Jesus no wonder DC is shutting everything down

>Immortal Hulk STILL outselling Batman
What a time to be alive. I'm so fucking happy for Ewing that he FINALLY has a book that isn't living perpetually on the edge of cancellation.

so did that shotacon boycott of Bendis actually affect the sales of his shit?

Good on Black Cat, it was actually a nice read.

>HULK OUTSOLD BATMAN AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME

Attached: HNH.png (476x501, 382K)

Batman outsells him twice?

They mean the main book.
Problem is it's two issues a month, so it actually sells more.

Batman as in the ongoing "Batman."

Glad to see Die doing well.

Yeah, it's a terrific series. I need to grab that Vol.1 soon.

>Immortal Hulk STILL outselling Batman

Attached: 123491723.jpg (613x819, 167K)

> 3. SILVER SURFER: BLACK #1 (MAR)
It's gonna drop real hard. Let's see how many of the fans are actually interested in seeing the Knull shit once again.

>It's gonna drop real hard.
As does Black Cat, if possibly not for the JSC covers

Also:
>Kirkman outselling the Batman ongoing for the first time ever

Well Walking Dead is finally ending so it's to be expected.

I'm thinking it's over for the bat.

Felicia = Sales

Felicia best girl as always

Nyaice desu.

Attached: 1501633650104.jpg (838x1024, 70K)

Her manga better improve the art soon, it's not really pleasant

Her manga?

Did anyone storytime Black Cat #2? The art managed to be even worse

This, the art was really bad in the issue. I hope they get someone like Iban Coello to draw it, his Black Cat looked really good
I don't think no one has, but how much worse did it get?

Attached: RCO005_1552094857~2.jpg (272x544, 54K)

BASED MARVEL double shipping and giving stores 100% extra FREE books so they can get the #1 sales spot.

Attached: BASED.png (621x117, 18K)

Yet another dishonest tactic revealed. Why are Marvelcucks celebrating this again? Batman will never lose to Hulk.

Then why the fuck did my LCS run out of copies? Fuck

I like how you deviate from the current sales report to talk about a series that hasn't even come out yet and push a narrative that isn't quite there. How about you tell us how many of the titles in the current top 10 as we know it were overshipped?
Oh and I like how you only copied the title with no indication of the actual article, here, let me do it for you:

>We told you before that Marvel Comics was to overship the launch issue of the new series Loki #1 by 100%. However, we have now been informed that this overship has dropped to 50%.

>It joins recent overships for Aero #1 (out today) Agents of Atlas #1, Invaders #3, Marvel Comics Presents #3, Spider-Man: City at War #2 and Magnificent Ms Marvel #2.

>Bleeding Cool first reported on Marvel doing this back in 2012 and it came and went sporadically since. When it happened, again and again, we ran articles about it. But it hasn’t happened to any statistically significant degree for a couple of years now.

>But of late we’ve had it happen to about one or two books a month. Not enough to make any major statistical shifts. But maybe enough to help new titles launch.
>Source: BLEEDING COOL

seething

>Didio hope.jpg

They binned them all.

Attached: the-tears-of-dc-fanboys-yummy.jpg (480x360, 86K)

>Source: BLEEDING COOL
Oh the desperation.

And the worst part is, the article itself says it's only happening with one or two titles a month tops, unlike years ago when it was a linewide issue.

>9. BATMAN #73 (DC)
>> 10. BATMAN #72 (DC)
Bnedis and king kills DC

>1. BLACK CAT #1
So this is the power of variants...

If you only order 1 copy, then a 100% overship just means one extra copy.

I liked the asian guy who did the mini story at the end where OPs picture is actually from.
but I fear they won´t change the art and it´s going to be cancelled as a result around issue 12

variants with tits are the only thing that still sales these days.
every now and then i noticed that spider-man got a 10k for one month to the next and it´s always because it had a black cat variant

> 3. SILVER SURFER: BLACK #1 (MAR)
why? I wonder how much it sold because it selling around 80k seems impossible for me

Its six variants, perhaps.

