I know Market speculation and a million different covers and all that but fucking hell 250k issues.

>Immortal Hulk #19 increased 11,844 units from #18

OOOOOH NO NO NO THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!!!

Event Leviathan is the worst name ever.

> 120. MAGNIFICENT MS. MARVEL #4 (MARVEL) - 16,735 [123]
>down 2k from last month
>being overshipped by at least 2k based on the fact that it is behind Might morphin power rangers in dollar amount despite being the same price and having 2k more unit sales
>same with team up
>the 1-4 sales of Asgardians of the galaxy sold better than the 1-4 of both of Kamala's books and the 9th chapter outsold Kamala's 3rd chapter last month
>Asgardians of the galaxy was cancelled at 10 chapters
Can we end the Kamala is popular meme? Or at least hold her to the same cancellation standards as other books.

Attached: 1521494709259.jpg (237x242, 43K)

There were a lot of variants

Apparently she sells ok in trade and scholastic

Why do some titles fluctuate so much?

Agents of Atlas #4 is far above #3

PR reason cancelling Ms marvel would lead to a bigger backlash from waifu fags and people who don't read her then asgardians.

It's like a work-in-progress name from his first draft and he forgot to change it before presenting it to editorial so he just ran with it.

Attached: tba.png (1000x563, 560K)

There are only 2 variants that matter: Campbell & Artgerm. And even each one had different presentations and prices.

Also the book is a tedious bore where everyone talks in the exact same fucking smug tone.

Ok things I've gotten from this.

Superior Spider-Man actually stabilized at 22.5k (May and June issues were all at about the same number) which isn't great but can probably be kept afloat by trades to at least 20 issues as long as it doesn't dip below 20k.

Champions also likely stabilized at under 20k though so the book is on life support but will probably be kept around because all the teen hero books are getting cancelled except Miles and Marvel probably plans on keeping them all in the public mind until they can announce something for Disney+.

Miles lost 7k in sales which is a huge hit and is likely gonna see another drop before stabilizing in the same place as Spock

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man dropped by 2k but will probably stabilize above 25k which is still bad for a Peter Parker book

Savage Avengers lost 50k issues but that book was never gonna sustain itself above the 80k mark like Hulk and Batman so no surprises there

I accidentally cropped this.

Attached: Screenshot_2019-07-15 co - June 2019 Comic Book Sales Report - Top 500+'s - Comics Cartoons - 4 (307x69, 3K)

>Guardians of the Galaxy #1 104,916
>Guardians of the Galaxy #2 43,662
>Guardians of the Galaxy #3 41,949
>Guardians of the Galaxy #4 41,651
>Guardians of the Galaxy #5 44,919
>Guardians of the Galaxy #6 41,485
>Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1 46,008

Steady but mediocre sales overall, it seems like it doesn't even break beyond 50K despite all the hype that surrounded it. I doubt it's gonna get any better... And further proof Cates was a mistake in this book. The Annual definitely being an outlier since it wasn't written by him aside from 3 pages, and it won't even be included in the upcoming trade.

I should probably update this chart somehow, for a better visual comparison.

Axel Alonso was the one that pushed the living on trades method. That's one of the points the iceman writer made in their rant, it was cancelled before trade numbers came in as was Wasp. books can't play the tpb card anymore.

> 59. CAPTAIN MARVEL #6 (MARVEL) - 31,297 [61]
> 70. CAPTAIN MARVEL #7 (MARVEL) - 26,141 [73]
Man, this is great. I hope she stays in this range, though I wouldn't mind if she got higher.
> 78. DOCTOR STRANGE #15 (MARVEL) - 23,493 [83]
Bit low, but at least it's not getting cancelled.
> 105. CHAMPIONS #6 (MARVEL) - 19,921 [107]
> 120. MAGNIFICENT MS. MARVEL #4 (MARVEL) - 16,735 [123]
> 138. INVADERS #6 (MARVEL) - 14,792 [136]
Way too low, goddamn it.

TheGL is fucking gold. It’s Morrison so they know it will sell gangbusters in trades.

Agents of Atlas was overshipped. I think it was one of the few titles that Marvel overshipped that month in fact.

Dr Strange fluctuates. It dropped 3.7k this month back to feb levels, and in march it shot up 3k again. I expect it to go up randomly next month, but don't quote me on this

But also, it's stopping at #20 if waid is to be believed. I betting on it getting relaunched with how its ending though, with the same creative team

Yeah, Morrisons GL is one of the few good books left from the big two.

Attached: 1560382142089.gif (386x280, 3.13M)

>But also, it's stopping at #20 if waid is to be believed.
Is there official word on this? Because Brevoort said on Twitter it's not getting cancelled. He does say "not exactly" however, so it might get relaunched indeed.

Attached: brevoort-dr_strange.png (253x226, 24K)

> 13. EVENT LEVIATHAN #1* (DC) - 74,007 [13]

So, it might debut even bellow 80k. Nice. Bendis at DC is a disaster, and this is a Batman focused event too. I really hope this is ruining any good will he has over there if DC editorial has any sense. Bendis doesn't sell for years now.

>Is there official word on this?
Nope, only from solicits. Not a peep from Waid etc. So yeah, judging by Tom's words, relaunch.

I just hope Waid continues writing it, he has been doing a great job imo

I'm betting it's gonna be relabeled given the text. "Doctor Strange: [enter text here] #21" kind of deal.

>Superior Spider-Man 23238
Is that enough to survive or rip Otto?

20-30K range is still safe for titles like these. Higher profile titles can't/won't survive, but his will do fine. 15-20K is the danger zone.

>Higher profile titles
RIP friendly neighborhood?

I wouldn't consider "Friendly Neighborhood" high profile even if it has Spidey in the title, because it's still ancillary to the main Spider-Man title, so 28K looks good. Miles Morales: Spider-Man by all means should be higher than it is, however.

Um...user...
> 59. CAPTAIN MARVEL #6 (MARVEL) - 31,297 [61]
> 70. CAPTAIN MARVEL #7 (MARVEL) - 26,141 [73]

That's fine. Previous numbers:

>Captain Marvel #1 111,391
>Captain Marvel #2 37,380
>Captain Marvel #3 30,282
>Captain Marvel #4 27,423
>Captain Marvel #5 26,086

It's steady in the 25-30K range, and it's not bleeding sales. It's been steady around that range above 25K that keeps most of these books afloat.
Before any clickbaiter tries to spin a narrative out of this, keep in mind she wasn't selling like this during Stohl, but at least 10K less.

That's way above cancellation numbers, although you'll never know.

Huh, weird. It goes up and down right in the middle of arcs too

What even are the cancellation numbers now? Sub 15k?

So other than Spider-Man, Marvel's Avengers and X-Men franchises are on life support.

>MR AND MRS X #12 (MARVEL) - 14,802 [135]

Christ. At least Rogue got control of her powers back before they cancelled this title.

