Midnight Quittance was incredible. I gotta download the episodes in better quality.
That was really nice but I also liked Susie Appreciation Day.
At least these kids are still kids lol
YOU'RE AN
I want more Lucy, why doesnt she have any fanart?
GOOD MORNING, NINNIES.
Naw I was totally into it too, definitely the show's best episode to me
It's so fucking dumb and I still laughed.
I find this show much deeper than most cartoons, but because of the artstyle or uniqueness of it and the lack of action, it gets written off as a 'baby show' by people like Trollhunterfag. Midnight Quittance had interesting insight in to the meaning of rituals, religions and holidays, and also had a poetic meditation and reflection on the significance of time. It seems with this second batch of episodes the show is growing into it's own skin and getting better at displaying it's strengths. It's very cute, which as the art show episode showed, doesn't make it less valuable than darker material. But there is unsettling and dark material under the surface, like the egg cracking. That's just the show taking you on a little roller coaster ride, but you also get the comfy feeling that everything will right itself in the end.
I wonder if they put this scene in just to prevent guys from getting triggered at Hedgehog crushing on Max instead of Oscar? It is nice that the show is about a boy and girl who are best friends but with no romantic element. Not sure how common or realistic that is.
we're all special. :)

The theme song makes me so happy
Realistic enough for kids, but after a certain age the dynamic changes unless they're family members.
when time started breaking up it kinda creeped me out
Midnight Quittance is the closest it's gotten to Adventure Time's later season mindfucky nature. It was pretty cool.
And they did it without it being obnoxious and cringy.
>An episode where Alice makes literal "cutie pies" for everyone at camp.
Susie is best counselor. Discuss.
Whats a good episode for someone who wants to die today?
Last season or new season?
Cosmic bupkiss
Can't wait for the episode where one of the campers develops a crush on Susie and constantly asks her to call them a baby
Did Oscar swallow one of Susie's foot spiders?
I hope oscar doesn't chicken out from his kiss with lucy
>watching Summer Cuck Island
definitely low iq
Why post in the thread?
Because he wants to bump for us! How nice!
He will. He's not allowed to win.
>A key plot point in the show will be subtly revealing that Oscar and Max are the big gay
Susie calls everyone babies. Because technically everyone IS a baby compared to her.
user ur mom gay
we're playing the long game
SLOW AND STEADY
>Oh i'm gay now too. Can't wait to tell mom.
I mean, if a camper really liked it when Susie called them a baby, and got a crush on her because of that.
Which camper is the best and why is it Pepper?
Oscar.
I mean it was a pretty good one
but it also sounds a bit like you are low IQ if that solution wasn't totally mind blowing, I mean its a clever solution but its not like shocking
*ffrrt*
Susie is so disgusting and I love every bit of it.
i can't help but notice it.
Hedgehog is such a MARY SUE.
Oscar is such a WUSS.
Susie really is BEST CHARACTER.
That shows me what a mess this show is, sadly.
the only campers left. everyone else is dead.
haha
faggot
>Alice went right to Oscar
Coincidence?
of course she would
>Susie's eyebrows are a confirmed mood
Why is Lem so angry?
So if susie wasn't so geumpy from all the work she has to do she'd have no eyebrows?
...because she's a big doof like Oscar but also the cutest camper
Hedgehog talked to her and she doesn't like talking to race traitors
You'd develop a permanent scowl too if you had to take care of everything 24/7.
Alice x oliver
I still want to know what happened to Princess Marshmallow
Wtf do I watch now guys, already read camp comic
Moomin.
I like it
I wish there were more shows that had episodes like this
reminds me a lot of Egress from AT in just the idea that the character has to overcome some mystical odds that require thinking and dedication
What's kinda nice about this is that we know it happens within a few years because it's still at camp
I wonder how pajamas would feel about wearing someone else for a change
This. The 90’s version and the new one (Moominvalley)
>Choosing the CGI series over the stop motion one

