The main cast of Young Justice is aged between 22 and 25

Why do they act and look so much older than their age ???

I'm 25 and I still live with my parents, I have no job and no gf

Even Roy Harper who is the same age as me has a daughter somehow

????

Attached: Capture.png (884x426, 250K)

Maybe they are more mature due to being superheroes and working since a young age?
Or maybe you are just a fucking loser OP?

/thread

It’s an action cartoon. Even kids and teenagers act like grown adults in action cartoons.
Also most people IRL have a job or live on their own at 25, you’re just a loser.

well which is it ? I hope it's the former

You know Roy Harper is much younger? He’s only 10yo.

not my fault no one wants to hire me despite having spent 4 years in college to earn a degree in British civilization

Roy had that child when he was like 16.

>British civilization

That’s your issue.

>Even Roy Harper who is the same age as me has a daughter somehow
To be fair he was a teen parent.

OP not everyone has the same life as you. Plus these are heroes who put their lives at risk and have lost friends.
Kaldur in your picture lost his girlfriend, friend, found out his dad was a super villain, and had to step up to be the next Aquaman. Not only that, but has to be the leader of the Justice League. No way is he going to act immature.

i can excuse living with parents. this country is tough. i can excuse no girlfriend. women are stinky doodoo heads.

but user. no job?

>a degree in British civilization

that took four years?

OP I hate to tell you but you are a loser. I had all of that after I graduated high school and I knew people who had that even earlier.

I’d love for another Addam’s Family series, but it would probably be SJW as hell.

I repeated my third year

Probably it's both.

I had my degree in 2016 and don't feel like returning to school, I just want to work
I've been sending billions of resumés to no avail for three years

I guess we do live in a society

>Not only that, but has to be the leader of the Justice League

Wut ? What's Superman doing ?

And now he's the proud owner of a clipboard
OP is just a loser

Attached: The Clipboard doesn't Lie.jpg (1920x1080, 280K)

>Why do they act and look so much older than their age ???

Because they're superheroes. They've seen some shit. They literally watch Halo get brutally murdered every single day.

>I'm 25 and I still live with my parents, I have no job and no gf
Well, that's your fault. Maybe you should get a job, find an apartment, and download a dating app.

Attached: 1541265095531.jpg (1280x1280, 239K)

>he hasnt seen the trailer for the new cgi movie

Attached: 2jquz1.jpg (1286x997, 118K)

Will this get a 4th season? They've introduced so much stuff and there's only like 9 episodes left in season 3

Dating apps are a waste of time
It's so impersonal and fake

You probably should go back for a teaching license.

There's no reason why it wouldn't

I've been thinking of immigrating to America
My dream is to work in a library, do American libraries hire easily ?

don't worry about it op most everyone with a job hates it and doing it everyday ages you to death

take your time with life

Most people are established in their careers and are married with kids by 25. Even urban onions manage. The cast of Young Justice is right in line with where everyone should be at that age.

Yes. They’re always looking for new librarians. Issue is that it’s low pay.

Stuck in space with other league members that are investigating the whole meta trafficking problem. They needed someone to be in charge back at Earth.

Then it's settled, I'll come to America and found a career there

Teachers all have graduate degrees now. Alternative licensure (since he doesn't have a degree in education) has always been a dicey project, but now he'd get the license and find himself just as unemployable.

Well Roy Harper is basically white trash, so it’s more shocking he or DIck Grayson don’t have Wilt Chamberlain number of kids at 25

Uh...librarian is one of the quickest disappearing fields out there.

Really ? Darn

What do I do now

Historically Dick never gets chance to have kids because he can't keep a stable relationship. He seems to have one right now with Babs.
I guess there was that one time he did have a kid, but that was with Starfire...

Just worries me because the streaming service seems so unstable
Swamp thing got cancelled after the first episode and Doom Patrol still isn't renewed for a second season

>Swamp thing got cancelled after the first episode and Doom Patrol still isn't renewed for a second season

and that's a good thing !

They should have kept it on Netflix or partnered with some other service that guarantees a stable income.

Doom Patrol is probably renewed considering how they are making a SDCC panel.