That's right. Some have dipped lower without getting cancelled, but that's because they're selling through other channels well (like digital), this isn't the case for most however: West Coast Avengers dipped under 15K too soon and got cancelled at #10.

In all fairness they cancelled the entire X-Men line anyway, so at least Thompson got to do what she wanted with it until the end.

>Sub 15k?
Yeah at that point i'd say a book is fried, unless it is one of the ones aimed at little kids that usually sell way less.

Lets hope so. I want his run to last at least 50 issues.

Attached: A705D03A-5B2F-4253-AEEB-09053BC5436D.jpg (1973x3033, 2.41M)

More than the sales, it is Grant who said he wanted to take a break by the end of the year.

So there's hope for invaders? Nice

Event Leviathan isn’t in the top 10 but dcceased is. Get Taylor to write Batman next. Just let Bendis keep ruining Superman.

>> 89. DEATHSTROKE #44 (DC) - 21,785 [91]
>Prieststroke so low
Comic fans have no taste.

>> 1. BLACK CAT #1 (MARVEL) - 255,709 [1]
Remember when people made fun of this comic because Marvel said it will broke the comics industry? Well, it sold much more than DCeased #1. Let that sink in.

I didnt expect Berserk to be so low

Let's see if my weird ass silver surfer stays top 5

Doubtful. I bet it's gonna drop to 40K.

Spider-Girl did too at one time
first three issues are ordered before the book comes out, fourth order increased based off sales from the first one getting multiple reprints

>first three issues are ordered before the book comes out
Hm, how do you know that?

I find it funny whenever Comichron considers an increase in sales without taking inflation into Account as a sign of growth.
Like this month comic sales once again decreased but dollar sales increased compared to the same month last year.
but if you actually bother taking inflation into account the increase is less then inflation so it´s actually another loss

it this the first time it was released?
then again the series is super old by now so most people probably already bought the volums seperetly years ago

I worked in a lcs during my senior year of hs and know how ordering works?

Literally no one takes into account inflation when calculating stuff like this, especially before the year ends

>Can we end the Kamala is popular meme?

No because you brainlets always focus on the monthly like it was the only thing

So how does it work? Genuinely curious

dropped when I saw that he was going to censor the costume of star sapphire as well.
no literally every once sexy female costume has been censored by sjws and feminists.
feminist and sjw cenorship is the main reason why I no longer buy comics

>comic sales once again decreased
Correction: Graphic novel sales decreased, floppies went up.

Turns out no one fucking buys graphic novels at your good old LCS

>Spider-Girl did too at one time

Spider-Girl had a more consistent run writing-wise, but I have never seen it chart on Bookscan the way Ms. Marvel vol 1 does repeatedly.

I like it. Guess you're just a leg man that don't like cleavage.

Attached: gl_1_orig.jpg (922x1400, 418K)

Why would they, graphic novels are so much cheaper online or anywhere else basically

Nope Unit sales went down. Dollar Sales slightly increased by below inflation

Not surprised, DC is cutting down a lot of titles. Sucks for those who aren't bat fans

I love cleavage thats just the problem.
modern female characters are no longer allowed to have big breasts or visible cleavage.
I guarantee you her new oufti will only show off her neck. zero actual cleavage like the old outfit

Attached: images (1).jpg (194x259, 17K)

It looks like the og outfit but with covered legs. Then it became super sexualised. Her outfits fluctuate between lots of skin and no skin, but it's always super tight on her. That's fine with me.
Just cuz this outfit isn't as slutty right now doesn't make it censoring. I'm sure if goes evil again, it'd get sluttier.

Attached: dy3dzg-3884f646-966f-461b-a6e9-636f8de7cf4f.jpg (533x800, 77K)

Why are you even bothering to argue with him?

honestly I think it´s much worse being a bat fan right now since writers like king constantly emasculate batman to push his feminist narrative about how much men suck compared to women like catwoman.
also dc cutting back on content is just the natural result of bad sales.
I think stuff like this user says plays a big role
DC and Marvel both haven´t released comics for their traditional audience in a long time because sjws and feminists called classic stories and costumes "sexist" and "problematic" so of course sales suffer which eventually leads to dc and marvel having to reduce comic production to cut back on costs.
if marvel and dc would start releasing products for their male audience again I think sales would increase

I'm amazed, what a time to be alive. When was the last time Hulk was above Batman?

>pretending you are someone else
Dude fuck off, all the costumes you post is from the 90s crash

You "think" but you don't "know". Comic sales would be slipping regardless of who they pondered to.

I think the Red Hulk stuff.

>also dc cutting back on content is just the natural result of bad sales.
Then why is Marvel doing fine?

Like hell, even in bookscan Marvel is the one actually increasing while DC shrank

it is 100% censorship because dc has been doing the same thing to all their female costumes. completely cover them up so that their outfit no longer shows of cleavage and reduce their breasts.
something like this happening maybe 3 or 5 times in 5 years can be explain as a weird coincidence.
it happening literally to every single female character who used to have a sexy costume shows that this is done because of DC feminist political views.

Based Pak

That's the problem with the new Black Cat issues as well. And when cleavage is shown, its weirdly drawn. Like the artist has never seen tits before. That's versus the minis in the back that look well done.

Attached: RCO016_1559752925.jpg (1040x1600, 349K)

marvel isn´t doing fine. they are flooding the market to push out competition with cheap products.
>Like hell, even in bookscan Marvel is the one actually increasing while DC shrank
have you looked at why marvel increased last year? 100% of the growth was due to them re-releasing the infinity gauntlet saga graphic novel as a tie in with the movie. zero of marvels modern or recent comics sold well last year

>Dceased
>event

Marvel got rid of Bendis. Of course their sales went up
DC hired Bendis. Of course their sales went down

Example of the mini

Attached: RCO023_1559752925.jpg (1040x1600, 460K)

Fuck off dude, always the same dumb complaints, nobody fucking gives a shit, don't buy anything.

Fucking imbecile.

When though? I could see it dropping to 100k at #2, but past that? It'll take until #4 or 5 to drop that low, if its bad.

yeah that is 100% the result of editors hating sexy costumes but still using the old once to trick people into buying it
another black cat example where her cleavage is none existent

Attached: no breast.jpg (1988x3056, 1.28M)

>Constantly putting out #1s to stay afloat
>Endless variant covers
>Movies like Endgame garner interest

It's okay for now, but eventually even the retards who fall for their bullshit will wise up and stop buying #1s and variant covers, and the movie's influence will wear off.
God I'm so sick of constantly seeing #1s coming out of Marvel every damn month.

>#1 of an ongoing with 52 variant covers outsells a #1 of a miniseries with 9 variant covers
What's your point?

>with 52 variant covers
we're full '90s. Crash when?
OK, you're right. next time I'll write edgy shit.