Got anything in mind, user? Keep in mind I only do really lewd stuff, and I can't post it here without triggering the virtue signalers.
I like season 2, but I hate how they turned Oscar into a huge baby with dependency issues. He was still childish in season 1, but he was competent. He could get shit done in Chocolate Money Badgers and Mr Softball.
On the contrary, Season 2 is shaping Oscar up to be independent. Midnight Quittance and Susie's Fantastical Scavenger Hunt are prime examples of him working solo. Chocolate Money Badges and Mr. Softball still had Hedgehog helping him.
Hedgehog didn't really do anything in Chocolate Money Badgers. Oscar came up with all the plans and earned a bunch of badges for bravery by himself.
What does the cloud mean? There is meant to be a connection with the necklaces.

her dreams are clouding her vision, IE theres a lot more to being a witch
I hate weed culture, every fictional aspect of a show gets reduced to, lol they were high
And I'm not a fan of straight edgers. So fuck off.
That's not actually weed culture. That's straight edge bullshitting because weed doesn't make you trip and imagine things. Only people who have an outside perspective of weed make those kinds of theories.
Actual weed culture is a bit like edgy culture, but instead of trench coats and guns, everyone is high and likes smoking
Just as cringy, but not actually about tripping and imagining that a tree was talking
Susie is lawful evil, Betsy is Neutral Good, and Alice is Chaotic neutral?
speak for yourself I've had open eyes visual waves and patterns from smoking and vivid closed eyed hallucinations. that was from facing a waterfall bong though.
Alright guys you can fuck off, I dont give a shit about weed even though I haven't tried.
It should be legal and all that, maybe I was baited into believing this was real culture when that was actually fake weed culture but there is definitely people who think everything that's creative comes from drugs or all fictional shows can be explained away as the characters being high and I dont like that
Sure, user. One time I injected four marijuanas, thought my roommate was a glass of orange juice, and drank him. When I woke up the next morning he was dead and I was covered with blood, and when I told his mom she cried for 40 days and died from grief. Bless Jesus.
It's gonna be a sad day when this show runs out of ideas.
It'll probably get cancelled before that.
>Susie is lawful evil
I don't think she's evil but the others are spot on.
>there is definitely people who think everything that's creative comes from drugs or all fictional shows can be explained away as the characters being high and I dont like that
I explained that but I guess you hate explanations and understanding why things are the way they are
she does go out of her way to make people feel bad
within the context of that show, that's about as evil as it gets
>thought liking Susie was only a meme by emasculated babies
>after finding out how much she's hurting I just want to hold her and pat her affectionately
I am just talking out of personal experiences at this point, my brother and some of my friends have said that "x is so crazy the creator must have been high when they made it" or " y was about this character having a trip or being high"
I have also seen this on the internet so I am fairly confident that something people say and think.
I already said that maybe it isn't fake weed culture, better term would be some people who often get high on multiple drugs have said this.
I am not being unreasonable, if anyone's being unreasonable is you
>show is about a boy and girl who are best friends but with no romantic element. Not sure how common or realistic that is.
It's very, very uncommon. As much as guys/girls may try to convince you they "just have a lot of friends" of the opposite sex, it's either because they're desperate for the attention or desperate for the fuck. Sometimes both. But unless they truly are childhood friends (or gay/lesbian), the likelihood of having opposite sex friends en-masse is extraordinarily low. Girls want to get the good dick. Guys want to smash the pussy. That's a constant pretty much everywhere, and probably always will be.
