they are more likely to recast Peter Parker than ever bring in Miles. Peter is too iconic and makes Disney way too much money on merchandise.

I don't think they'll go the recast route with anyone as established. Evans and RDJ leaving and being somewhat replaced in universe rather than recast hints at that.