Depends on when you live. In my country, most people live with their parents until they're 30.

Are you italian

You're in really, really the right direction. A little worse.

Albanian ?

You skipped the obvious. Literally the middle step between the two.

France ?

it's not

Greece.

You also need a degree to work in a library.

Why do I need a degree to put books on a shelf and type words in a search engine

Kaldur's Co-Chairman alongside Wonder Woman. I never really got the impression that Chairman = Leader/Boss. In season two Captain Atom was Chairman and then he handed off the position to Black Canary, and neither of them really strike me as "Leader of the Justice League" material.

I don't even think most of the incarnations of the Justice League actually have an official leader. I think the Chairman position is more like a bureaucratic position, or maybe something closer to the job Martian Manhunter and Mr. Terrific did in Justice League Unlimited.

Attached: boss mabel.jpg (500x367, 45K)

it's a boomers depiction of how millennials/zoomers are, user. don't worry, your situation (and mine) is much more common than what the show would have you believe

Attached: h7ngQ74.jpg (1280x513, 146K)

Because unlike a basement dweller such as you they have responsibilities and fight criminals for a living? That sort of thing changes you.

I couldn't watch the third season of this because they made the Markovians speak heavily accented Latvian for some ungodly reason, which is my native language.
Almost died of cringe watching the first episode.

finally a kinsman

i think Weisman said the leadership of the JL is rotative.

>Also most people IRL have a job or live on their own at 25
Not if you're Latino.

I'm 25 have had a job for the last few years and live away from home. I know people who have had children when they were 18.

He's a smart guy. Private security is an easy way for a guy with superhero training to make good money.

Why did he quit being a hero ?

To be a dad

Why can't he do both

Learn to program a digital library service instead.

Welcome to America, I wanted the same kind of work but the pay is garbage and they need a bachelor's degree specifically in "Library Science"

Because he wants his full attention on raising his daughter

They act a bit more mature than normal young adults because of the shit they've been through, but living with your parents with no job or gf at age 25 is just you being a fucking loser lol.

Cause there's actually more to running a library than just stocking books.

idk, WB is dumb as hell and doesn't seem to know what the fuck they're doing, especially since the AT&T went through

Still one of the better episodes

>He seems to have one right now with Babs
People have been saying this since the 90s.

Because the whole clone thing really mentally fucked him up. His whole drive to be a hero was because of his mental programming to get higher into the JL ranks, so once that was revealed he signficiantly lost interest.

He's also a dad yeah, but that doesn't stop other heroes so I suspect it's more about the clone thing.

They've been fighting crime for years and have seen friends their age die, so that kind of matures you quickly.

That being said though, most of them are heroes full time, or have a side job mostly for hero cover. Very few of them work 9 to 5's and most of their housing is set up by their League connections who are all very wealthy and influential people. Superboy fixes bikes out of his garage as a side hustle mostly for something to do, Kaldur is a fulltime superhero/Atlantian warrior, Dick seems to run off his trust fund while being a fulltime spy/hero.

Enjoy it, I married at 18, had my first kid at 20 and life has been mostly work and being a slave to my children (which I love but oh man I can't wait till they are self-sufficient) and whatever time I have left it's the wife.

It's rare when I can post on Yea Forums so I'm taking advantage of today.

Clone Roy ain't 16 years old. He is way younger than that.

>He is married and has children
>Yet still enters Yea Forums
Dude, don't make it so easy...

Well OP you've wasted your life, you're too old to be hired anywhere.
My advise: kill yourself and stop being a burden to your parents.

Because he is a coward.

>I want a girlfriend but things that help me meet girls are a waste of time >:(

Okay.

Because that's not how library's work. You'd know that if you actually wanted to work in a library. If it's really your "dream" to work in a library, one would think that you'd actually google this shit.

How have you never heard of a library sciences degree if your dream is to be a librarian? Or were you just shitposting?

Attached: 1497760597427.jpg (400x400, 80K)

I think that the "dream" factor no longer applies now, he needs a job now...any job.
He wasted precious years studying a dead end career.

Mostly meant in context with the show, last I checked he broke up with this other girl he was dating in the comics. And before that Barbara got in an argument with him.