>weed culture
that's not weed culture, if anything it's acid or mushroom culture, but weed doesn't make you trip balls
I feel like E;R should be having a field day with this show.
Susie is my favorite Susie.
>after finding out how much she's hurting I just want to hold her and pat her affectionately
I wonder why she's shutting out Ramona out of her life.
>my brother and some of my friends have said
>I have also seen this on the internet so
>I am not being unreasonable
Found the 10-12 year old child.
What is there even to talk about?
I hope for your sake you're just a 15-year-old who thinks the entire world shares his pubescent mindset. Otherwise you're imposing some tragically shallow limitations on your own relationships.
I mean sure, most people are shallow, but anyone who's capable of an actual friendship (as opposed to just using people) can't be that shallow in the first place.
Maybe she’s torn inside of the fact that Ramona’s aging before her eyes but Susie decided not to.
Shit, I mean who wouldn’t be sad about seeing your only best friend age while you’re not.
>virtue signalling this hard
woah now, looks like we have a genuine human relationship expert here on Yea Forums! what a rare sight!
Alright whatever, I got out of this what weed culture is
Is every adult who is friends with a lesbian and a straight male secretly a pervert that wants to fuck a lesbian?
The world may never, according to you
>this little adorable noodle is getting poon sometime this show
>Lucy is laying the first kiss
Aight niggas how does she come on to him?
What's this fatboy looking at
Good on ya mate, remember to eat all your veggies and get to bed before 9:00!
Shit like this makes me mad, is funny for 3 seconds, and then I am mad at him.
The same way all prepubescent relationships happen while you're at summer camp.
>"hi, so uh... wanna... uh... go to the camp... dance... with me...?"
>"oh, uh, sure. sounds fun!"
>"okay"
I feel like there's a big life lesson lurking around the corner for Susie. She just doesn't want to confront it.
so hot
I think it's a little stronger than that
>him and Lucy are alone in his room
>she's going down on him
Lucy confirmed dirty thirst beast for that elephant trunk
Is there even a SINGLE Summer Camp Island character who could DEFEAT Smoke Alert?
>Susie, the tough-as-nails head counselor is afraid of him
>Even when face-to-face with her, he's still got the nerve to be snarky
>Susie only barely won against him, not by defeat but he showed mercy in their battle and let her win
Magic doesn't effect him at all! He's the most overpowered being in the cartoon. When are we getting an episode on him?
... Where do I start?
>The pilot
>Oscar
>The show's very liberal use of child actors
>The fact that Susie is voiced by the show's creator
>Any joke we may have already made about the show having fetish pandering
>The elves in the show talking in an accent associated with American Jews and being the in-universe inventors of everyday acts of problem solving
Who is E;R why should I care about his opinions?
>him and Lucy are alone in his room
>she's going down on him
Write the full story.
None of these are problems unless you make them using a very narrow and restricted lens preaching to a choir. Cause that's all he does.
Edgefag YT reviewer. Covered new Star Wars movies, Steven Universe and Korra, and why they are bad.
I hope for your sake that you are female
So he's dead too?
To be fair, his Korra vids were pretty accurate. It's EZ PZ who is the real retard.
sci is far too small a fish to attract the video essay crowd
>his Korra vids were very accurate
That isn't an achievement considering it's Korra.
Imagine a dollar store Mister Metokur mixed with Mr. Enter.
Thats E;R.
He basically is the grandfather of those 30-50 minute long "Heres why this thing you may like sucks" videos.
Who's the one between Max and Alexa? I've never noticed him before.
He's that evil, evil kid that almost gets one of the monsters killed in Monster Babies.
I just realized hedgehogs hat is in that tree in the left. Why though.