>Well, it sold

Comichron's chart is preorders, you casual
The only way to use this chart is to judge month-to-month

Bookscan is the one that actually reports sell-through but not for comic shops

funny comic writers constantly back on twitter to buy their new shit so that they can afford food.
I think they do care about people refusing to buy their sjw crap but just not enough to admit defeat

>When though? I could see it dropping to 100k at #2...
It's just your typical #1 push with a shitton of variants, it's not indicative of anything special. By comparison, the GOTG #1 sold 104,916, and the next issue dropped at 43K . Furthermore, Cates' Cosmic Ghost Rider sold 92,327 on its first issue, then dropped at 47,653 on the second. These miniseries rarely stay at the top beyond the first issue.

>Zombies are edgy
Okay

>It's just your typical #1 push with a shitton of variants, it's not indicative of anything special.
Shit. I know you're right, but I'd really like it to see it hit. It's pretty interesting, so far.

>It's pretty interesting, so far.
I disagree, it's Cates once again tying everything to his OCs as a crutch to skirt around his lack of research, continuity oversights and out of character voices, but if you enjoy it, good for you.

>always the same dumb complaints
maybe dc and marvel should start listening then if the same complain keeps being brought up

His voice for surfer is great though

>115. ADVENTURES OF THE SUPER SONS #11 (DC) - 17,857 [116]
RIP.

No, because you're the same retard who puts his horny needs over writing and art quality, you don't give a fuck who's writing as long as it gives you cleavage, and for that reason nobody will take your bullshit seriously. Get over it, go pay for Zenescope instead, your money isn't wanted.

Why would they listen to 2 spergs on Yea Forums? What they should do is find another main distribution method other than diamond, but since they aren't whatever

It really, REALLY isn't difficult to nail Silver Surfer's style, all he has to do is use a faux deep philosophy. And the first issue was overtly descriptive and dramatic, not exactly classic.

I am out of the loop, how did blackcat sell so much?

>It really, REALLY isn't difficult to nail Silver Surfer's style
Tell dan slott that
>all he has to do is use a faux deep philosophy
What faux deep did he even use?
> And the first issue was overtly descriptive and dramatic, not exactly classic.
So classic.

Seriously, when has SS not been descriptive and dramatic?

A fuckton of variant covers

WB doesn't want to admit it but Justice League was a really disastrous release that affected things. On top of that, did you notice there was no new DC film other than Aquaman (and Teen Titans Go, if you count that)? People were claiming that Aquaman was going to be a box office disaster, and it was coming out in December so there wasn't as much time to plan for that.

Plus on top of that something's gone wrong with the trade department last year, it looks like.

the Marvel way = buy x amount or no variants for u

>13. EVENT LEVIATHAN #1* (DC) - 74,007 [13]
Holy shit Bendis first event and it's DOA.

Sold worse than even the last issue of HiC. This is pathetic. He must have pictures of didio's tiny penis to still have a job.

Honestly I would argue that it's NOT descriptive enough for classic surfer, but who does stuff like this nowadays

Attached: RCO006_1468943192.jpg (1000x1546, 284K)

if anything I care more about comics then you since I don´t comics to be censored for political reasons

I get it, you like Cates, but you really haven't read much Silver Surfer if you think the mini actually sounded anything like him.
>What faux deep did he even use?
See pic, there's plenty of panels like this in the first issue, and it's just so awkward.

Attached: and_yet_for_the_moment_they_live.png (801x335, 363K)

>everybody who doesn´t like the influence sjws and feminists are having on comics is the same guy
I love how that attitude is the main reason why both comic sales are down and hardly anybody posts on Yea Forums anymore.
its either "support your propaganda shit or get banned"

>Sold worse than even the last issue of HiC.
Sad.

How is that faux deep, it's just normal narration

do you usually think that everybody then a different opinion then you is the secretly the same person?
sounds a bit unhealthy attitude to look at the world

Now see, your argument would have more validity if you weren't literally one guy shitposting in every thread

So fuck off

Suck it up, pussy. This isn't your hugbox.

>can't fap to it? CENSORSHIP! Political agenda!
This is you.
Nah, that person IS the exact same poster complaining about the same shit, it's the same posting style and always complaining about muh cleavage. You might be someone else, but I've seen him before.
And either way, nobody gives a fuck, comics aren't "dying" because heroines aren't bimbos, I can assure you.

Attached: reverse_racism.png (480x532, 471K)

>do you usually think that everybody then a different opinion then you is the secretly the same person?
No, but you are one person, at least try to vary your horrible typing style if you want to pretend otherwise. Jump off a cliff

Check this page, then. Look beyond Tradd Moore's art for a second and realize how terribly written it is.
Or not... I think you're already convinced it's good so this doesn't matter.

Attached: file.png (592x915, 395K)

did you get that picture form tumblr or the latest feminist hashtag on twitter?

Honestly shocking. And to think there are anons who believe Bendis will take over for King on Batman. His fucking events can't even outsell it why the fuck would they do that?

Did you get triggered by it? Are you gonna cry now that tits are BANNED from comics?

are you the same person as well?
you both seem to get equally angry like a fat turbo dyke

Last month Hulk outsold Batman

>Or not... I think you're already convinced it's good so this doesn't matter.
Likewise for you, you're convinced it's bad so it doesn't matter. I swear, you got to be reading some weird stuff if you think SS wasn't just as, if not more needlessly dramatic back in the day

Attached: RCO008_1468942376.jpg (1000x1549, 358K)

Kill yourself.

I'm dead serious. The world won't get any better until you obsessive faggots are dead.

yep same person

No. Next question

Now what about you?

Attached: Capture.png (491x102, 11K)

Nope, try again retard.
Nah I won't, I have plenty of stuff to read, as well as valid complaints that don't begin and end in "muh dick".

Did you get triggered by anons post? Are you gonna cry about it and obsess about anonymous people being meanies?

I think you dropped your shirt, bro.

. EVENT LEVIATHAN #1* (DC) - 74,007 [13]
>Holy shit Bendis first event and it's DOA.

Wait, this is the 2019 event, right?

Calling you a retard for obsessing over cleavage doesn't exactly faze me, specially considering how well written the series is. I bet you don't even read it.

It's supposed to be their big in-continuity event and it's bein absolutely killed by DCeased which is written by an even worse writer.

Since we are playing the schizophrenia game I would guess that all those anons are the same person by the 4th grade level of insult filled writing. Where is my price? Do i get an aluminum hat?

Bendis's was a big win for Didio. But he is pretty much underperforming so it makes Didio look like an idiot for buying used goods.

You're not talking to the same user faggot. Learn how the site works. And responding that something else doesn't phase you doesn't mean you aren't clearly butthurt about user's post.

Learn to read and write, ESLfag.

Tbf, I wouldn't be surprised if Bendis was dirt cheap and DC was making loads of money off him that way.

