He's literally on fire.
Being the unfavorite child fucks you up for life
Impotence?
Where tf did this come from?
It doesn't have to. See: East of Eden
The first victim of Delightfuliazation by Grandfather?
it's worse if your parent clearly knows you're the better kid, but dotes on the other because they're more pathetic/whiny. And then the other grows up to be a fuckup that fucks things up for the good kid and the parent. The moral is don't spoil your kid.
Who is this again? Real question.
There was no Mother.
C'mon, ya zoomer. KND isn't that old.
In my defense, I thought it was the KND guy, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't someone else.
Grandfather was a world-running despot, so Father learned to be a despot. He was forced to work in the mines like every other kid, so he never even learned kindness for his own family. It didn't help that he watched his own brother destroy Grandfather and wipe away their shared birthrite as leaders of the planet. This is also why Father was more willing to destroy snot-nosed brats. He'd seen the damage a motivated kid could do, so he developed Delightfulization to remove them from the equation.
His silhouette and civilian appearance both look like Clarissa's dad.
He hated his father but turned out just like him
Monty wasn't the favorite he just wan't a pussy.
He was literally a boomer
In the movie, Gramps said he always liked Monty more because he stood up to him and wasn’t a spineless bitch
Were talking about Clarissa Explains It All now?
Still pissed we didn't get Father going nuclear on grandfather after he got pissed off.
Him going "Fuck it I don't care anymore" just was such an anti-climax.
The delightful kids from down the lane were kids he literally kidnapped and mind raped into being how they were.
The "molestation" bit is taking it a bit far though.
So why'd his brother turn out to basically have satan fire powers and monty didn't?
Numbuh 1 dad's was the better one tho, he was the legendary numbuh 0.
Didn’t he defeat them in battle, not kidnap them?
I view an adult forcibly taking and imprisoning kids against their will as "Kidnapping" by definition whether or not they're operatives.
Even if a kid fights back an adult stealing them is kidnapping under law no matter circumstances
Too much Slack
Clarissa is a webcomic about a young girl being molested by her father and dealing with her mother and brothers treating her like garbage, alternating between telling her "she was leading her father on" (her mother) and tormenting her because they believe her being molested means she's the "unfavorite" and fair game for tormenting.
What the fuck? What the hell would possess someone to write that
Well then you have view it that exact same way when it happens to an adult. The circumstances are the same.
I.e. James Bond
I'm pretty sure abducting an adult would also qualify as kidnapping and wrongful imprisonment under law as well; The only difference is if they're a sovereign nation, but since father and the kids both live in the same country it'd still be kidnapping even if both parties are adults.
My point being that in tv and movies it’s general rule that whenever the villain defeats the hero they put them in some elaborate trap and then whatever happens after that happens.
So for James Bond, he gets put on some conveyor with a laser slowly moving towards him. If the villain succeeds Bond dies from laser. In fathers case, he beat them and delightfulized them. So, by the laws of entertainment he was perfectly legit.
But, if we’re applying our laws then of course the whole thing is just crazy
Give it a read user, it is really well done all things considered and probably comes from someone with either experience or knowledge of such an event.
Grandfather was a massive prick who abused him as a kid.
Wrong father user
His dad used to force-feed him broccoli
hear me out
He's an alternate universe clarissa where instead the child was a boy.
The molestation and rape made him grow up to be a heinous mish mash of uncaring father yet some kind of stockholm syndrome reincarnation of his own father
youtube.com
yeah but that moment was great
>Still pissed we didn't get Father going nuclear on grandfather after he got pissed off.
agreed
>Him going "Fuck it I don't care anymore" just was such an anti-climax.
also agreed, it wasn't even funny(though to be honest Operation ZERO wasn't even all that good of a movie for the most part)
Daddy issues.
Literally CANON daddy issues.
This biggest blueballing of my childhood ever. We were given proof that father was a proof to be badass and yet they give us this? Tragic.
I knew it was coming.
I still fucking opened it.
Shitty kids annoying him.
Okay....I guess if it’s actually being recommended by someone it can’t be as absolutely scarring as it sounds
