Morbius was kind of a big deal in the '90s, just like Venom. A dark, edgy goth-style vampire movie of Morbius along the lines of Blade could work. Just don't give him a 'Damaged' tattoo.

A black woman, she will not have a suit, but a motocross armor painted black. She no longer is going to be ambiguosly evil, but fully evil towards white rich men. The public, however, will unironically say she's a full blown heroine.
Also she will be a sassy feminist who either can do no wrong or will suffer no agency for the wrong she does. And a lesbian.

I would welcome this. Morbius can survive without being attached to Spider-Man, but it feels more organic when he’s there. Possibly because he’s one of the few in Spidey’s rouge gallery who isn’t just a criminal or a maniac.
100/10 suggestion. Neogenetic Nightmare is possible one of the most underrated, but best Spider-Man stories outside of comics. That whole 90’s series is wonderful.
He also had a lot of comics when Marvel was getting back to horror in the 70’s. I’m not sure how popular these were, since I was not around. Never his own solo run though until the 90’s.
I like them. They’re weird and fun.
But yeah, something along the lines of The Crow would be pretty good: but I know we aren’t getting that. I’m just hoping this movie is bearable and once it’s all over we might be able to get a good movie.

All I ask for is for a simple, gory vampire film with a Venom cameo. No "this man, this monster", no "muh humanity", just a straight edgy vampire movie with a vampire biochemist and maybe an evil corp trying to something something corps are evil.