>calls me ESL
>doesn't even know the meaning of "faze"
And funny thing, English IS my second language, but I still handle it better than you. Neck yourself, retard.

That is some next level irony right here.

This is like saying chris Paul to the rockets was a big win despite him being washed up garbage that lead to nothing but the same bitter loss.

You insults are about as spicy as those Indian facebooks posts asking for „vagana“

I don't think so, notice how he's got his imprint going. I do think he works efficiently enough to be working on multiple books at a time.

Also, how does this comparison make sense on any level

Quality thread here, folks.

LCS has to order 3 months in advance
they always go heavy in the #1 because casual people pick them up
2 and 3 are ordered based on what they LCS thinks the series will standard sell
4 and beyond are real numbers because they reflect the sales
like the Walking Dead or even Immortal Hulk right now, first few issues are hardest to get because they didn't know itd be a hit

meh, a shitty industry leads to shitty threads.
comics just suck these days

I could see people buying the earlier volumes, but I'd think with the talks of a netflix adaption, the hype would be a bit bigget

>these days

Honestly it's the fault of the faggots that come here to bitch about someone complaining.

I can't exactly say when it started but for five or six years now there are so many more complaints about complaints and opinions than ever before. It's unreal to me that people complain about the opinions of others rather than complaining about media or ignoring the opinions they disagree with.

I fail to see why every tread needs to be derailed because some retard said they want tits or sluts in their comics. Why can't the literal faggots and men in dresses ignore that shit? At least those complaints are adding to the the topic of the discussion no matter how poorly they're doing so. Complaining about anons and opinions is off topic and serves to do nothing but instigate personal insults which is the most absurd shit possible in an anonymous forum.

According to Snyder, every issue of Justice League is part of an event, so 2019 is Year of the Villain

>comics just suck these days
"becuz can't fap to it!!"

>Why can't the literal faggots and men in dresses ignore that shit?
Rent free.

>meh, a shitty industry leads to shitty threads.
No, shitty posters do

Fuck off. Anons entitled to his opinion. You on the other hand are adding nothing but your contempt to the thread. Nobody cares that you're sick of that complaint.

>comics just suck these days
Given that you dropped morrison green lantern because of a fucking costume, I don't think you have any taste to say what's good or not

There's many good stuff on the list especially if you go outside big 2, but even within big 2 there's some decent books if you aren't a sperg

>Nobody cares that you're sick of that complaint.
Are you the same idiot who claimed that whoever doesn't complain about lack of cleavage and shit is either a tranny or a faggot?

>You on the other hand are adding nothing but your contempt to the thread
To be fair, the initial complainer is also adding nothing but his contempt as well, and that was literally his only complaint for green lantern. And you do know morrisonfags are quite defensive of their beloved

netfix adaptations sucks. they always make everybody black and add feminists or pro mass immigration and tranny subplots to the story.
most berserk fans are the kinds of people that would be called neo nazis by cnn. there is zero chances most of them are looking forward to more netflix stuff

Proof that's the same user? Or is he just living rent free in your head as you continue to derail this thread?

schizophrenia user strikes again

>Proof that's the same user?
Why are you whiteknighting for him? He can reply to me on his own if I wrongly accused him of anything

No.

You'd love for that to be me though which is exactly the point. You want to engage with "that user". Social media is what you're looking for.

The difference of course being complaints about comics are on topic in a thread about sales. Complaints abiut complaints aren't.

>Complaints abiut complaints aren't.
That's how Yea Forums works. Once it's in the thread, it's relevant to that thread. You should take your own advice and go to other social media where you only need to engage with the initial post

Not him, but it's the exact same posting style.
>The difference of course being complaints about comics are on topic in a thread about sales. Complaints abiut complaints aren't.
Right, so he's allowed to complain about the same shit over and over like an obsessed autist, but nobody can tell him off for being a retard about it?

Why are you obsessed with "that user" when this is an anonymous site? If you want to have a conversation leave and go to a social media site. What you're doing is venting frustrations about people you hate into this thread and board. Nobody cares about you or your frustrations. Unless those frustrations are about comics rather than other reactions and opinions.

only other post in this thread so far has been that comichron doens´t bother taking inflation into account but whatever. seems like you are not the only person here who thinks that every critical poster is the same.
I was just enjoying the max autism of everybody saying "you are the same user"

Cute but this isn't true. The topic is dictated by the board, complaining about coming complaints isn't on topic.

You're not just telling him off. You're going on and on and on just ITT. It happens over and over.

>Nobody cares about you or your frustrations
Just like nobody cares you can't fap to DC/Marvel comic books anymore.

Common*

>The topic is dictated by the board, complaining about coming complaints isn't on topic.
Did you join Yea Forums, wait sorry 4channel, this year? Complaining about complaints is standard everywhere, and given the initial complaint is on topic I don't see why not

>lol you're THAT user I swear it
I've told you multiple times I'm not. Your juvenile obsession with them seems to be the problem here. I have no interest in falling to a comic.

Nobody cares that you're not the same person, get that through your skull, Tommy.

I wish there was a BoP book coming out or something. I want more hot grrrl power. Preferably written by a man because every female writer seems to suck dick.

Besides, since when did any mod on Yea Forums give a shit what is on-topic or not? Not even Yea Forumsutist mods are good at stomping off-topic. Barely disguised off-topic OPs are a staple on multiple boards, especially faster ones

>Le you're new
Yet I'm not the one derailing threads because someone said they want more boobs and now they're the same person as everyone that ever wanted boobs and anyone who thinks they should be able to voice that is the same person too.

I call these people /pol/ screamers because in the past they used to always end their posts criticizing somebody else's criticism with the sentence
>/pol" out!
regardless if said criticism was actually featuring nazi talking points or not

I think their shills or just casuals who enjoy the idea of being a comic fan but dont actually want to read them

best bop run is written by a woman though

derailing doesn't exist on Yea Forums. everyone can post whatever and are free to engage in other conversation

>best bop run is written by a woman though
Chuck Dixon is a she now?

>best bop run is written by a woman though
Which one?

DC should make more Batman and Joker comics.

>I think their shills or just casuals who enjoy the idea of being a comic fan but dont actually want to read them
But those that are screaming "NOT ENOUGH SEX" are those that hate and drop everything though. In fact, I think they wouldn't even read the 60s-80s because most of the costumes just don't compare in slut factor to the 90s

>I think their shills or just casuals who enjoy the idea of being a comic fan but dont actually want to read them
See, this is the same guy as
Can't. Fucking. Type for the life of him, jesus fuck.

The 70s had daring costumes too.

Huh, you're like the first person I met that liked the chuck run the most

Gail Simone

>To be fair, the initial complainer
Which one? The original guys who want to see more cleavage in comics or the other this guy ?
Because the first posters at least give a reason why they no longer support a comic run. Sure you can disagree with them, free country after all, but it´s still a reason.