>Silver Surfer Black #1
>Silver Surfer Black #1 (Parel Variant)
>Silver Surfer Black #1 (Bradshaw Variant)
>Silver Surfer Black #1 (Bradshaw Virgin Variant)
>Silver Surfer Black #1 (Zeck Hidden Gem Variant)
>Silver Surfer Black #1 (Blank Variant)

Plus first issue, Silver Surfer, Donny Cates etc, that carries weight still, unfortunately. Though again, I doubt it will stay near the top after that conclusion.

>1. BLACKEST NIGHT OMNIBUS: 10TH-ANNIVERSARY EDITION HC

I can't believe it's been fucking 10 years since that event. I still remember the list of comics it would include, and some of them were fake titles just to make people have a wrong guess about how it was going to end.

POOSES!!!

Attached: 1489528465038.jpg (500x560, 44K)

TETAS

Hahaha fuck DC

While it was a nice read, you know it’s only up there because of the variant covers right?

Sadly they only harness the power of tits for covers, never for content these days

yeah
the current comic industry sucks donkey dick

I hope that next time he writes a team book with C-listers, it will last longer.

>People actually reading MHA
Why

They're not autistic as you

You clearly didn't read Weapon Hex Annual this week. Not like it matters, this is the same complaint from people who don't read comics on the regular, but at least this time I can give a concrete example.

KING BTFO

BENDIS IN SHAMBLES

DIDIO ON SUICIDE WATCH

Based Hulk wins again

These are preorders, no retailer would've known Walking Dead was ending when they were doing final orders for #192. But didn't they hint that something was going to happen in it, which turned out to be confirming Rick's death?

What that tells me is that there may have been hype over Walking Dead, but interest in Batman dropped.

>IH oversells Batman
Well, duh. How not to like this?

Attached: Why -co- loves Immortal Hulk so much.jpg (1987x3056, 1.98M)

Now post the next page.

It's not as good.

>and some of them were fake titles just to make people have a wrong guess about how it was going to end.

IIRC, those were fake titles generated by a GL forum board that was active back then.

Oh but I insist, please do it.

Practically a breathe of fresh air compared to watching Batman grovel at Catwoman's feet for 50 issues. At least Hulk ain't takin her shit.

What for??? After such a great page, who needs to keep reading? I already take for granted that IH is the greatest comic ever made.

In fact, it's so good that I don't even need to read it to know it's good.

I'll never forget all these threads where you tried to convince people this was going to bleed sales after that page, along with all the YouTube videos and anti-SJWs rants on Twitter. Flashforward to July 2019 and it's beating Batman for the third time in a row, top 10 seller.
Keep seething, bitch.

Attached: 1450235740719.png (334x299, 141K)

>accusing me of being a filthy DCasual
You don't know who your friends are, user.

I never mentioned DC, friendo.
Your conscience betrayed you.

Meant for

But you did. You mentioned IH oversold Batman.
>conscience
Ha! We don't need one to enjoy this book, user.

>this counts as sexy cheesecake these days
I wonder how low your testosterone level must be to think this

Attached: soy argument.jpg (1988x3056, 1.66M)

I'm sorry she isn't exposing her cameltoe in that biker chick bikini, user.

Exactly. I'm not buying Marvel books for the plot, after all.

I am sorry that you think that this man body is attractive

>Man body
That's Tigra fused with Wendigo.
>Oink oink

I'm sorry that you marvelfags think trannies are women.

No one obsesses more over trannies than mentally ill /pol/tards.

>insulting your CEO

Jesus why are her tits so big!?

It'll be the last time since after this issue it lost all the store exclusive variants that were inflating it's sales massively.

Oh for crying out loud. You guys still can't deal with it, huh?

Deal with what? It's an objective fact that Immortal Hulk has had a bunch of store exclusive variants, those always massively inflate numbers for any book with them. Books don't suddenly jump 50k between issues for no reason.

Not for 4 issues they don't.

They do if those 4 issues all had a bunch of store exclusive variants as well. How will you justify the massive drop it's going to get for next issue?

It won't, and then you're gonna have to eat the comic.

>How will you justify the massive drop it's going to get for next issue?
You said the exact same thing the last time, actually.

