I thought Patchy's Gift would be a pineapple when he got to the island at the exact time Spongebob was walking to his front door, and that the pineapple would fall on top of everyone inside and somehow be decorated for the party, kind of like the episode where Spongebob grows a new house from a seed.
That said, while putting his own head in the box is kind of a non-sequitor, I like that they could finally meet face to face.