>But those that are screaming "NOT ENOUGH SEX" are those that hate and drop everything though
Ignore them.

Now THIS is a tumblrina.

Yes, and I disagreed with him. Yeah, free country hooray

Liking Gail Simone makes one a tumblrina?
Yep, casualgater detected, should've known.

He's been spouting that sort of crap for years. Always the same broken English structure, never improving.

Attached: D5vAWoPUwAEyy8a.jpg (1024x576, 81K)

>Liking Gail Simone makes one a tumblrina?
Yes, already in the days before Tumblr and Casualgaters.

>Because the first posters at least give a reason why they no longer support a comic run. Sure you can disagree with them, free country after all, but it´s still a reason.

Discussing that anons need to stop complaining about sex (cause it's not comics back or because it's bad or for whatever reason) doesn't explain why sales are low or add anything to the subject of low sales. While it's not helping much giving reasoning for not buying comics at least adds to that conversation.

One is a complaint about comics the other is a complaint about anonymous posts online.

>Now THIS is a tumblrina.
How? Gail Simone's run is well received overall

If the writing quality was good people might ignore the lack of attractive characters
Is your defense that everyone against you is one guy?
Nigga that is the worst way to deflect criticism on an anonymous site

I will give you the benefit of doubt and think you're mistaking BoP with Secret Six.

It absolutely does. She literally helped spawn the entire garbage "that's insensitive" culture that's taken over pop culture.

>If the writing quality was good people might ignore the lack of attractive characters
NOPE. Given how the first user complained about Green Lantern of all things

Yep, the pattern is easy to identify, you don't even have to look too deep into it to tell.
>Is your defense that everyone against you is one guy?
Straight from the archives. Not my first rodeo.

Attached: file.png (926x185, 38K)

Literally
>it's THAT user
The post

Nope, sorry! You are just acting like everybody who disagrees with you is the same person. That a normal symptom of insanity. Might want to get that looked at.

Attached: EAAA95F4-03B8-4010-828A-EDDB0EEC22D0.jpg (594x573, 251K)

Yeah, I liked her secret six too

Sure is comics and cartoons in here.

Attached: Sage.jpg (300x411, 19K)

You're right, my bad. At least you know how to capitalize the beginning of a fucking sentence.

>Bane as Homer Simpson
Dropped forever.

That just the funny thing. A lot of 60s comics had more Sexappeal then comics released now! Which is fucking bizarre to type out if you know about the hoops comics had to jump through back then.

didn't see that post but that's very depressing
obviously it is if you think only one person on this board sucks at typing

Nobody said you couldn´t disagree with him. Everybody is just making fun of the way you do it. I have seen kindergarten kids with better debating skills.

You'll be right if the guy shitposting in spider-man threads about black cat didn't exclusively use 90s costumes as a base, and ignore everything else

How is this even a debate? No one is changing anyone's opinions. Besides, I think you're talking to the wrong guy

What have you added, user?

>A lot of 60s comics had more Sexappeal then comics released now!
Yeah I don't think you've seen those if you really believe that.
>obviously it is if you think only one person on this board sucks at typing
It's not just the grammar, it's the arguments, the inability to type full paragraphs, and the constant "i'm not buying comics because sjws, leotards and cleavage" specifically. It's never anything but that.

Fuck this thread.

Attached: 1559800117672.png (443x500, 219K)

You're not though. You're obsessively REEing about anyone who thinks like that. To the point of making up most of the posts ITT, all about an user and the opinions of other anons rather than about comics.

>literal faggot is mad that people said he was derailing the thread so no sense he's smarmily posting his reacts

>It's not just the grammar, it's the arguments,
have you I don't know, ever disproved their arguments?
> the inability to type full paragraphs
not everyone cares about their grammer on an anonymous image board
>and the constant "i'm not buying comics because sjws, leotards and cleavage" specifically. It's never anything but that.
hating sjw is the norm nigga

You don´t read comics! From the last thread I remember he exclusively used examples from around 2008 to 2012. From what I remember he especially pointed out how Ramos used to draw Black Cat with much more cleavage and bigger boobs during Big Time compared to the recent Thief Guild Saga.

>You're not though. You're obsessively REEing about anyone who thinks like that.
What. who are you talking about

So it IS you, faggot. I should've known.
>not everyone cares about their grammer on an anonymous image board
LMAO

>From what I remember he especially pointed out how Ramos used to draw Black Cat with much more cleavage and bigger boobs during Big Time compared to the recent Thief Guild Saga.
Literally WHO gives this much of a shit about the amount of cleavage?

>It's not just the grammar, it's the arguments, the inability to type full paragraphs, and the constant "i'm not buying comics because sjws, leotards and cleavage" specifically. It's never anything but that.
You are just fucking nuts user. Honestly spent less time on this board and HAVE SEX!

>You don´t read comics!
No, I just avoid storytimes. Last I remembered he was using 90s cat

I'm not the one who has this pent up sexual frustration going on that desperately needs to see cheesecake.

>So it IS you, faggot. I should've known.
so you are delusional
>LMAO
have fun thinking you're superior to anons because you use proper grammar

autists that feel the need to find something to outrage about

last I recall multiple anons called him out on being blind too, but I digress

>From the last thread
user.

YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE IF THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO.

THAT user FROM THE LAST THREAD STOPPED EXISTING WHEN THAT THREAD CLOSED. THAT user IS NOT IN THIS THREAD BECAUSE ITS A DIFFERENT THREAD. THAT IS HOW YOURE SUPPOSED TO REPLY ON Yea Forums. STOP IMAGINING ITS THE SAME user STOP CARRYING CONVERSATIONS OVER!

looks like a lot of people care, that's why Black Cat did so well this month

>have fun thinking you're superior to anons because you use proper grammar
This but unironically. Those who can't even use proper grammar are obviously living in shitholes which don't have proper education

Literally WHO gives this much of a shit about the amount of complaints about cleavage?

Then why did you use the word "threads" as in plural if you only remember one thread? And additionally why do you think that every user who complains about Black Cat is the same user if you only have seen 1 thread?

>he hasn't encountered barneyfag or other spammers on other boards
Yikes, how new are you?

It did well because of two variants, not because it's a quality book at all. It's fucking sad that you're going off the #1 sales.
I have serious issues taking seriously anyone who can't type proper sentences and is so simple-minded he can't coherently complain about stuff beyond "the zipper is not down enough".

This should be a sticky at this point. Way too many tourists and newfags refuse to lurk until they understand this.

people who don´t like censorship?

>I have serious issues taking seriously anyone who can't type proper sentences and is so simple-minded he can't coherently complain about stuff beyond "the zipper is not down enough".
why the fuck are you trying to take anons on Yea Forums seriously

I was in multiple storytimes before, I just avoid them recently and clearly, I made the right choice.

