When is clone wars season 7 starting?
When is clone wars season 7 starting?
Imagine Disney not understanding at all or completely missing the point as to why people loved Clone Wars
It was Vietnam but in Space. Arguably the best Action Cartoon from 2008-2012
Its literally just Ahsokawank for kids
No one wanted 8/12 episodes dedicated to one fucking character, with 4 of those being a story that no one wanted to see
Wheres the Sith Shrine arc?
Crystal Crisis?
Like fuck, THE main characters of the entire era (Obi-Wan and Anakin) dont even have an arc
Shit, we're only getting twelve fucking episodes?
Yep, and 8 are dedicated to Ahsoka
This reboot is going to be a trainwreck, and i want to see how far fanboys will go to defend it
>Reboot
Why are you so mad, they're 12 episodes that were already planned and written, that we previously just werent getting.
You're not losing anything here.
Umbara maybe, but the war as a whole? no way
Why not do all the seasons they wanted to? The Mouse has the money.
I want good stories instead of blatant oversaturation of his waifu by filoni
Keeping her alive in rebels using the most bullshit methods was enough, but now...
Because there was only like 10 arcs left and most of them have already been released via books and comics and shit
If you're really interested in some of those unfinished stories, they're available to you.
The most important arc that was unfinished was the Seige of Mandalore, and we're getting it, so as far as I'm concerned they're getting to end it how it should have been, can't really ask for much more.
I heard the crystal arc on utapau isn't making it in which is disappointing, wish that was coming along
>oversaturation
Ahsoka's barely been in anything since TCW ended though. A few Rebels episodes, and 1 book, and thats it.
And her survival of Rebels was just fine, the lore about Mortis and the force not being restricted to our understanding of linearity and time is perfectly belonging to Star Wars.
I'm glad theres at least one decent light side hero post-ROTJ too, considering Luke got butchered and Rey is a non-character.
The Crystal arc is basically fully available to people though. If anything, I think Bad Batch shouldnt have been included either, they could have gotten one more truly unreleased arc out, like the Boba/Bane one. But I'm thinking they chose Bad Batch because they needed at least one arc actually focused on Clones in their Clone Wars show so in that regard its justifyable.
>Ahsokafag detected
>saying using time travel not hinted at before to save ONE character (which so happens to be the creators pet) and then never mentioning it again, robbing the character of a cinematic death at the hands of their old master, and then having them survive post endor, making lukes journey mean less is "good"
>using time travel not hinted at before
Actually the concept of the force working in non-linear ways has been used many times, but more notably to the conversation, you're a moron.
In Twilight of the Apprentice, Ahsoka and Vader are shown getting locked into the temple. Then in the epilogue theres a shot of her outside the temple, at a different time of day to Vader, very much alive, and walking back inside the temple.
SHE ALWAYS SURVIVED. In the very episode where she was left for dead, it showed her alive, and set up a mystery of her walking back into the temple at night time, while Vader was shown walking out at sunrise.
>using time travel not hinted at before
The Force messing with time was well established before the episode. The Mortis adventure and Luke training on Dagobah for months were the result of time flowing differently through Force nexuses.
Could have been a force vision/ghost/whatever
Ahsoka has ZERO reason to exist during the OT
Obi-wan: "hey luke, go find ahsoka as yoda is old and will die soon"
Its extremely poor writing, defended as the character is jacked off by fanboys
Bad Batch is good for what it is but the ironically triumphant ending is really hobbled by the fact that its coming out separately years after the main show ended, so I kinda agree
Obi-Wan doesn't know Ahsoka is alive. Yoda probably suspects she is dead too, when she went back to Malachor and stepped through a portal as shown in art Filoni drew and released. She dissappeared and wasn't seen again until the Rebels Epilogue.
She has no reason to exist during the OT because as far as we know, she didn't exist during the OT.
Also she can't be a ghost, Filoni has outright confirmed as such. Being a ghost isn't an easy feat that any Jedi can do, theres, as far as we know less than 5 Jedi who ever passed the Priestesses trials to gain the ability to be a ghost after death.
How does Obi-wan know yoda is still alive and on Dagobah?
Yoda never told him
Again, its poor writing
>"woah, this thing in TLJ that was never hinted at or shown before that breaks the canon is bad!"
>"woah? This thing in rebels that was never hinted at or shown before that breaks the canon contains my waifu, so its good!"
>How does Obi-wan know yoda is still alive and on Dagobah?
>Yoda never told him
Pretty sure Qui-Gone told him through the force. Yoda was also astral projecting.