I bet you guys think Black Cat #1 was the top seller because so many people just couldn't wait to read it right?

... No, everyone knows #1 issues always have a shitton of variants. You're pretending this is all about variants and not because every issue has had at least two reprints, some of them three and even four.

yes

Even based Ryan disagrees with you.
twitter.com/RyanHigginsRyan/status/1149711473477767169

Attached: ryanhiggins-dabbing-on-dcfags.png (257x815, 76K)

Come again?
>Keep in mind, there's still multiple variants and store exclusive covers for every issue, so those numbers are being goosed a bit
I never denied that the book wouldn't be selling well even if it didn't have store exclusive variants. 50k for a Hulk book is fucking amazing, but without the exclusive variants it's nowhere near top 10.

Two things:
1) First some context, he said the previous month that Immortal Hulk would drop from the top 10 because of some alleged "speculation boost" and expected this issue to drop significantly twitter.com/RyanHigginsRyan/status/1137037647874969600?s=19. This, as we know now, didn't happen;
2) As to why it didn't happen is because despite the incentives, it IS selling well. The idea that a book this late in the game is sustainable with variants involved (which aren't that many by the way) is wild, but once you see the numbers you can tell the main issues are going to reprints because the stock is selling out, both in trades and floppies.

In short: a month with great sales can be attributed to a gimmick, the second month to a fluke, but a third? It's the new normal.

>Felicia stole the #1 spot this month
How will Selenafags recover!?

Attached: image.jpg (1242x997, 1015K)

>despite the incentives, it IS selling well.
Which as I stated, I agree with. However without the incentives it is not a top 10 book.

>The idea that a book this late in the game is sustainable with variants involved
Never claimed that, I in fact claimed the opposite (and it has at least 7-9 per issue which is a lot by the way)

>the second month to a fluke, but a third? It's the new normal.
So you're claiming that the store exclusive variants, which for Marvel is usually at lease 3k per cover, aren't adding anything to the sales? That even without the minimum 20k per issue they're adding it'd still somehow sell exactly the same amount?

Just to clearly reiterate what I'm saying because you seem pretty confused. I absolutely acknowledge that the Hulk book is selling incredibly well even without the variants. They are not propping the book up by any means. However it is an objective fact that the store exclusive covers are adding a significant amount to the numbers, without which it would not be a top 10 book at Batman level. To seriously think that ANY regular on-going book from either company would sell Batman and above numbers without any gimmicks involved is peak delusion.

>However without the incentives it is not a top 10 book.
How do you know?
>(and it has at least 7-9 per issue which is a lot by the way)
Very, VERY wrong.

>Immortal Hulk #19
>Immortal Hulk #19 (Smallwood Marvels 25th Tribute V)
>Immortal Hulk #19 (Lupacchino Spider-man Armor Suit)

That's it, for that issue. Issue #18 had:
>Immortal Hulk #18
>Immortal Hulk #18 (Jongju Kim Marvel Battle Lines V)

And issue #20 had:
>Immortal Hulk #20
>Immortal Hulk #20 (Bradshaw Carnage-ized Variant)

So if anything, #19 is an outlier.

>So you're claiming that the store exclusive variants, which for Marvel is usually at lease 3k per cover
Why are you talking out of your ass? It's really not that many variants, it's the reprints that are adding sales to the bulk here. It's not like Silver Surfer Black #1 which has seven (!) variants, where you can definitely see how they arrived to these numbers.

I didnt even realize batman damned 2 came out

No batdong.

BTW I just read that Absolute Garbage #1 has 21 variants and counting, it's gonna be REAL sad if it doesn't take the 1st spot when it comes out.

>However without the incentives it is not a top 10 book
Nice opinion there buddy.

>How do you know?
Because if you take minimum 20k away it won't be. It's the power of Math people.

>Very, VERY wrong.
From literally 30 seconds googling I found 7 first print covers for #19 listed on comicspriceguide and another store exclusive by Mike Deodato that they don't have listed. There are probably a couple more as well.

From my quick searching #18 also has several store exclusives and it looks like #20 will as well, so you'll get to keep your delusion that they're adding nothing to it's numbers going a bit longer yet.