Also, he's the same guy because he uses the exact same arguments in the exact same posting style. He has also never denied being the same guy in the threads I saw

the female form is evil user
remember, censorship is ok as long as it comes from the left

I have. It's a new user. Every thread. Fuck off until you accept this newfag.

I'm sure you think there's one damifag and one ladderbro too.

Tripfags like Boco and a few storytimers like norrin and texasanon are the same person.

>no tits = censorship
Do you really think they give a fuck and are actively getting "censored"? LMAO

Attached: markbrooks.png (332x394, 65K)

>This should be a sticky at this point. Way too many tourists and newfags refuse to lurk until they understand this.
>newfags calling other newfags
Nigger if you aren't here long enough to recognise notorious posters (You) are the newfag

Yeah you are just focusing your frustration on playing white knight on a korean basket weaving forum instead. Seriously just spent less time on Yea Forums, join a sports club, go more outside and if you don´t fuck up constantly you will have sex as well!

>no no no I demand you agree that he is THAT user
Kill yourself newfag.

>I have. It's a new user. Every thread.
It's cute you believe this. I see you don't go to Yea Forums much

Who do you mean with "They"?

>playing white knight
Who's white knighting? I'm calling you a retard because you literally dropped Green Lantern out of lack of cleavage. The fuck?

>>no no no I demand you agree that he is THAT user
>I am too new to recognise posters by their posting styles
How about you jump off a cliff

They as in the artists. Keep up, dummie.

No, YOU jump off a cliff.

Could you quote that post? I really have a hard time anyone would drop GL for that reason.

Yea Forumsutists should get the fuck out of this board, no one likes you faggots

See

If Marvel and DC tell artists to no longer draw characters in a sexy way then this is still censorship.

...

Here:

>believe
I don't. It's how I conduct myself. There's a difference.

How about you come here and make me if you're so confident you know who everyone is.

>If Marvel and DC tell artists to no longer draw characters in a sexy way then this is still censorship.
Multiple artists seem to be ignoring their orders then. Black Cat is still sexy off the top of my head

Both her digital are down too. We will have wait for the trades but considering that every tpb of her last run sold worse than the previous it will likely continue.

You literally are white knighting for feminists constant demand of comics getting censored. Nice of you to also completely ignore the other part of going out more. user just stop it. Posting on Yea Forums will not get you laid.

Why don't you guys stop buying capeshit and buy books by the Hernandez Bros? They're full of big breasted girls but also have good plots.

thanks
while I agree with you on principle about sjw, I can't agree with dropping one of the only good DC comics right now. I know it sucks that they're ruining Carol's costume but we can't let down Grant Morrison. Think of the hypercrisis nigga

>Black Cat #1
Literally why?
Are comic store's retarded, the story was trash and the art was also trash from the previews

>I don't. It's how I conduct myself.
You are as autistic as those who think it's all the same person
>How about you come here and make me
>literally fight me irl
Wow

Because that would mean that the people who want to censor comics win. Eventually they would just move on form Marvel and DC and censor those comics as well.
Many people like the old costumes and personalities of the female characters who got censored. Why should they just accept that something that they liked has been removed for sjw reasons?

How do you even know that's the case, and not them simply not giving a fuck?
For reference, this is the drawing the retard insulted Mark Brooks for.
Is this censored, fucktard?
>I know it sucks that they're ruining Carol's costume
How are they ruining it? Lately it's literally naked painting just like every other time.

Attached: IMG_20190708_202136.jpg (1972x2048, 660K)

See the thing audience looking for just cheesecake is much much smaller than the audience would let you believe

Sorry, I don't buy toilet paper.

Probably just female artists who like drawing sexy stuff. Those have always existed and I doubt that some male feminist at marvel or dc would ever tell a woman what she can and can not draw

>Because that would mean that the people who want to censor comics win
Wait, so you're not going to support a book that has cheesecake in it, because that would mean the guys who don't want cheesecake win? What backwards logic is this?

>Probably just female artists who like drawing sexy stuff.
So you don't know who J Scott Campbell or Artgerm are, got it.

So youse have no taste, that's what youse mean.

They bought it for the variant and incentive variant covers. There was an Artgerm variant that required retailers to buy 200 copies in order to qualify. I think there was also a Terry Dodson cover that was a reuse of some art from around the 00's.

That Artgerm variant currently goes for $70 on eBay.

>For reference, this is the drawing the retard insulted Mark Brooks for.
user you know that something like this would never be released in a official DC or Marvel book right? Which only is more or less the point I am trying to make. Marvel and DC tell artists to censor themselves when it comes to official commissions which the artists of course do since they want to get payed. This is still censorship

>variant that required retailers to buy 200 copies in order to qualify
This should be illegal.

>censored
See the thing is when you throw around terms like this is that it dilutes it. Like how libs throw around nazi

Was Invisible Woman censored when she changed out of her breast window costume? Was there censorship when she changed into it?

>user you know that something like this would never be released in a official DC or Marvel book right?
... It's for an upcoming Marvel miniseries.
Jesus Christ you're so fucking dense.

If it was for like a really special event, and done very rarely, I could've accepted it, but Marvel does it at least once a year.

Why the fuck was the comment you replied to deleted?

Variant covers. 1 was retailers got 1 per 50 orders and another was 1 per 200. It's massively inflated the sales.

Which one?

how can you defend this shitty costume

Attached: ss new look.png (370x949, 723K)

Maybe Disney is lurking this thread?

The mouse has many shills here. Why do you think we get spammed by MCU shit constantly

>user you know that something like this would never be released in a official DC or Marvel book right?

Attached: conan.jpg (1004x960, 398K)

I fucked up and didn't specify that it was the Artgerm variant that was going for $70.

Maybe.

Not him, but sort of. Many phoneposters don't bother with correction.

Best comic of the year is clearly Runaways

The Hellboyverse had better artists though.

So there is only 1 phoneposter in all of Yea Forums?

I wish

Can’t really compare, it’s two very distinct styles. I am personally not a fan of Mignolia’s art, his panelling is nice though

Debatable. Bennett might not be one of the Young Guns but a lot of his art, when it's not ruined by the inking, is really good (like that picture in fact).
I'm a phoneposter and I don't have grammar issues, that retard is just lazy.

Remember that the Hellboyverse had art by many other artists, user. Based Guy Davis and others.

>I'm a phoneposter and I don't have grammar issues, that retard is just lazy.
Man you missed the point hard

Right, I very much prefer Davis

Hulk looks like a gorilla.

Missed it, or nailed it harder than ever? You be the judge.

Cut him some slack, he’s pretty much anoxeric

Miles has always been hovering around or above 30k. Why would that be expected to change now?

>implying a maxi marketed as an event in every single DC book wouldn't sell more than an ongoing

People simply don't give a shit about DC.