Also;
A) There is literally nothing wrong with introducing new concepts, or expanding on old ones. The time travel stuff in Rebels was just expanding on older concepts developed about the force
B) Don't compare my defense of Rebels to TLJ. TLJ is dogshit and I will not defend it. I defend Rebels because I think Filoni and the creators actually understand and care about Star Wars, and they developed their show to contribute to the universe George built in a way that I have faith that George is happy with. TLJ on the other hand was a smarmy pretentious deconstruction that spit in the face of the fans and the history of the series.
Now you are truly lost
>I will not defend TLJ (by extension hyperspace rammimg) because poor writing
>but ill excuse poor writing in rebels (because it contains my waifu)
SO THIS ISTHE POWER OF THE AHSOKAFAG
Theres nothing to defend. Twilight of the Apprentice showed her alive. She was never dead in that episode, and as such her death was never retconned. Explaining that she did die and was just a ghost at the end would have been a far bigger retcon anyways, because she should not concievably be able to become a ghost.
Yet the Mortis gods have previously been established to operate outside of time, and were hinted in the very episode itself via the Condor. It's clear that this idea was planned and intended for the story. Not sure what more you want from me.
Hyperspace ramming completely fucked up the series forever.
Why did they do it?
>no utapau arc with anakin and obiwan bro-ing it up and grievous being competent
>Why did they do it?
Cool visuals bring in more dollars than meticulous attention to decades of lore and precedent ever will.
>liking the concept of a world between worlds that ties into previously established lore makes one an ahsokafag
>it's poor writing because I say so!
>now watch as I bring up TLJ for no reason!
Holy Space Jesus. I didn't think it possible for someone to have such a non-argument.
Jumping into hyperspace within a planet's atmosphere did way more damage to lightspeed travel lore. Gravitational influences used to be the reason why you couldn't just jump straight from Tatooine to Coruscant or had to be far enough away from a planet before making a jump, but now there's no reason why ships can't immediately escape any space battles whenever they want.
How steep or how deep a gravity well has to be before you're fucked on either the way in or the way out has never been nailed down in canon, user.
I hate the fact that they are spamming the fuck out of ahsoka now. It's honesty sickening. And I like her alot, but making it ALL her is annoying. Im come on I get people like her but she ISNT they reason people stayed and ISNT the biggest highlight from the series. ObiWan, Anakin, Rex/Clones, and Bounty Hunters where the big things people take from this series the most, hex why people bring up Umbara, Mandalor the most. Notice how Ahsoka is part of those events.
And when you look at Season 5 when they started this shit notice how all her arcs where terrible till the final. And Season Six fixed that. Season 7 isnt gonna be all that great. Yes it will be great and feel good to see it back, but the focus of Ahsoka ISNT going to sit well.
I'm honestly more interested in the stories of Ahsoka the white and Ezra the distant than any of the ST characters.
>rex/clone fags and that dumb cunt Sam Witwer got Baker to voice the Clones when Temuerra fucking Morrison came to the studio to voice Fett
>We want more clone customization no Imperial customization they have to be the same to make my clone avatar feel more speshul
You faggots deserve to be flamed on too.
>Yoda never told him
Yoda specifically tasks Obi-Wan with watching over Luke and says that they'll both go into hiding until the time is right. When the Rebel Alliance mobilizes to attack Scarif, Bail Organa, who picked up both Yoda and Kenobi after Order 66 and successfully smuggled them onto Coruscant, is asked to contact his Jedi friend. Kenobi goes to find Luke and discovers the message from Leia in R2-D2, which was specifically brought to Kenobi. Because this is all the will of the living force, Kenobi rolls with it, but later on the Death Star he's killed by Vader, and because he's spent 19 years practicing to be a ghost, becomes a Force Ghost and is subsequently able to both aid Luke in accessing his own innate links to the Force and specifically instruct him to go to the Dagobah system, implying that either Kenobi always knew where Yoda intended to go - Dagobah is a charted world and easy to find, just covered in shit and not particularly worth developing, making it a good hiding spot as the raw Force surrounding it would easily mask Yoda from Vader and Palpatine - or that when he died and became a ghost Kenobi was able to see Yoda because he was on a planet strong in the Force, and thus able to commune with him and relay the name of the planet to Luke.
It's like you didn't even watch these movies.
Probably November when Disney+ launches
>No bounty hunter arc where Boba can finally come up into his own and live up to Jango’s legacy, getting his set of Mando armor. Then kill Bane in a old west stand-off
They never gave an exact number but you had to be a sizable distance away. There was never an instance where you could jump inside an atmosphere.
