Morlun's only decent appearance was at the beginning of JMS' run. After that, he's just been a petty brat.

Strangely enough, he's perfect for MCU since the MCU just kills off villains immediately. They only need to make one good Morlun story while with any other villain it's a complete waste since they try to badly cram 30+ years of character development into a single story arc rather than bring them back a second time.

Slott ruined him. Inheritors are shit, his story is shit, his backstory is shit. This is absolutely correct I liked him as a mysterious force of nature you can't reason with, I am a sucker for villains like that I also loved how Morlun was strong specifically against Spider-men exclusively due to both of their natures. Slott turned him it into a lame capeshit version of the Most Dangerous Game.