Try saving it as a max-quality JPEG
Not worth reducing the quality. I could upload it to Discord and directly link it in a post.
That’s okay I totally appreciate your help, thank you so much!!
Lucy's room is full of books and posters about elephants. This was foreshadowed.
Imagine not using based mpv
so, hedgehog is a genius, an athlete, a wearewolf, and a witch now. isn't she just Pott's Deviant Art OC?
Korra is easy to make fun of and even the most normie can see the flaws in the show. It didn't need like several 20 min videos to tell us that.
Nah, Hedgehog is more of the stereotypical perfect girl character whose an overachiever because she has parents with high expectations.
Susie is lewd and wants to /ss/ mommy dom the Oscar.
No? She has flaws. She is way more childish than Oscar (only she doesn't display it as often) and obsessive. The whole point of the last 10 episodes is to show she's way too irresponsible and petty.
Susie is obviously the actual self insert because Julia voices her herself.
gimme that poompkin pie
I'll be very happy when someone finally gives Susie a big hug
As everyone else has already pointed out, Hedgehog is "perfect", quotation marks needed. Yes, she's extremely intelligent, but even in the very first episode we see she's creatively repressed because while she's cloud-watching from the car, she doesn't imagine them as anything but squares. Yes, she's extremely athletic, but she's so heavily competitive that anyone who does slightly better than her enrages her, like convincing her best friend to give up a lucrative athletic future in baseball or being furious that he got lucky with the discovery of (technically imperfect) cloning. Yes, she's part-werewolf and also a future-witch, but her viewing herself as independent because of her parents' emotional abandonment is incorrect because she has no real concept of responsibility because these same emotionally distant parents carefully paved the way to her successes, instead of them being her own pursued achievements. She's a success by being reactive, not proactive. She does what she's told instead of doing what she wants.
Hedgehog is the perfect example of what happens when there isn't a healthy balance in one's everyday life. She's the extreme in all categories, and the only people who view her as a Mary Sue / DAOC are people who fortunately never had to go through the same "childhood", quotation marks included.
She's not perfect, it's just she rarely gets called out for her flaws while Oscar does constantly.
Susie needs a big fug.
One thing I thought didn't work was how, I believe it was in the first werewolf episode, they throw in out of nowhere that she's obsessed with and great at math. This had never come up before then and wasn't really relevant. It just seemed so obvious that they threw that in suddenly to combat stereotypes about girls being bad at math or convince little girls to pursue STEM fields or something. I wouldn't mind if it had been part of the character from the beginning.
It was, you just missed it. Take something like The Basketball Liaries - she mentions she's so good at basketball because it's just angles and physics and, while I can't find the scene, I'm pretty sure there's an episode where she literally sees a problem as angles and equations.
Remember the very first episode? Her dad putting notes all over the pamphlet telling her to study?
>never had to go through the same
and thank god for that. my dad was chill as fuck despite me being an absolute turbosperg
Is there any fanart of Susie wearing the cat sweater from Monster Babies?
Pepper is best camper
That is all
>ywn cuddle him while he's asleep and defenseless
a summer camp island movie would be one of those shitty 90s softcore skin movies
What would a SCI movie even be about?
Maybe the end of Summer. Everyone has to go home, Oscar learns to not be a baby, Susie gives up being a teenager forever, Hedgehog becomes a fully-fledged witch and magic returns to the rest of the world.
Ramona passing away and Oscar and Hedgehog integrating Susie to the modern world.
Summer Camp Island: Susie does Jersey
A porn parody, that's the only movie this show could ever get
>being friends with a sapphic tart
good one.
