No scene of Violet in a bathing suit.

Starting right where the movie left off yet still having the characters go through very similar or uninspired character motions
Twist villain with a stupid plan (who was still hot when she went Bane mode in the end on the plane)
Too much emphasis on Jack Jack honestly

Everyone says it, there should have been a time skip

Ain't much, but it's more cute violet which is never a bad deal

>voice actress sounds like she is in her 50s.

Geeze louise, the last part of these can all be taken out of context!

Underwhelming story that rehashes the original. A fanfic writer could’ve come up with something better.

How was that rock you've been living under?

>pet danderrr

Adorable.

Too much time had passed since they made the first one.

If they had started work on it after the first movie, instead of waiting until Bird was forced into it, the movie would have been a lot more successful.

I got nothing to complain about. That movie gave us a great load of fine fan art.

>In Incredibles 3 Violet uses her psychic powers to make toys come to life

that's now how it works
that's now how any of this works

even her mom's "special toys"?

The film felt like a pilot movie for a TV show.

People demanded it and Pixar caved instead of understanding that sometimes, it's better to leave the audience wanting more.

The villain was just a retread of Syndrome (betrayed by superheroes a long time ago so now she hates then) without the charisma, and her plan didn't really make any sense
>Heroes are already illegal, so now I'm going to make it so heroes are SUPER illegal

My niece has one of those from the Incredibles toy set collection. The paint chips fucking instantly, the doll is currently missing her face and logo after just a couple of weeks of stretching and general kid roughhousing.

seemed kinda lazy even though it was well made. Brad's heart wasn't in it. I assume he only made it to get out of Director's jail after TomorrowLand.
all the new characters were really uninspired in their design (even if that portal girl had a cool power)
I liked the IDEA of focusing on the mom as the first movie was about fatherhood.
didn't really work though

1) Helen is too flawless as a character. Even in a movie that's supposed to be about her, we have to switch back to Bob learning how to be a better father to see character growth.

2) The villain is shit with an extremely stupid, unnecessary backstory. "We don't need heroes anymore/relying on them is bad" is already a perfectly reasonable motive without dead parents. Naming her "Evil Endeavor" makes audience of all ages feel like the movie is treating them like they're retarded.

3) The Jack Jack joke was beaten into the ground. It was funny in the first movie, so funny they made an extra short. The 2nd movie sacrifices tons of time just to tell it over and over again.

Not enough f/f scenes of Helen with Evelyn and the skinny portal nerd

Everyone was expecting a sequel in which there was a time jump

Not enough WINSTON

screen slaver name doesn't even fit in the Incredibles 1950/60s art deco universe.
I guess it could have been about newer heroes/villains taking the place of out dated incredibles
but doesn't really factor into the movie

whats next for Brad??? did he get 1906 for making incredibles 2??
>wants to make expensive 1906
>but Bird...tomorrowland flopped
>FINE...i'll make incredibles 2

he should direct superman

Brad Bird is directing a musical for Sony.

Not innovative or creative enough. After dark knight, birdman, deadpool, avengers, spider verse, the generic capeshit is tiresome. I don't think pixar will ever take risks anymore. Sony and Netflix are where the good shit gets made nowadays.
>its not a BAD movie, not even the worst they've put out lately.
>There's so little feature length animation every year you can't be too picky in this hobby.

Sony is a goddamn cartoon in real life
have you seen their internal email leaks?

>After dark knight, birdman, deadpool, avengers, spider verse, the generic capeshit is tiresome
I think this could have been a chance for the Incredibles 2 to deliver some interesting commentary about superheroes and do something with the genre we haven't seen already, but it basically just told us the same stuff we already saw and knew about from Incredibles 1.

What I don't get is how thoroughly underwhelming it was. For YEARS Brad Bird said that he would never make an Incredibles sequel unless he thought up a really great idea for it. So finally he does it, and this is what we get?
