Yeah. I thought there was something sinister going on with the King- how he might actually turn out to be the real twist villain (kind-of) at the end like in svtfoe, with Viren as the red herring. I first suspected that he switched bodies with Viren, but somebody suggested that he switched bodies with the bird in the cage and that's probably the case.
But then, Viren wants the princes dead, so my whole theory of the King being a villain is out the window, or Viren is double-crossing the King with his own scheme within the King's scheme.