>it's the reprints that are adding sales to the bulk here
>Why are you talking out of your ass?
Pot, meet Kettle.

With the Mike Deotatto store exclusive cover the store literally says
>Limited run of only 3000 Cover A
So for arguments sake let's say all the store exclusive covers have a minimum order number of 3000, that's at least 15k sales #19 got from store exclusive variants, and it could well be more.

And I haven't even talked about the speculation boost the series has been getting, again from the retailers website with the Mike Deotatto cover
>Rumored to be 1st full appearance of Immortal Abomination!!
Take away the store exclusive covers and the speculation boost (which is where most of the re-print numbers come) and it's not a top 10 book. Sorry if cold hard facts trigger you.

Oink oink, DCfag. Enjoy getting displaced out of the Top 10 come August.

It's really amazing, that is, the Delusion that DC fans now live under.
Whilst casting aspersions towards the 'competition', they have refused to look at the deficiencies which plague their own ranks.
This is why DC, sadly, will die:
It has Shit Fans.
They demand no accountability.
All that goes wrong must be the fault of the Competition and their fans.
Marvel did this, did that;
But no real demand for oversight on the product being put out by their familiars.
'Aquaman was pretty good. Wonder Woman was pretty good.'
No Critique whatsoever.
'Fuck Marvel'
You tired, old Batfags, and your handful of on-going Batfag titles need to die.
If not, it is best that DC circle that toilet, if only to redeem itself by giving up the ghost in a timely fashion.

Forgot to add:
Faggots.

Who the exact fuck is black cat anyway? She doesn't seem to play any major role in recent spiderman stories and is a minor third-wheel love interested behind MJ and Gwen.

Sorry, not a companyfag, I just enjoy the numbers aspect of the charts.

You want to know how we can tell you don't read comics?

Don't mind the other dude who's too rude to answer a simple question. Felicia (Black Cat) started off as a parody of DC's Catwoman for Marvel's titular hero back in the day. Her debut is actually an iconic cover that's a riff on a classic Batman cover, in Marvel Presents #18.
In time she became her own character but she was basically a ripoff for a long time, until they decided to make her a Spider-Man villain during Romita's run.

>DCeased is actually doing well

Were normies the real weirdos all along?

>giving copies for free is bad

Also to note,
It's like DC is actually predicting its own demise:
>DCEASED
>DAMNED
I know most of you are too retarded to read the tea leaves, but:
It's Over.
Over.

The worst part is that DC keeps soliciting books and then cancelling them. Almost every single favorite title of mine from them will never be collected.

I can't remember the last time an out of continuity mini sold this well

You can find King's Omega Men series, but you can't even buy the classic run, it's never been collected. Hell, it's not even digital.

Don't spoonfeed a faggot who only wants to make dumb statements. Christ he still thinks Gwen is still relevant

Yeah, well. Tom King is like, a genius, okay? He worked for the CIA so when he makes Kyle forget all about being a lantern for some terrorist pussy it's, like, a deconstruction and psychoanalysis of shit and stuff...

Catwoman sucks.
Felicia (Black Cat) is hot.

>2. DCEASED #2 (DC)
Damians books sells well :)

Absolute Carnage will probably sell well mostly because:
>Donny Cates (normies love him) and Ryan Stegman (good art)
>it's an event comic
>Carnage
Also the first issue is like 60 pages

Yeah that event is tailor-made for normie sales, it's vacuous but edgy like every other Venom event, so it's bound to be a blockbuster.
I keep waiting for the Venom bubble to burst, but alas...

>>Immortal Hulk STILL outselling Batman
Selina kyle kills Batman.

>> 2. DC POSTER PORTFOLIO: STANLEY "ARTGERM" LAU TP (DC)

no it wasn't, it was complete shit with even worse art.

Catwoman is still shit.

there is still plenty

both are

selina is just Felicia's cheap knockoff after all

Read some comics ffs

I dont care about King at all now and am just ready for him to move on now. I dont care enough to even hate it.
Event Leviathan should be called Talking Event or bendis sucks Tim Drakes cock.

>MEOW

What did he mean by this?

Calling it Now........ Tom Tayler for Batman.
