Why would seeing a Missing poster of the girl make him immediately realize she must be dead?

Like, the fact that her leg was totally broken is good enough reason why she would be considered missing.

Also, the expressions are so overtly silly, it kinda ruins the mood.

A valiant attempt, but I feel that it falls short of being successful.

Guys whats that comic with a monkey talking on a walkie talkie next to a mutilated soldier called?

the adventures of walkie the monkey and soldier sam

Does anyone have that one horror comic where it's from the perspective of a female android which ends with her getting her head bashed in with a sledgehammer because her owner wanted to make a video for Youtube

That one was pretty good.
I can't remember the title but I think I know how to find it.

What happens at the end? Did the fly turn into him but mindless? Or was he replaced by an even more grotesque monster?

read the current Immortal Hulk run

Are there any good horror anthology comics? Something like Junji Ito would be cool.

Horrific for plebs, maybe. Feels good to have an entire comic run dedicated to your fetish.

Attached: god.jpg (200x233, 13K)

Even though these are shit and you can tell they're amateurs, I still appreciate how hard they try. And they're still fun to read because I can let my imagination run wild

So, the coward did kill a shapeshifting monster. Bery spoopy, huh

God I wish I can draw

Wait no.

A man being called out to by a ghost as a trick to get her remains to a preferred resting place makes sense. That's a good twist for such a short story, and him getting over the fright and steadfastly, with somber respect deciding to keep carrying the bones would be a great ending that elevates it from just being scary to being emotionally resonant. All round an excellent story for so few panels.

But the man also being a skeleton? Just walking skeleton's for no reason? That's retarded.
That makes absolutely no sense? Why? Why doesn't she just walk if skeletons can walk? What?

How's the search, user?

Attached: Unbeatable_Squirrel_Girl_Vol_2_1.jpg (900x1366, 264K)

I just hate the artist, but the writing was okay.

BPRD?

It's Japanese, but Fuan no Tane (Seeds of Anxiety) gives me the creeps, 1/3 stories. Especially good, late at night, when everything is quiet around you. The sheer number that feel like actual ghost stories are great.

Attached: dog.jpg (595x842, 110K)

It's a time loop. The monster he saw while taking a bath was actually himself all along.

This was beautiful.

This one. Each story has a payoff panel.

I always read this when it pops out.

What's the appeal? It has really shitty art and the stories are basically just Twilight Zone rejects.

What's zhe appeal in Batman? He's just a Shadow/Zorro rip-off.

The brother killed the beast, the coward killed his brother, and the shapeshifter/zombie took his place

What was The Maxx even about? I vaguely remember a few episodes of the cartoon that made little sense but never figured out what it was about

Not sure. The Dreaming, maybe?

"Wytches." I wouldn't say it's scary, but it definitely has good atmosphere.

Attached: Wytches_1_1.jpg (1041x1600, 517K)

I keep suppressing my memories of this comic. Truly unsettling.

The coward "killed" the beast who shapeshifted into his brother, that's the only explanation for the body of the "brother" moving like that after a week of being down in the hole.

So did he kill the monster or his brother?

Is there anywhere online where I can read it or do I have to find a torrent

He killed his brother and the monster took his form, possibly because the corpse was tossed down the pit. The body in the pit was being animated, but it's safe to say it wasn't any sort of benevolent force.

Attached: Just Imagine.png (650x6874, 2.24M)

It's been a while since I read it, but I thought the brother was really his brother and the thing he thought he killed was a shapeshifting beast.

No, I think you're misinterpreting it. The brother who came back was real, it was the brother he "killed" that was fake, which is why there are now 2 of them alive, the real one in the city and the red-faced one in the hole. Basically BOTH brothers ran off originally, so the beast took the form of 1 and pretended to kill the beast to get the protagonist out of hiding. The protagonist "killed" his "brother" out of jealousy and to take the credit, and then goes back home with a scrap of his coat to show everyone. The real brother comes back, the protagonist notices the coat is perfect again, and everything seems to be "normal", but the protagonist is freaking out and has to be sure. He goes back to the hole to see if his brother is actually dead in the hole, and finds that even though it's much later in time the one he "killed" is still alive in the hole, confirming it to have been the beast the whole time as the real brother would have been dead in the hole.

