Best I can say for right now is go to the /ic/ sticky, it has a lot of helpful things to get you started.
And don't forget to practice everyday.
But make sure you have a focus point in your practicing.
Like if you're trying to get better at anatomy, practice anatomy.
Practicing without a real goal in mind will just lead to bad habits.
