed when Jack went back to the past to strike the final blow. As soon as Jack kills Aku, yes technically billions and trillions of people would have died, because they knew about Jack when he was in the future.

Keyword is existed. As soon as Aku is cut down, that timeline fades away. it's complete nonexistence. If anything he's saved infinite amounts of people by killing Aku. Keeping him from conquering the world & multiple planets.