I don't have a whole lot to add. It's not that scary but there's something dark about hurting people so callously. It's not a human but even then it still evokes a little of that dread. Maybe that's why it's so satisfying to see it break? Maybe our ancestors did stuff like this to slaves when they got bored? Anyway, here's the /tg/ thread that discussed it:
boards.fireden.net/tg/thread/60073504/#60079635

Attached: Wish This Was A Series.png (650x8000, 2.17M)

Then why wasn't his brother looking at him? And why was he digging at night?

I think it's the fact that it could feel pain.

Incase, The Invitation

Attached: 01_the_invitation_chapter_2_page_1.jpg (1280x1926, 365K)

I wonder how much is commentary on YouTube personalities who do fucked up things for clicks.

Thse korean comics are only good for the undressed korean girls thay have sometimes

I recall reading one about this guy who gets a job working at a mine, and he decides to work some late hours. He comes across something that he thinks is a lost child, but it turns out to be some kind of...I dunno, hillbilly vampire. It gets pretty dark from there.

Anyone have that or know what it's called?

Thank you for you determined search, user

I mean it's a mystery story that takes like a minute to read, there's gonna be loose ends.

Maybe the brother NEVER looks at his younger sibling much, but the protagonist is only noticing it now because he's hyper-focused on his older brother. Notice how even when the protagonist is freaking out on the way to kill the beast, the older brother is care free and just describing all the stuff they find, without even glancing at his younger brother while he's mentally stressing himself out.

As for the hole, it could be anything. It could just be a hole to bury the 3 animals the guy had killed by the beast in the past. It could be a hole because the older brother actually witnessed the younger brother killing the "beast" while it was disguised as him, and realizes it's either him or the brother and is digging a hole to bury his younger brother in, which could also lead to an alternate interpretation for why the older brother isn't looking at the younger brother. There could even be multiple shapeshifting beasts, all of which need a hole, and the "new brother" is also a shapeshifter making his den-hole at night.

There are no real answers, I doubt even the author had a specific set of answers in mind and wanted it open ended.

Fuan no tane is amazing! The only other thing I've found that comes close to that Junji Ito feel are a handful of obscure Korean internet comics and the first season of Yami Shibai

this was shit

Perhaps both are them were lost in the woods spiritually since they were dead to begin with, but once the dude found her it seemed that they were at peace... Ish

But he's a Shadow / Zorro rip-off with noteworthy stories. It goes from being a horror anthology to being Rick and Morty universe-hopping with two faggots.

The fuck is this shit?

It's centered around Julie and her coping with a tragedy. The cartoon's great, but it doesn't get nearly far enough to cover what the premise is really about.

This comic is terrible.

gore isn't scary

You're thinking of B.P.R.D., specifically the flashback sequence with Damio and his unit. Might have been in one of the 1st arcs, hollow earth. I know that sequence takes place really early in the story.

The Furry Trap. Like, Nobody knows about it and its some really good shit. Bleak and completely unmerciful.

Completely dissapointed.

More gore/porn rather than horror.

And when the wolf got lucky he discovered - too late, too late - she was packing heat.

Don't look too deeply into it, user. It's just a joke made out of an old horror story.

If you prefer you can think of them as skeleton-shaped ghosts.

Sloppy anatomy.

All of a sudden 'The Terminator' and 'The Matrix' don't seem like such a bad idea anymore.

This was scarier than pretty much everything in 'Immortal Hulk' so far.

Attached: Hulk shall smash.jpg (1000x1537, 356K)

>Bleak and completely unmerciful.

What is good about that?

>the batman section where he removes some hobos lips and mimics his screams

That sounds like 'American Psycho'.

Not at all. Slaves were valuable and after all, he was just destroying a thing. Which is more human - a fully conscious brain in a jar or an entirely artificial thing that looks like a human?

Is the entirely artificial thing self-aware? Does it feel pain and fear? How does it compare to the human?

I should add that the modifier 'human' doesn't really mean much to me in this context.

(Also, is a human brain in a jar really a human? Where do we draw the line?)