It took you a long time to start the company war. Are you OK?

You are just mad he is more attractive than you. But this is hardly a big feat.

No, I'm not okay, and I won't be until DC and Marvel stop censoring cleavages and leotards. SJW propaganda has gone too far, we males aren't allowed to enjoy tits because of trannies.

waifus sell when the look good

>if marvel and dc would start releasing products for their male audience again I think sales would increase
Thank God EVS and Comicsgate are there to pick up the slack!

I was bored, so I decided to make a couple of charts to illustrate the comic sales of some series, to see how they've been performing now vs. the recent past.

First Guardians of the Galaxy, comparing it to Duggan's run (and including his events, though not the tie-in minis) vs. Cates' run. The first conclusion was that, while his ongoing had lower sales in comparison to Cates', it was also double-shipped during the entire run, which definitely hurt its sales. In contrast, Infinity Countdown and Wars weren't double-shipped (only once, between IW #1 and #2), leading to a much better performance.
Also, while there's a considerable dip between #3 and #4 in Duggan's run, the drop between #1 and #2 (-37.13%) is way less drastic than Cates', which had a drop of -58.38%. Though clearly they realized it was not a good idea to double-ship this title, or else it would be selling lower.

Attached: guardians_of_the_galaxy-sales_july2019.png (1810x807, 41K)

Duggan's GoTG had some serious overshipping on it.
I remember Marvel actually confirming it, because the dollar ranking versus unit sales ranking had a gigantic discrepancy.

And now, a chart no one has bothered to make before, to compare the sales objectively: Captain Marvel.
For this I only used the dataset from 2016 (Butters/Fazekas) until the present (Thompson), and charted all the series she's had, excluding other minis (only included the Infinity Countdown mini for comparison). As we can see, there's definitely a downward trend through each of her titles, with Stohl's ongoing being the lowest point. However, ever since Life of Captain Marvel, there's a positive sales trend and now the title sells in the 25-30K comfortably.
This confirms, empirically, that the movie boost did help, despite the drastic dip between the #1 and #2 (−66.44%) of the current series.

It was ridiculous, this is when they were experimenting with sales boost tricks using incentives, but it failed miserably. I'm glad they learned their lesson and only a couple titles at most are overshipped.

I can't find them confirming anything, but these were some of the stats
May 2017
>9. All New Guardians of the Galaxy #1 82,439 [14]
Not too odd for a #1
>26 All New Guardians of the Galaxy #2 51,830 [73]
Unit Rank 73 that month was Doctor Strange 21SE at 32,142. So All New GotG #2 was actually ordered closer to 32K, not 51K

June 2017
>31 All New Guardians of Galaxy #3 49,907 [71]
Position 71 in unit ranking that month was "Batman The Shadow #3 31,717"
>34 All New Guardians of Galaxy #4 47,385 [102]
Position 102 in the unit rankings was "Bane Conquest #2" at 25,142.
So Marvel was sending out almost twice the number of issues that stores actually ordered.

you aren't including reprinting runs though right? Cause then Thompson's run will be even higher cause some of those are going to 3rd printings

No, I didn't. I could though, but I wanted to keep it simple for a first pass while I figured out which charts to do next.
But yes, with the reprints these numbers should go comfortably in the 30K's, in average.

cool, just making sure I knew what exactly it recorded.

No, it's just that the new writer is killing the book.

>With Brevoort stating that this title is not ending but wih all those delays, it's doubtful that it would appear in the Otcber 2019 solicits.
Right, the delays are annoying. 20 is going to release in October now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is still a solicit for whatever comes next for October as well

you got it, Scholastic dwarfs the trade/graphic novel sales of Marvel and DC combined

Attached: scholastic.png (902x334, 37K)

I sometimes forget how much Scholatic BTFOs every other publisher.

These are the numbers with the reprints that I could find. First column is the unit sales, then each reprint until the total.
Funny thing: for some reason, the Infinity "Countdown: Captain Marvel" one-shot got reprinted in June, adding 1,109 units to the total sales (30,128).

Attached: thompson-reprints.png (768x132, 21K)

>No, it's just that the new writer is killing the book.
She is in 4 books, all with different writers, and they all are failing. Wilson was sub 20k for months too, it had gotten as low as 12k. Interest has died down and the relaunch has failed to bring it up.

>> 19. SPAWN #298 (IMAGE) - 58,563 [32]

SPAWN IS BACK!

Remember when Spawn had that random sales boost in early 2018 that lasted for like half a year where it tripled is sales for absolutely no reason whatsoever? No it's back to an even higher level both in terms of position on the sales chart and in terms of total copies sold. I wonder how it'll do after #300?

Superman's sales are still too damn high.

War of Realms killed the Valkyrie, I heard. Glad it didn't sell.

One Marvel artist revealed they do get censored a lot. Cleavage = evil, white girls with dreadlocks = cultural appropriation and evil, etc.
There's still a lot of fixing to be done, there, and the Black Cat covers may be one of those not sincere changes of heart.

And hey #8 already sold out!

>Gou Tanabe's Mountains of Madness at 31
Nice desu

How does it even work? Why would more people buy issue 19 if they haven't read the previous one?

The series has become hottest thing on the speculator market in the last few months. Mint copies of earlier issues and virgin variants are selling for a pretty penny on ebay at the moment. Marvel's capitalizing on it by pushing a lot more variants and special covers from #16 onwards, which they're all buying up.

Very good, hopefully that means they'll increase the printing numbers next time. I think Mark Brooks' covers will definitely give the title a boost from now on.
Advance orders. Retailers order the titles months in advance, based on the catalogs. These aren't direct sales to end consumers, but preorders based on demand... And this was actually a censored cover that created hype.

Attached: Immortal_Hulk_Vol_1_19.jpg (1000x1517, 411K)

Word of mouth picking up. Do note comic retailers order three months in advance so 19’s sales are not reflective of the reception of 18

I'm charting Doctor Strange's sales, by the way... From Aaron to Waid, and I'm already seeing some interesting results. Will share in a bit after collecting the data.

Nothing good ever lasts.

Waid's run was SO much better than Aaron's but I'm sad more people didn't realize that and didn't give it a shot. I don't think the book was fully canceled though, I think it's just taking a break for a relaunch

I want one dragon lady pls.

Part of it might be because McFarlane's doing homages to Amazing Spider-Man #298-300 for the covers.

They really are just a Batman company.

Who takes cats to a crime scene? This seems highly inefficient.

>need moar, edgier Batshit, with moar Joaker.
It's sad to objectively watch it fall apart.
A grave prepared by its own success.
Good Bye, BatShit.

Thanks user

I mean Breevolt basically confirmed this so

Well here's the deal, is IS better than Aaron and Cates, and curiously enough, it's actually selling better than Cates too, which is surprising considering there's this perception that Cates' run was the last time it sold well, but it actually didn't. Even if you include the reprints, you'd have to include Waid's run reprints as well, and it doesn't stand a chance.

