I don’t think male anons get that it isn’t just opportunities women are attracted to. Women are attracted to a man’s accomplishments and associate that with him. Beatrice (no surname, just an alias she's held onto) is an ex-wetworker for a rogue, deep state project with the aim of creating better agents through augmentation. In Bea's case, denser muscles and bones, with a brain implant that enhances her reflexes to superhuman levels when overclocked. On the exterior, Bea seems like a wholesome sort. Doesn't smoke or drink in excess, works as a waitress at a club(with bunny suits as a uniform), and struggles with a lack of skills outside of surreptitious or overt murder. See, she enjoyed most of her duties, until one job ended with massive civilian casualties; this made her question everything about her life, and led her to desert when the opportunity arose. Another point that makes this difficult is while she's lost the taste for killing itself, she's still enamored with the art of it, particularly watching the carnage she wreaks in slow-motion. She knows it's fucked up, and wants to change, but when the opportunity arises to indulge, Bea is wide-eyed and giddy in the thick of carnage.
Padmavati "Paddy" Sultana, on the other hand, has nothing BUT practical life skills. Before the implant stunted her, she was a good Shia muslim girl; wanted a peaceful life with a good muslim husband. After, however, her faith died in resentment and bitterness. As soon as she moved out, it was a quick descent in sin, eager to hyper-compensate for her slight stature and appearance with an angry, sinful exterior. She contrasts with Bea, as for all her rage and bitterness, Paddy's life hasn't been terrible, all sound and fury not genuine horrors, aside from how her and Bea meet(attempted kidnapping/murder by her younger brothers.)