Please go on. Tell me how crap like The Exorcist is totally scary like you Yea Forums faggots always do.

is it based on the movie?

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, when it's actually being a horror comic, is one of the best comics ever period, horror or otherwise.

Does anyone have that old 4-panel/5-panel comic strip. It wasn't colored I think, just black and white. It was about this boy looking through his telescope and seeing a weird deformed lady with a long tongue. Soon the lady monster looks directly at him and starts running in his direction. She busts through his door and that's where the comic ends.

Ah yes, the "insane amount of timelines but only 1 actually is relevant" trope, as if there's no alternate timelines with similar outcomes.

you havent read it bro it has nothing to do with time travel. that guy is just timeless and crazy

The Furry Trap gets better and better the more I read. Wish there was a bit more explanation for some of the stories though, doesn''t even seem to be much online discussion of it.

nice im about to read it myself in a few ill come back and report

meh

The first couple stories are some of the best, it honestly gets a bit repetitive with later stories.

I seriously don't get some of the stories at all, for example they named the whole book after "The Furry Trap" story but I have absolutely no clue what that story is. There's.... a guy in a movie theater? And another guy touches his dick I guess? And then the toucher rushes outside and the touchee follows him while mad, and then he notices tons of blood on his crotch. And the toucher is singing some nonsense song about a "Furry Trap". I really don't get it, the early panels are hard to understand because a bunch of panels are seemingly from the movie the characters are watching, and the panels of "reality" don't seem to make any sense to me. I guess it's just "whoa it's random", but it feels like it should be more than that given it's the titlesake of the book.

imagine being able to draw and convert your ideas to good artwork

its a dream I always had I have the penmanship of an 8 year old so drawing is out of the question. on the other hand I have grand ideas I would love to put to comics.

2. use money to hire artists to make your ideas a reality

The Exorcist isn’t scary either. Demonic possession is completely unrealistic. The only was for any story to actually be scary is for it to be based in REALITY. Drawings are inherently unrealistic therefore they can never be scary

It's one of those "muh realism" faggots. He's probably one of those retards who thinks that one scene from Sicario is scary because it happens in real life. Better to ignore it.

If the psychology of possession was examined along with the religious and philosophical aspects, it might make for a better story.
Truly crazy people are terrifying, if you have never met one.
That being said, you are correct, no one has done a truly scary possession movie yet.

That's why Black Christmas is terrifying to me. The actor playing the serial killer portrays this well enough to be believably batshit insane instead of a generic evil sociopath like most serial killers on film.

Nigga you dumb there's no timeloop. The ending shows that he wasn't the first inhabitant of the house to experience a sighting and it's likely that sizeable amount of mutants like himself were abducted from that home.

Grow up.

God I fucking wish I can draw it hurts so much

She wore Blue instead?

Demonwood was my favorite, but I felt like I missed something about Bonecock.

demonwood was damn good. The kind that just leaves a bad taste in your stomach for a while.

well they are about to get impaled too, but I feel its more about how horrible and unreal the situation is + knowing you doomed your entire family to a terrifying death and they are gonna make you watch it. If I was the guy I would have never returned home.

I always figured it was the lack of quality disturbing or uncomfortable imagery that makes horror comics lag. It's what made SSTTITD so memorable, and makes japanese artists like junji ito stand out

Attached: 156.jpg (973x1400, 495K)

I'm not sure if I like or hate Junji Ito's endings. There's no satisfying conclusion but they do remain intriguing till the end.

Always wondered about what happened to Jane.

They are more like nightmares than horror stories. And nightmares don't really have conclusions.

FACE by peter milligan and duncan fegredo

Any comic that focuses on eerie imagery instead of gore or the threat of violence?

I dunno. Do you think Jennifer makes noises? I can't imagine her making any sort of pleasant noises.

I enjoy how many of them are just fucking unwinnable. Like the hanging balloons. There's literally no solution or explanation for why they exist.

This had potential but the ending is kinda weak.

I could make the structure colapse from down there.

Demonwood was certainly one of the most "full" stories, nothing in the collection actually tells a true beginning-to-end story but Demonwood comes pretty close to showing us a good part of the story at least.

