Hey Yea Forums just came here to ask, what's the ceiling for my boy moon knight?
Hey Yea Forums just came here to ask, what's the ceiling for my boy moon knight?
>what's the ceiling
I’ve never heard this phrase. What does it mean?
his limits.
What is his limit on popularity
Do people actually use that saying in irl?
presumably its means, what are its upper limits.
But without context its a fairly broad question. Are we talking power level wanking? how strong can he be? Maybe as a character, can he get a movie, a show? Would they be good? can he become popular with the general public? or will he always be C-list?
Or maybe its just a question about what is the best literal ceiling type for Moon Knight? In which case, Italian art deco.
He's basically a crazier, more violent Batman. He could be pretty popular, though I don't think the MCU style would use him to his fullest
Not OP but is the Jeff Lemire run still worth picking up?
He gets stronger with the waxing of the moon but even at his peak he isn't as strong as someone like Spider-Man.
Very worth picking up.
If he ever got a movie (or a tv show), that run would be what I'd want to see adapted.
When he's about to hit big time he's gonna have an anxiety attack and run away to his mom's house to lay low for a while, then when he finally comes back people will dig up old bodybuilding forum racists posts of his, he's gonna get slapped with a huge fine for it and then destroy his knee and be put on the shelf, possibly never to be seen again.
probably like a tv show or something. he's on the same level of popularity as iron fist (maybe even lower), so he could maybe get a netflix series if they were still doing that. Also his getup is more or less a klan outfit, so that may cause some controversy if he ever actually gets popular.
Alright, wasn't sure. I had read the first few issues but wasn't sure if I should've waited for trades or not. I like Lemire's writing and wished his run kept going.
With all that against him do you think he could get a 5/5 star movie or show at some point?
I think Moon Knight has the potential to be the next big thing. Just don’t do a tv show
If Disney kept their relationship with Netflix they might have been able to make something cool with him, but aovie could work if they got someone to present schizophrenia in a visually interesting way
It's wrestling jargon. The perceived maximum level of popularity a performer, or a particular character, is able to obtain.
For some reason it's been showing up on Yea Forums lately.
>Exposing the business
>Netflix might have been able to make something cool with him
No, they'd just make him another DD, they proved to can't do shit other than corridor fights with all the other IPs they wasted.
depends if its a full moon and Mark believes or not
No the Netflix shit is trash
He already had a 5 star outing as part of an ensamble cast, but he mostly did nothing and quite frankly it was good but not 5 star worthy.
It's not very good, but most Moon Knight runs always have GOAT art with passable writing. Benson's run is the only time I enjoyed the writing on a Moon Knight book.
i thought the overall writing in the 2016 run was pretty good and much better than a lot of the shit marvel was puttting out at the time.
2014 run's writing was moresoe standalone stories but they were still well-done.
i thought the writing in the huston run was, weird at times and khonshu was out of nowhere and they made marc an unlikeable asshole for no reason.
aside from that most of it was ok
I thought both Lemire's and Ellis' runs were artist driven. Neither of them got to display their writing chops since they just wrote it around the art. It's just not my thing.
The Stephen Platt run is the height of Moon Knight never to be surpassed in relevance or commercially
I just want to know if he has any new comics coming out. I haven't read anything since last year when that blob monster absorbed all the liberals in New York into one uber WOKE monster.
Fuck yes. I loved both the writing and the art
Hate on the run all you like but this moment was kino