Act One: Introduction of the characters and the island's activities. We see Betsy teaching HH more advanced magic while Oscar watches nearby. Oscar asks if he, too, can learn magic, but Betsy refuses, since he doesn't have the "aptitude" for it. Susie interrupts the lesson, violently. The cliffhanger from Season X, Susie finally gets the courage to visit Ramona, and demands Oscar, HH, and Betsy come along so she can "show" why she doesn't visit her and they can stop nagging her about it. After briefly talking and refusing to meet Ramona "halfway", she acts like she's fed up with the visit, and demands to go back to real-time. Everyone reluctantly agrees, since it's best to not fight with Susie when she's angry. After Susie, Oscar, and HH leave, Ramona notices something personal is missing from her house's decorations.
Act Two: Oscar and Hedgehog get permission from Betsy to visit Heartforde, since it's in everyone's best interest to be as far away from Susie as possible since she's "in a mood". The two are unable to have a good time, but for separate reasons; HH is worried that Susie is going to "get them back" for trying to help, but Oscar is afraid that what happened with their friendship if HH continues to pursue magic while he gets "left behind". Before a real discussion can begin, HH notices that there's something magical in Heartforde. Soon, more and more magical items appear. Concerned, the two hurry back to Betsy to tell them what they've found.
Act Three: Realizing there's magic in Heartforde, Betsy (with Oscar and HH tagging along) confronts Susie, demanding to know if she took anything from frozen time. Susie immediately says no, becoming even more angry that Betsy would presume such a thing. The trio points out there's magic in Heartforde, but Susie continues to refuse. Oscar then gets a phone call from his mom, who is frantic because "the toilet has started talking to her when she enters the bathroom".
Con't.
Act Three, Part Two: Realizing there's magic off the island, Betsy presses Susie even harder, and by happenstance Oscar ends up finding a very old friendship bracelet that's been hidden. Susie dives for it, but HH is able to keep it out of her reach, wanting to know what it is. Susie breaks down and admits that it's her old friendship bracelet that she left in the frozen time when she and Ramona "split", since in her eyes the two were no longer friends. Betsy scolds her, angrily explaining that now everything is screwed up because she brought "frozen time" to "real time". Oscar, however, stands up for Susie, saying there's nothing wrong with caring for a friend, but HH takes Betsy's side. Outside, campers scream. The Jabberwock has appeared.
Act Four: The trio of witches, with Oscar and HH running behind, try to confront the Jabberwock, who resists their magic quite handily. Betsy shouts that Susie has to return the friendship bracelet, but Susie refuses repeatedly, saying there must be another way. Oscar, maturing in the situation, has a rather heartfelt talk with Susie, telling her he understands how she feels, and how he's afraid of losing HH himself. However, he trusts in their friendship to believe that, no matter what, nor how old they get, they'll still be best friends. Susie relents, and together with Oscar (while Alice, Betsy, and HH hold off the Jabberwock) they go into the frozen time.
Act Five: In Ramona's cabin, Susie finally admits how she feels, and Ramona, comfortingly, reassures her that she's always believed Susie to be her best friend. After hugging it out, Susie and Oscar leave, both of them promising to visit in the future. With the bracelet returned, the Jabberwock disappears, and things return to normal. The closing is Susie demanding Oscar and HH clean up the mess left behind, but when the other witches and campers start helping to rebuild, Susie begrudgingly joins. The last line is HH thanking Oscar for being her best friend.
I would watch it in theaters.
Jesus, it's like it's 2011 all over again
That's some solid work.
>Implying it'll get a movie
Please no. Unless it's been worked on secretly right now, it would be too late for a movie. The show is gonna experience seasonal rot eventually (at the very latest, after the next batch of 40 episodes). I highly doubt Cartoon Network has any faith in the show right now, so that would be very unlikely.
HAFNIM
*huff* *huff* *huff*
Am I late?
Is Howard meant to be gay or something?
no. just a feminized man child.
>Oscar has been Italian this entire time
>MACARONI RAVIOLI AMORÉ PATCHOULI PATCHOULI MARINARA STROMBOLI!
What is this in reference to?
>he doesn't know