I really liked the Elves one, the Christmas Eve one, and Demonwood, for sure. The elves and Demonwood both felt like full enough stories, I just wish we saw a little more in Christmas Eve, especially of the sister.

Truth is, the game was rigged from the start.

This is just sick.

Nooooo that's mean to Peach :(

I remember when someone who submitted a story for this series came on here and threw a gigantic bitch fit about these comics being considered horror, acting like it was a 2deep4u spiritual series about relatable, everyday things.

I wish I could have shoved this particular comic in their face.

That is a dude?

Josh Simmons's work has never failed to make me uncomfortable. Mark of the Bat was a great satire of Batman. The Furry Trap has some 2edgy4me stuff here and there but even that stuff can make you wince because of it's potential to be gory. His stuff is like reading nightmares.

There's an animation like that. It's more cute and sad than scary, though.

Danke Schoen.

Furry Trap seems more comedic than scary. Like someone read Electric Retard but was better at art and knew how to write short stories.

Well this is clearly just a fetish.

One of the most idiotic things I have ever seen.

And I have read and created some exceptionally idiotic stuff.

What was the context?

You know what hurts?

Being able to draw and just not fucking do it for months on end.

People are waiting for you. You know you are good. Not great, but good. And you give them what they want to the best of your ability and they enjoy it, and they give you money for it - you know you're inexpensive and you only make them pay afterwards, so that's all right.
You love to draw and you love to produce this stuff.

So why don't I do it?

Why am I here?

Well, it IS horror. And she is only a fictional character after all.

I just wonder what they were thinking. Is it even a fetish?

Which one?

If so, that didn't really work, did it?

Jack.

>Captcha was 'select all stoplights'
>all the stoplights were red.
It's the little things like that, really.

Any other horror comics that deal with fates worse than death besides this one, the dragon heart posted above, and the one with the future robot takeover? The idea of an "and I must scream" scenario is fucked up on so many levels that no matter how ridiculous or even fetishistic it's depicted, I always find it absolutely horrifying every time. By the way Yea Forums, is there a way to implement this trope poorly besides being over the top and written in an autistic fetish fuel way?

Attached: DvY2ANhV4AI-KeW.jpg (473x452, 26K)

Jack is not horror. It's drama.

I mean, most characters are literally in Hell. You can't START in Hell. There's nowhere to go but up.

You can't have a horror comic where God herself goes "It's gonna be alright. I believe in you. You can do it", and Satan is basically like that on the downlow and the villains are, in spite of their scariness, broken and tortured people.

This was a surprisingly good read. The Citizen Kane of autism, if you will.

Attached: neppy.png (254x646, 329K)

Its because it has become more of a job than something you actually enjoy. You now have deadlines, a responsibility to your commissioners, the pressure to improve and do your best work no matter what's going on with you personally. If you slip up even once you're fucked. You know from being on Yea Forums that people don't forgive and they don't forget.

You used to draw as a means of escape. You did it whenever you wanted and drew whatever you wanted.

Now you avoid it because it doesn't feel as rewarding as when you did it as a hobby.

If you want to experience something like that but in movie form I suggest you watch Lake Mungo. It's a mockumentary, and a slow burn, but the ending will haunt you once you understand that the girls greatest fear came true and her family is completely oblivious to it.

user, I am, in all sincerity, attempting to use a roundabout method to get people looking for horror and worldly diversions to consider the possibility of Christianity and to willingly accept the Lord God into their lives and hearts. Jack is an unexpected vehicle for this as some of the arcs do tackle horror and horrific subject matter, and those looking for a cheap and quick thrill often find themselves curious and drawn in to continue the tale. And while it has not aged particularly well as a story, there is always at least one part of an arc that tends to stick with the reader.

You don't know the people on Furaffinity.

They are the sweetest, most forgiving crowd I know.

I am letting them down.

>user, I am, in all sincerity, attempting to use a roundabout method to get people looking for horror and worldly diversions to consider the possibility of Christianity and to willingly accept the Lord God into their lives and hearts.

That is diseased.

And you probably should not have owned up to that.

