A, even if it's a bit irrational that's no excuse for the fag to get archmad, and B, it's clear from the context there that the guy *complimented* Kyle on his title cards (the only thing Kyle made for it, apparently), and mentioned that he didn't liek the rest in connection with that. "Hey, I thought your contribution was great even though I didn't like the thing!" is a totally natural thing to say and serves to emphasize how good you think the guy himself is. Only a total sperg would lose his mind at such a thing.