>aged between 22 and 25
No.

The show confirms that Dick is a freshman and Wally is a sophomore.

>I'm 25 and I still live with my parents, I have no job and no gf

Jesus. I thought when I moved out at almost-20 was pathetic. Always a blacker kettle, I guess.

There are a surprising number of librarian stories online that deal with homeless people coming in and pissing everywhere or having to ask patrons to please refrain from using the library's Internet to look up child porn. That, and the usual rude customer stories that anybody who deals with the general public will identify with.

It's not the Introvert dream job that some people make it out to be.

Literally fucking no one has their own place at 19, stop being a bitch. Most college-aged 18-22 y/o kids still live at their parents' homes when they're not in school.

this. in fact in many countries its normal to live with your parents until like 30 or something. its not really pathetic, although not having a job to at least support them kinda is

>Literally fucking no one has their own place at 19

I was a militarycuck and got a place off-base when I got the chance.

It's totally doable if you've got a job that pays decent.

Without a job he will never get a girlfriend.

>It's totally doable if you've got a job that pays decent
>19 with no college degree
Therein lies the problem. You're an exception to the rule.

Lmao get certified in something like a trade or some shit, you will never find a job off your waste of loans diploma

Not everybody can join the military, only the people that doesn't know what to do with their lives join it.

>only the people that doesn't know what to do with their lives join it.

Except OP.

Fuck off we’re full

Not even. People that go through a trade school also get decent jobs right out of HS.

>Fictional Characters make me feel inadequate about myself

I love how half this thread is just shitting on poor OP

OP should have thought better than spilling his sad spaghetti life on a South African Jumping Rope forum

Just assume that the Job and Dating Market in the DC Universe isn't as difficult as the real world and you'll feel better.

You are a faggot too

Thanks man I try my best.

While your life is becoming the new norm there are still plenty of people living with more responsibility who are younger than you. Honestly though I rather have what you got, I may live alone at 22 and have a job, but I live in a fucking dump, my job pays jackshit so I am still reliant on my parents to survive and still no gf.

OP, I will be honest and ask you:
Are you sure this is a problem of the show or is this a problem about your life choices?

I'm turning 26 in september, do I still have time to redeem myself ?

The wiki says Artemis is 22, Aqualad is 23 and Roy is 25

I know, that's why I'm looking for a job
I've also strated taking driving lessons but I'm terrible at it

this is unfortunately true these days.
hopefully we get a decent president and people can go to college again so more people can have better opportunities to improve.
it's not the only way of course, being a plumber or electrician is an almost future proof career.

nah, the age limit is 30 if anything, that's when you cross that threshold where people start looking at you funny for not having a life.

>Live on their own at 25
Actually in pretty much everywhere that’s not America families live together for generations in a single house (I.e. the grandma and grandpa live in the same house as you and your parents). This is because the grandparents offer to watch your kids, so don’t have to pay for childcare.

people are starting to get it more now.
it's better to stay with the family and help them out instead of essentially throwing money away by renting a place and giving that cash to some asshole landlord.
people with shit families have an excuse of course.

I think my library mostly rents out movies, games and gives out free wifi...

He and Chesire both agreed to leave "the life" when their daughter was born. She left him to go back into it because she's invested too much of her identity into being a skilled assassin. He's sticking it out because it provides stability and relative security, plus he's still hoping Chesire comes back one day.
Hopefully when he's not balls deep in her sister.

>Or maybe you are just a fucking loser OP?
Honestly, this, user.
I'm 20 and i already have a job AND i'm managing to pay for Uni and my friend who's the same age already has a daugther and a son. You're just a loser user.

>Even Roy Harper who is the same age as me has a daughter somehow
Roy is canonically as much a slut as Dick is, at least in the comics.

What a fucking waste, stop leeching off your elderly parents and re-evaluate your life. You wasted tens of thousands of pounds on a useless degree, you should be ashamed OP.

>Between Italy and Albania
>France
This is the state of American education, spend more time learning shit and less time shooting kids

user. I'm 23 and I have a job.