And now, whenever you think of that comic or hear that name, you will wonder if a servant of the Lord is watching and waiting.

Whether a servant of the voices in his head is...

"Watching and waiting"? How does that even work? While I am reading an online comic?

Anyway, do I care? No. 'Jack' is, in any event, hardy a gateway drug to Christianity.

>Furaffinity
how do I get into drawing/drawing anthros? this is something I legit want to do, not gonna do commissions if I got good

Maybe horror is not for you, user.

I don't know user, maybe you should go talk to someone on /trash/ about it? Maybe they can give you some better advice.

You've lost your roots. What made you want to draw in the first place? What were the subjects you wanted to draw, and what did you want to make out of them? Also, you say you're "letting down" previous fans, but you're really
only letting down yourself by not living up to your potential, and it sounds like you're not living up to your potential because you're afraid of 3 equally terrifying scenarios; blowing it and disappointing people, not getting any response, or blowing up and getting even more eyes to satisfy. You are putting way too much unnecessary pressure on yourself by viewing this hyper-objectively. Your anxious mind is illogical but will try to make you believe you're thinking logically by simulating every possible bad thing, but what actually ends up happening (if you take action instead of hide in avoidance) is far from what you imagined happen, because you can't predict anything in life. You are premeditating your own failure by expecting other people will either like or dislike your work, and you'll never live up to your own expectations. So, draw, share, and expect nothing. Why do you still do it? Because, no matter how little you think of yourself, or how much you aren't living up to your potential, you should still always put yourself out there for people to find and discover; because you never know who will see it and what kind of relationships and opportunities can stem from that. So, draw what you love, expect nothing from it, and just focus on making yourself the best possible artist you can be. Hopefully good things happen, but even if they don't, at least you can have security in knowing you have an imagination and the ability to express it.

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on this rape?

Gross. I looked it up and it's just a disgust-fest with no purpose. Wow so crazy and edgy.

Pretty sure the murder clique killed her.

Junji Ito's short stories can be solid, but his longer works tend to leave me cold. The lack of any explanation starts to become too frustrating, and his characters are usually somewhat flat. Which is fine in the short stories, as they're just a vehicle through which we experience whatever weirdness is happening, but it grates in something like Hellstar Remina.

>diseased
how so?

Is there a good horror comic involving cuckoldry?

No sex scene needed on panel, just implication is enough.

Oh come off it.

...? You just do it. You don't need anyone to hold your hand. Draw an anthropomorphic animal or, more accurately, a therianthropic human.

As I get older, I find I dislike horror and violence less. Maybe that's a universal thing.

Thank you.

I consider religion a mental disorder.

The more enthusiastic and involved, the more diseased.

...Go on.

Edgy. You should honestly stop caring about what other people do/think so much

>You just do it. You don't need anyone to hold your hand
ok, any tips? will a reg pencil do for now? thanks for the motive to get started

Fair point, but that story still fucks me up.

That only makes what the other guy said worse. In addition to the obligation you're also getting a bad conscience.

That has no real context, it's a dude somewhere he shouldn't be and a little spirit/monster boy saying bad things to him.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/AndIMustScream/ComicBooks

There ya go, pick anything on that page.

And yes you can do it poorly, you're attracted to the trope itself so you probably have blindness to it but you can absolutely be too edgy or not edgy enough with that trope, on top of just making shitty versions of it.

I will when it doesn't affect the world anymore.

Just start with a pencil. I start with a pencil sketch, then ink with a fineliner. I am sure many people use much better tools.
Tablets are very much the standard too. But I am old-school.

Pain is a good motivator. Someone I care about a great deal has been making me draw last week.

Oh okay.

He goes home and finds his cowering family surrounded by more of the things, and the story ends.

user...why do you have this?

That's not much of a story, is it?

Fearmongering for converts seems a bit... unethical maybe?

Because it is beautiful, I should imagine.

It is from a 'Hellraiser' comic, I see, and one of the more bearable ones.

In his defense: 'Jack' can't be called 'fearmongering'. Its doctrine, if it has one, has very little to do with Christianity.

