There are two options, really. Either the girls end up becoming enemies or get reunited. The latter option will involve them siding with either the frogs or toads (should Anne discover how HP had wronged her).
Good writing, good pacing, awesome, fun, relatable characters whose various quirks are charming and novel rather than cliched, and an emphasis on gags and laugh over lore, tho there is a bit of lore.

Season 1 was ok, watchable enough. Season 2 was great, the best one if you ask me. Season 3 went from good to mediocre, fast. Season 4 is utter crap nobody should watch.
Sasha brings order to the chaos of this world and drags its people to glory whether they want it or not.
Anne becomes a vagabond after seeing one friend become the right hand of a dictator, and declares that she's going to find Marcy in her own way. HP decides to reveal the true nature of the box to her before she leaves, but finds out that it's already been stolen by someone.

The little bits of "lore" we have been getting are pretty intriguing, but it's not the main focus so the characters themselves get to shine.
