Um...
I think I wish you didn’t make this thread
It’s going to be the only thing I watch, since I plan on rewatching it over and over and over and over again intill I memorize every frame from every episode.
Of any random vitiligo paint job character a man with a die for a head makes more sense than about any
that sounds like a curse
no concrete opinion till released.
I expect a turd from netflix trying to get the crew to rush it out.
>shitty framerate
>casting actors from live action netflix shows
>outsourcing to a shitty studio
>couldn't even make the vitiligo look like pips on a dice
One job
Optimistic.
I'm waiting until the general consensus of it is out and then I'm gonna shitpost on this board about why they're wrong.
It won't look remotely similar to the era of cartoon it is intended to mimic but for some reason people will pretend it does.
Unpopular opinion: the show should have fully voiced characters instead of being silent/grunts only. People speak dialogue (without voice acting) in the game, so the show wouldn't feel like Cuphead if it's not there.
I cannot tell you based off one image and the network it's on
I don't have much faith.
Anything involving Cuphead is too fujo-tainted to be salvageable. I don't know why they chose to sink their greasy, unwashed hands into this particular series but now every time I see it I'm reminded of how fujos smell and it turns my stomach.
>casting actors from live action netflix shows
This.
Like, why can't they hire actual professional voice actors?
I feel like the Cuphead cartoon will most likely just have the characters either not talking at all or talking in grunts/moans/sighs only (like Tom & Jerry, Pink Panther, etc)
>how fujos smell
you have extensive experience with this?
The top people on the show have either good track records (showrunner Dave Wasson, director Adam Paloian) or mixed track records that include some good stuff (co-executive producer Cosmo Segurson, director Clay Morrow) so I'm not too worried
Also too the user memeing about the show being animated in the Phillipines last thread: if you're right, then at least it's better the Phillipines than Korea
Go to literally any convention, art school or bookstore, you'll know whether you like it or not.
>Do you like this cartoon that doesn't exist yet?
y-you're a chrome attic appiration
because they have managers and they haggle for money
why do that when they can get some cheap actors that have experience with them, to do the same mediocre voice acting at reasonable rate no hassle
I hope this means more Blimp porn.
the artstyle they'll use reminds me of that one parody HDD did a year ago
I already hate Cuphead for making that god awful "zany and wacky" rubber hose animation of 20's popular again, this is just rubbing salt to a wound.
IIIIIIIIII'M MR. KING DICE
I'M THE GAYEST IN THE LAAAND
>fujo
But why? It doesn't have any twinks or manly men just a fucking cups and other shit
>HDD
Who?
Redundant and pointless.
not sure where the other thread based on this went but heres the video again for those saying cuphead couldnt work with dialogue
I don't care.
It can looks good when it's correctly used, but the problem is that pretty much everuone and their mothers use it for no reason. So it always look like shit.
It will be shit. Cuphead DEMANDS cel animation, but Western animators have long forgotten how to animate anything without tweening. It's gonna be yet another oversaturated inconsistent toonboom garbage.
Out of all the sub, and I do mean sub in every definition of the word, strata of the eternal f*mnoid, thottica fujoshiticus exhibits the widest range of sexual preferences, almost approaching that of a man's.
I'd love it if there was an episode styled like Potty Emergency Animaniacs episode.
Basically, Mugman drank too much soda and now he s trying to find a bathroom thru the whole town. I love "Potty Emergency" episodes.
Based.
This is fucking hideous. I love it.
>le "ye olde cartoon style" meme
>netflix
>the current state of fandoms
I bet is going to suck a million gorilla dicks per second, but will keep a bit of optimism. I'm curious about how they pull it off.
This.
I actually know this overweight SJW lesbian geek from Minnesota who is absolutely obsessed with King Dice and Cuphead in general. She also came up with several headcanons about KD being homosexual and gets very butthurt whenever someone adorns agree with her (as well as harassing people who are shipping KD with girls & calling them "homophobes"). She has also cosplayed as KD last year at Animmeapolis.
She made like 10+ Cuphead OCs and all of them are LGBT in one way or another (she generally puts great focus on her OCs sexuality).
Oh, and she also has a fan made Cuphead boss who looks exactly like Berg Katze from Gatchaman Crowds. She even made a crossover called "Cuphead Crowds" where the evil Berg Katze lands in the Cuphead world and trolls everyone to death.
>I love "Potty Emergency" episodes.
why's that user?
I don't know how they're gonna keep up that 1930s artstyle for a TV budget and keep it looking authentic/good. Yeah, they made it work for a game but that game also took forever to make
>Gayflix
We all know it's gonna suck hard.
It'll be funny when the show has worse animation than the game it was based on.
Your mom was chromatically aberrated when making you.

Yeah, nothing wrong with this kind of people. They're perfectly normal, functional member of society.
I want it to look like this.
It all boils down to how the animation and soundtrack pan out for me, since those were what drew me to Cuphead in the first place, but I also have to say that even though the bosses are my favorite characters over Cuphead and Mugman themselves, I wouldn't want the focus to be too much on them but at the same time not to introduce completely new antagonists either. They may not be following the events of the game but I'd still want shenanigans like Sally Stageplay running stage tryouts but sabotaging anyone doing better than her or Brineybeard trying to excavate treasure he thinks is buried underneath Elder Kettle's house.
Regardless on whether it's good or not, I'm certainly looking forward to more Korean and Japanese fanart
cringe
Who is going to be the fag
>implying
on the whole, fat tumblr fujos and Yea Forums degenerates are opposite sides of the same coin
I'm waiting to see some kind of preview before I judge it.
>Not realizing that half of the Cuphead cast are in gay ships.
i'm hyped.
but that's a literal autist, user. if it wasn't cuphead it would be transformers or something.
it has a great aesthetic and almost no actual writing. the less detailed a character, the easier, people can latch onto it and make it into their own via fanfictions and such. it's the reason keeping worldbuilding vague around the edges will get you more praise.
they aren't. it's hand drawn digital.
Netflix will not be able to produce the visuals that gave Cuphead its charm. Cuphead basically has to be parlayed into a movie and have its marketing push hard to justify the budget, that's genuinely the only way to do anything satisfying with the IP.