One thing that keeps coming back is that committing suicide gets you sent to Hell automatically.
Another, that you can leave Hell.

Nice perpetuation of the cycle faggot.

I'll admit to being unfamiliar with it, but using the threat of Hell to terrify people into becoming Christian never felt right to me.

...It shouldn't, because it is fucking sick. Especially with children.

But I don't think it could ever work with 'Jack'. It's more about personal drama than doctrine, anyway.

.....That's the whole point of the comic.

I'm scared

It's not a full story, but it's not supposed to be. It's the "good" part of the story, with the rest left out. It's in the compilation book The Furry Trap, all of which are very short little comics full of black comedy.

Let's make our own horror comic, Yea Forums! I'll be the writer, you guys will be the artists and editors.

What about some unexpected horror? Like it's all lighthearted at first and then the horror melts my dick off

This one by Uno Moralez is like the perfect encapsulation of my irrational fears. Seeing something you're not supposed to, and then locking eyes with it, and then it covers the distance between you almost instantaneously. It's like BOB climbing on the couch in Twin Peaks: the creator obviously shares the same nightmares as me.

Attached: moralez_telescope.jpg (503x3375, 570K)

Already in the thread

I always thought this was an Itoh from the art.

So what actually happens here? Is there a follow up?

I've never understood the final panel. Is it the guy, having been "monsterized" by the woman? Is it a clone of himself, cutting off his escape path and helping her ambush him?

>denounces religion
>is a furry
Holy shit hahahahahahaha The only sick person here is you

The woman monster birthed a copy of him in panel 3. The copy I assume is trying to steal his identity?

Blast is the one that got me.

I think this too. It's why his brother can't look him in the eye. But there are other ideas that it was all a hallucination

It's more the scared and aroused kind of horror.

Attached: 0.png (1068x1650, 1.23M)

Attached: 1.png (1618x2500, 2.65M)

The brother was the beast.

That's why he offers to hunt "the beast" together after his brother brings it up. To avoid his brother the embarassment.

Breaks character and doesn't comment on the smell of the hole ( the only thing it doesn't dismiss as ordinary). It smells like lilac, the bush next to his home. The same bush that covers its face when it refuses to look at his younger brother. The beast and the older brother also have the same exact eye shape.

Shapeshifts to scare his brother into hiding and boost his moral convincing him they've done a great deed together. Younger brother the only character in the story the older/beast shows care for out of pity/love.

Younger brother betrays him for the love of the people and wife the shafeshifting brother never even considered

With his last tether to humanity broken, the beast must protect its identity... But still cannot bring itself to kill its young brother in cold blood.

It decides to reciprocate the actions of the younger brother, by also being deceptive in showing its hate. It wants the younger brother to understand by itself the nature of his elder, and his true motivation for going on the hunt with him.

The younger brother finally realizes this as well as his brother's true nature while looking at the lilac bush after the "why won't he look at me?" line.

He had realize at that point (is the my brother whole?) that his brother was the beast. The reason he would not look at him was because his fate was already sealed.

The younger brother decides to investigate the hole, unaware that his elder also has an evil in him greater and terrible than his own. An evil he did his best to shelter his sibling from.

And that's... why I'm unemployed.

So have I. I always go back to the knife slicing off bits of my legs and arms (had that one since I was a kid), but the eye thing is something I imagine too. Why is that?

Well shit.

So I don't know if this means that they'll finish the art, or that they're continuing the story.

I do know that this was based on a comic about a certain family that is very loud. I just got it off of a Yea Forums thread later, which is serendipitous because I never visit there, but it was on the main page.

Chapter 1 has been on Sadpanda for a while. Someone apparently also grabbed the comic from that thread, or the poster did a solid, and posted the other two chapters there. Here's a link to the artists tag

I assume that this loops back to the first image. The clock is a major hint.

So, wait, that's the end??

I don't think adding a denouement where she tries to cover up the murder, fails, goes to a mental institution/ prison on the testimony of her brother, etc., whatever would add much to the story.

WHAT MURDER? That was the whole point I was making earlier - What secret were they referring to? They were way too vague in their conversations.

i've been reading this and blast at the same time. i feel wierd and sad... but thanks anyway i don't know what i expected

>What secret were they referring to?
the incest?