It's normal to be at home until like 22 or 23, if the average Masters degree takes 4 years and you start at 18. Past 23 I'd be really worried if you're not somewhat self-sufficient, like at least be an online artist or something. Leeching off old people is sad, given most fuckers return their parents hard work by dumping them in care homes or leaving them all alone

You'll get there user. It took me 4 tries to pass but was totally worth it when I did, I passed at 20 so it was a great confidence boost and once I graduated I was pretty much fully self-sufficient. Definitely learn to drive.

Most people don't start their master's degree at 18, user.

I know right. Everyone know that you start your PhD at 18.

Yeah you do if you do well in your A-levels and get accepted onto a Master's course. Sure you can advance onto masters from a bachelors if you do well enough but it's still just an extra year on top (more for stuff like veterinary medicine)

i know that, i'm really trying to get a job

17/18 to graduate High School and enter into a Bachelor's Program

4 years to get your Bachelor's at least, assuming no change in field.

2 years to get a Master's Degree, some fields are less others are more. For example, as you brought up Online Artist, it takes 3 years to get a Master's in Illustration and to qualify for a Master's in Illustration in Art Centre or other schools that will actually get you a job, you need to be a published illustrator as well as have an indepth portfolio review.

3 years to get a PHD on top of that.

So:
22+ for more to get a Bachelor's.
24+ for a Master's.
27+ for a PHD.

I'm 26 and I left my parents house at age 17
since then I also became a software engineer, moved to another country, and have $100,000 in the bank (in 3.5 years on my shitty Asia software salary of $60k a year)

I feel like 25 is old enough to be pretty mature

can you teach me to be a software engineer please

nah but you can learn to be a software developer on the internet

you just need a project to motivate you to learn to code. if you teach yourself your code will probably be pretty shitty (at least mine was when i did that) but then if you get lucky you can get your foot in the door to a job with senior engineers and learn from them

oh and just to add, in college they don't teach you how not to write shitty code - that (IMO) requires experience or learning from experienced people (plus maybe a little bit of personal aptitude)

My parents gave up on teaching me how to drive after they decided my terrible spatial awareness and reasoning is a hazard on the road. I almost hit another car multiple times (one or two I accidentally touched bumper with) the times I tried to change lanes :(

Are you in the states? Figures. Here in th UK a bachelor's in engineering is 3 years and a master's is just an extra year, a PhD is optional. All in all you can have an MEng in 4 years. It might be longer or shorter in Scotland, but that's what it is in England

Agreed. It was pretty much an early season episode of Archer, and I mean that as a compliment.

Welcome user! May your travel and settling and job hunt go smoothly or with at least the fewest hiccups.

Which is a shame as that represents the rapid collapse of public spaces you can just BE or EXIST in without the expectation of spending money to justify your presence. I see a ton of the better funded libraries constantly doing community and youth events to keep people coming to the library but it seems to no avail. Meanwhile the tech industry keeps trying to reinvent existing things and charge a premium.

Try having a dead end job thats a foot in the door in your field that hasn’t gone anywhere in ten years, being divorced, in your thirties, and moving back with your folks while in a depressed fugue about it all and accomplish nothing but the grind in 4 years. That’s being a loser.

>I'm 25 and I still live with my parents
That's nothing extraordinary over here.
t. europoor

Almost all shows don't get the behavior of the character's target age group right

>Doug, he was 11, but acted like he was 16-17
what 11 year old goes out of state for concerts?
>Arthur was 8, but acted 13-15
What 11 year old goes to the sugar bowl
>Terry Mcginnis acted like a college or young adult even though he was in highschool

No one has mature relationships like that in highschool or that physche for that matter.

The list goes on.
As for your situation dude
I can understand
Here's my deal

>Graduated college at 21
>got job at age 22 the next month but it was shit bc it was my first job
>$13 an hour
>folks said it made no sense to move because I lived 15 mins from the studio
>worked that for a year and a half
>company shut down
>24-25 I am looking for new jobs and living at home
>find job a month after turning 26
>$25 an hour, still can't leave
>didn't move out till 28 after getting a job that payed $40

Attached: download (2).jpg (203x248, 11K)

Op.... it's because you're a loser
