my theory is that the Cass who came from the magic disembodied door from the house of yesterday's tomorrow was NOT the real Cass. There was zero explanation to that entire scene where she entered the mysterious room. We are left with no information as to what was inside there. Also we know that the doors can be made, removed, and relocated as they please because the front door to the place was just plain gone at one point, and we saw mirror clones of them who took that place to endanger the rest of the group.

I wonder what forces, what magic, would be at work in a Tangled/Frozen crossover. It seems like Frozen 2 is going to involve either seasons magic (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter) or four elements magic, while Tangled has more life/death, healing/hurting type magic. This means they could conceivably exist in the same universe, since neither property steps on the other's toes as far as its magic is concerned.

Well, she took the moonstone. So she's got to be the best of something now. When you think about it that way, can you blame her for taking it? It's not like Rapunzel owned it. You know, we thought that this was just kind of one last gasp of her healing powers. But with what the show has done, what if this was an expression of the fact that the Sundrop's power has left a permanent mark on her? Maybe Raps is always going to have the Sundrop's power coursing through her. She might not always have her hair, but the Sundrop is bonded to her, so maybe it might express its power in other ways. Can Rapunzel ever truly get rid of the Sundrop?

This is like the only problem I had with S2. Nothing happened in all the time they were away? Surely a guy like that has connections.

We still don't know what happened in Corona when Raps is not here. Maybe it will be revealed in S3 if they return to Corona.

I heard a fan theory is when her hair was cut off, Raps cannot cast the healing spell through the hair, but it doesn't mean the sun drop is gone forever. When her tear drops onto Eugene's face, it means she transferred the healing part of sun drop to Eugene to revive him, but the potential of the resting sun drop power is still sleeping inside Raps until she touches the black rock from the moonstone to awake it. There is an evidence to prove Eugene still has sun drop power inside him. Every time before Raps cast her protective hair shield, she did hold Eugene's hand and it seems not a coincidence. I guess Eugene storing the healing part of sun drop is the main reason of Raps unable to use healing spell with her new hair and he can help her to achieve the full power to open the shield. As Demanitus said, she gave him light and he has to return the favor to her so this may indicate how the hair works.

filler episodes are meant for you to get a feel for their personalities and how they react to given situations, this making more plot driven episodes have a more emotion too them because you have developed an understanding of their behaviors. Good writers set up long term details that run their course throughout the show, drawing parallels, creating nuanced subtexts, and many other writing habits.

biggest examples are Raps having displayed several learned behaviors from Gothel, Cass excessively using the word trust, Eugene being distrusting of others, the King always claiming he has things handled, and many more.

ultimately there IS no filler episodes because everything you see has a purpose and will be references later in bigger plot driven episodes

The reason Star Vs was especially bad was because EVERYONE knew Star/Marco was the endgame. We all knew they'd wind up together, but the show tried as hard as it could to put it off to the very end. It was essentially like Nefcy and Co. spent the entire show telling us the sky was green when we all knew it was blue, and then they say "It's blue!" and we're supposed to think this is wonderful.

When there are ACTUAL love triangles, and there really is some ambivalence about who the final romantic pairings will be, I really don't mind it. My favorite animated romance ever is Roger and Dorothy in Big O, and part of the reason for that is that when Dorothy is introduced way back in the first episode it's not immediately obvious she's going to be the endgame girl. For a huge chunk of the show she and Roger are basically coworkers as their chemistry develops romantically. There's also Angel, whose romantic involvement with Roger throws us off the scent. Big O is an example of a well-done love triangle, Star Vs is not.