The secret was that they were fucking. The sepia pages explain how that got started. If there's any murder, it's at the end/ the very first page. The second page begins
>earlier that day...

I know what I wanted (tearful confessions and a getting better montage so they could have their heads on straight and have some nice, wholesome incest), but I figured that one way or another it was headed for a bad end.

>the incest?
>The secret was that they were fucking.
But the way they were talking made it seem like the incest came about as the result of some other incident.

There were several instigation's, covered in the sepia flashback pages. She caught her brother fapping, her boyfriend was using her and she dumped him so her brother comforted her and so on.

...Well that's fucking stupid. When the comic starts off with "You should have just killed me" and the sister has red eyes, weird hypno eyes, pointy teeth, and a thing for blood throughout the comic, I expect something a little meatier than "my boyfriend made me sad."

>"my boyfriend made me sad."
there was obviously more going on with her. the bf said she acted bipolar and she was mad with insecuritys brought on by her sister

Something like her sister catching her fucking their drugged brother?
Again, look at the clock on the main page. What time did she saw would be rape o'clock while she was waiting at the couch?

I have been this friend.

I thought the book ended with her on a coma and her fate unknown?

Surprised I haven't seen Al Columbia mentioned yet. Some weird shit.

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me, how would his brother be a shapeshifter the entire time when it was never established? I think it's pretty obvious that there are two entities, the brother and the beast and the jealous brother accidentally "killed" the beast who shapeshifted to look like his brother and his brother probably witnessed this and was probably shaken up by witnessing his brother kill a facsimile of himself and tell everyone he was dead.

>Decides this thread could use some Junji Ito
>Goes searching for some
>Finds one called Layers of Fear
>Oh cool, I've never seen this one bef--OH MY FUCKING GOD

Do tell.

You reminded me of a comic about a guy who is tricked into having sex with a girl hes always had a crush on, but it ends up she was just using him to fulfill her boyfriends cuck fetish and the ending of the comic has him getting in a car accident and paralyzed and the girl takes him in to take care for him and all he can do is lay their motionless while they fuck. .

It's just a shitty comic that lacks consistency. You can tell towards the end the creator threw in the twist last minute

My favorite horror format is anthologies, where the comics aren't allowed to drag on too long. Are there any decent, recent, ones? I've read all of Fuan no Tane and Junji Ito's work, along with a lot of older EC ones.

Welp, I'll go to my grave wishing I had never read that. Thanks!

There actually is more to the backstory. The secret hasn't been revealed yet.

Actually, from what I've seen, one person got really close to guessing the answer, but not completely.

>I don't know if this means that they'll finish the art, or that they're continuing the story.

Both. First the inked pages go up, and then chapter 4 will be posted shortly after that. There's about 45 pages left to get through.

There was this comic posted here around Halloween, it was about 4 issues, a family gets stranded at an old hotel/apartment building and ghosts start trying to murder them and possess their bodies. It was good but had a really unsatisfying ending. Does anyone remember what it was?

Swain?

I'm guessing it's not the "mental healing and wholesome incest" comment.

I don't mean in this thread. But from other discussions, some months back, one person got close.

Sadly, it'll be a few more months before the answer comes out in issue 5.

>posts vague ass description and expects reply
nobody knows? I think the eye thing was trying to kill a girl as well?

Well shit. forgot to link the first post.

Well, have fun drawing it, I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

I did get spooked at first but the mother casually tearing her own face off actually made me laugh which kinda ruined the vibe.
Surprised this one hasn’t been posted yet

I really like the theory but I'm not sure if it fits. Why was the older brother already in the hole at the end again if he's playing pretend in the town again? Is his family in on it? Like surely never sleeping at home is something worth his wife's consideration.

I'd add that if that WAS a theory, adding that his own animals died 3 times is relevant. It paints him as somewhat less evil, going for his own instead of only doing it to other people. Like a vampire that must feed, but tries to avoid hurting others, he has to eat animals and goes for his own when possible.

So wait, was the loud house version basically a parody of this, or the other way around where this is a more realistically drawn version of that?