Looking at the chart, one can obviously see Aaron's run was the one that sold the best out of the last 5 years, with Doctor Strange and the Sorcerer's Supreme as the lowest run (despite the big push its #1 got, selling 149,710 units in its debut and edging out Aaron's debut by 5K). After he left the run, it became really uneven, with Thompson and Hopeless (as well as others) trying to keep the title afloat before Cates. Then he arrives during Legacy, gets massively overshipped (see the GOTG chart above for another example of this) and the sales tank, never reaching the 30K mark until the Damnation miniseries.

Then Waid arrives, and the book reaches 30K again for the first time in a year, skirting around that mark with some highs and lows, only occasionally dipping under 25K. So, looking at this data, why would they cancel it? It's actually selling more consistently. Chances are that yes, it gets relaunched or renamed, but this creative team is working out for the title, after all.

Word. How the hell is nobody reading more Deathstroke. It's so fucking good

Guys, read Deathstroke for Christ's sake. It's so fucking good and it doesn't deserve to end so soon. Let's get it to 60 at least, c'mon!

Uhh, shill-kun?

Superman BTFO your gay ass

>That was a given from the gate go.

Attached: laughh.jpg (220x230, 8K)

no

how did Aaron sell so well, what the fuck?

>One Marvel artist
Who?

Movie hype, probably? It did come out in 2016 after all. Same thing happened with Bendis and his GOTG, both series were mediocre but are the best sellers of the last decade.

Do you truly find it really hard to believe that there are people out there that actually like this event and what Aaron did? "War of Realms" is actually brilliant

That first issue mega-boost? That issue had a variant cover that was distributed to Funko's Subscription Box, which is why it had that extreme boost and then dropped to a really low level for the next issue.

Funko hasn't added comics to their subscription boxes since 2017, though.

Attached: Doctor Strange Funko variant.jpg (450x450, 55K)

There’s going to be a movie in 2021 right? No way it’ll get outright cancelled, I just hope the team stays

I forget, I think he did mainly covers? If I recall one example given was specifically a X-Force cover or something like that. He went on a tirade on some podcast interview or whatever.

Totally believable information.

If you ever look at the current decade's comics, it's 100% believable.

This video talks about the sales
youtu.be/5fkNnBWFdqg

Don't humor him, there's no data or evidence to confirm their narrative, it's all based on circumstantial evidence. Once there's outliers, they move the goalposts to claim things aren't "fixed" or justify it in other ways just so they can keep complaining about lack of cleavage/leotards/whatnot.

Anyway, last one before I go to sleep: Marvel Events, including War of the Realms. From here the only conclusions I can draw are:
1) since Civil War II, not a single Marvel event has broken the 200K barrier, and
2) War of the Realms has some of the worst sales for a linewide event in the last years, selling less than Secret Empire (which at the time it was a low point, after CWII's sales success).

Attached: comic_events-sales_july2019.png (3062x764, 49K)

>I forget, I think he did mainly covers?
How convenient.

>He went on a tirade on some podcast interview or whatever.
So you don't even know who he is, the context, the arguments made, where did this mystery artist work, nothing. That's rich.

Fine, here's your spoonfeeding. Enjoy it and don't get used to it.

>Jon Malin
>Jon
>fucking
>Malin

Oh wow that totally isn't an artist with an axe to grind and his own agenda to push, surely we can absolutely take him at his word.

Well, on the other hand, we can take the word from anons here, who could or not be paid for it, claiming there totally isn't any kind of agenda or censorship. Pick your poison, in the end.

>Jon Malin
Wait, THIS was your proof? LMAO he got fired from Marvel, obviously he's gonna bitch and say all sorts of things that cannot be trusted, the guy is a full blown comicsgater.

Is Bendis even worth keeping around at this point?

When does his contract expire?

Because Jason Aaron's events previously underperformed (Original Sin) and last year's Infinity Wars was a mediocre performer though somehow had reader interest in the Infinity Warps.

don´t bother. They will never accept the fact that comics are obviously censored right now because this would make liberals look bad. the average Yea Forums poster is social justice activist first and comic fan last. They just want to use comics to push their world view

Honestly I doubt that's the average Yea Forums poster, but yeah.

Looks like Marvel has finally made Events irrelevant!

It's hard to believe that Secret Empire actually was a better seller than anything published under Yoshida

Attached: file.png (1060x437, 28K)

Good. Events suck.

>samefagging this hard
Hang yourself. Stream it.

>comicsgater.
Only you sjw faggots think that is a thing.

Right, I suppose Ethan van Sciver is actually a huge SJW then, considering he trademarked the label of the "movement."

its not that Events can't be fun. It's more because Marvel only makes lame stories with lame characters. Who wants to read a Event which further emasculates male role models like Thor and makes it all about women? Who wants to read Events which turn patriotic white male heroes like Captain America into Nazis to also push feminist women and minorities?

OBSESSED

>It's more because Marvel only makes lame stories with lame characters
You mean you'd prefer dumb, boring uninteresting, and predictable stories that don't really mean anything rather than have bold, engaging, and thought-provoking stories that actually more interesting

You are so easily triggered when your political agenda is being attacked and be a snowflake about it. Just shows the utter insecurites that you are displaying

HAHAHAHAHA! God damn you are pathetic

You doing okay there?

I am guessing this is why Aaron is on Avengers now. They probably want a big Avengers crossover next that can sell and likely believe there is an additive effect for the next crossover if it has the Avengers Big 3(Thor, Iron Man and Cap). In addition they can launch more Avengers books like Mighty/Dark/Secret/Young Avengers during or after a crossover. Savage Avengers seems to be doing alright now.

>reeeeee kill yourself
Calm down Malin, I thought you said you were doing fine?

>We were never at war with Eurasia
It’s ok user, at least you realised it was a total cringefest that achieved nothing besides lining some pockets

Prieststroke hasn't been truly good since Lazarus Contact
It's been ok though, which is more than you can say about most dc books

>Who wants to read Events which turn patriotic white male heroes like Captain America into Nazis
Well isn't that the type of hero you comicgaters always wanted?

Characters should be allowed to be themselves instead of being reshaped.

Attached: Captain Nazi.jpg (725x581, 71K)

>this guy is more relevant than he was years ago
>not in Shazam and JSA is still MIA

why is dc so retarded

>Black Cat number 1 sold the most
>Black FUCKING Cat

MARVEL COMICS SHOULD BE SUCKING J.SCOTT CAMPBELL'S DICK RIGHT NOW!

The comiXology list(s) of best-selling comics for the week of July 10, 2019 are now out:

Why do you faggots do this? Those aren't numbers they're rankings based on figures we'll never see.

Kill yourself faggot.