Next we need a Getter Robo Armageddon reference
>being this much of a fag
When does alice die
If you get the rest of them, please upload them.
cool!
hes just a good dad
he's meant to be your typical Howard
I will be getting the next four tomorrow, I'm using the iTunes releases and they're so fucking slow. In a week and one day, I'll have all 20.
How can I meet Julia IRL?
That's not Pott.

Why did we forget him? His disappearance from the show entirely semi-confirms he accidentally drowned himself.
Her actual voice doesn't really sound that much like Susie. Wonder if she needs to get into some kind of zone.
probably some retarded japanimation bullshit.
>>being this much of a fag
Meanwhile
>gets offended no one knows your stupid flavor of the month animu
The hat is so cute.....
She probably remembers all the dumb shit that probably happens around the studio and then vents it with Susie.
She did mention voicing Susie is basically like therapy for her.
>so, what you do you like to do for fun?
>well, I just caught up on watching a show called summer camp island. It's a super comfy show, you should check it out.
>wanna check out my Superman Funko collection?
>Degrading Summer Camp Island fans to Pop Vinylfags

Why does everyone hate Hedgehog now? She doesn't deserve it.
Is it me, or does Hedgehog sound like Jeff from Clarence? They even have the same accent.
It's weird, she's like directly into the Susie voice when she's being interviewed like this but not in that other video.
Yes she does, the stupid bitch has some nerve to even dare to exist
When's the next batch of episodes? I keep seeing autumn but I can't find a source.
they're mad that she wants max and not them
When will Alexa get her own episode?
I remember last year everyone was constantly making cuckolding jokes about Oscar and Hedgehog, but seems now everyone's fine with Hedgehog x Max?
Have people actually come to understand the importance of platonic friendship?
It’s not cucking if Oscar has no romantic interest in his best friend. And hints that he’s got romance of his own in the future with Lucy also helps.
Well a best friend, it could be a little bit harder to find, but just regular friends, yeah sure its common enough.
It's easy to be friends with anyone if you have no real attraction to them, yknow unless your a horny degenerate who would fuck literally any girl that walks within 2 feet of you.
Well that's how it was last year too but there were still faggots going on about it as if Oscar did care if Hedgehog wanted to boink the bat.
Nope. Now the girl is getting friendzone'd so of course every incel in Yea Forums is sperging shit like
>the rightful order has been restored
or
>based Julia!
and of course
>Wow Oscar is such a chad, Suzie's pussy is practically his now.
Honest to god there is no better way to described this attitude than sad. Nobody here could deal with the boy getting friendzone'd but as soon the girl got everybody was praising this show. And dont get me wrong, it is a good show with so much potential in character development and plotwise, I really hope it gets more seasons.
I wanna Ms. Pinch those adorable cheeks of hers.
I'm glad she was friendzoned because I didn't want any relationship bullshit. Would've preferred her not having a crush at all.
>Honest to god there is no better way to described this attitude than sad.
You're preaching to the choir friend. I suffered through 4 fucking seasons with the absolute dumbest idiots and autists on this board in /sveg/.
He cared in the pilot
Imagine Susie planning a date for Oscar with another camper.
>it's with Hedgehog
I just came into this thread to say:
I've never watched a second of this show, but I want to eat-out Susie's hairy pussy.
How do you know it's hairy.
Two words:
Eyebrows.
I'll go to bat for them and say that Oscar not getting with Hedgehog wouldn't have been that bad in the show's current iteration
The pilot was just so fixated on it that everyone reacted much more negatively at the possibility of that level of emphasis carrying over to the series proper
>Some CN employee leaked a new episode to do with Hedgehog and Oscar making tortilla blankets that become a smash hit and aliens storm their house to get one

Why did Hedgehog turn into Helga from Hey Arnold?
What episode?
Oh shit, season 3 inbound?
The only way she can defeat Susie is to match her eye brows.
Twelve Angry Hedgehogs
You could write essays about how different the pilot is to the series proper.
how do you feel about Pepper bullying
Pepper is a frickin cutie and deserves only utmost respect at all times.
If he died, he'd be a ghost Pepper
The pilot presented Oscar getting cuckolded basically. He was jealous of Max and Hedgehog, Hedgehog was coming on to Max in front of Oscar, etc. What's happening to Hedgehog is not as bad as that, and Oscar is not shown to have romantic interest in Hedgehog so that jealousy element isn't there. Also I think it's natural for male viewers to identify more with the male protagonist and therefore be more sensitive to his suffering.
But she wants to split them up.
Taco?
Pepper is meant for emotional abuse ribcage kicking and stomach punching
Now that another batch of episodes is confirmed, what do you think will happen next in the series?
Nice, very cool of you to do so. :D
Looks like in the clip at (5:54 in), Susie gave Hedgehog's wand back to her at some point
anyoen got that pic of older hog sitting by a tree and oscar in a wheelchair by a pool?
I have this image of Oscar outliving Hedgehog.
Childhood trauma builds character.
That and potential sociopaths and social recluses but mostly character.
O dam lmao that’s brutal
>He doesn't know
The same episode also has Hedgehog briefly die right in front of Oscar.
We could make a meme out of this.
That's what the show is. Oscar's painting.
>When all the buildup towards something dark or unusual like someone casting an anti-aging spell on herself turns out to be a series of coincidences making it look supernatural
Update: re-watched Sneeze Guard, now I feel stupid.
I don't see what's wrong with it.
There's no connection or meaning to it.
I was joking.

Do they list the credits for the title art? I feel like this is Julian Glander but im not sure.

He's made two others so probably.
Not the guy you're responding to but when I saw the title card my first thought was "I like the Art Sqool aesthetic" but I didn't put together that it might actually be that guy. Neat.

It already has. A new CN video leaked an upcoming episode called Tortilla Towel.

Oh neat. Didn't even notice the other ones.
