How much plot do yall think is gonna be in it? From what we've seen I can assume its going to have the unaired Trial episode threaded in, maybe more. Hell it might be the first in a series of films, invader dib being next.

The movie simply does not exist. Jhonen blew the production budget on hair gel and candy, so instead we'll be treated to a 55-minute loop of "Zim Eats Waffles" followed by an incomplete animation reel based on the comic series.

Jokes aside, i remember Jhonen talking about Viacom executives getting impatient about the movie, and the movie crew taking all their time to make this movie as good as possible. People at Nick were mad about it yet Netflix got involved so yeah, Nick people can go fuck themselves.
Also Jhonen deleted a bunch of scenes 'cause those looked way too perfect for the movie. Jhonen seems to still be a chaotic neutral powerforce.

I lost all interest and hope when it was disclosed that it would primarily be based on the comics I've already seen. What a waste of a production. There was no point in doing this. If they refused to come up with new material, they could have at least just done The Trial, the best script every written for the series.
