Gar's voice sounded really annoying when he was trying to make a dramatic speech.
It's like the voice actor forgot it was supposed to sound genuine and heartfelt and not like a publicity stunt.

Despite establishing the outsiders it kind of felt like a filler ep.

Greg Cipes doesn't really fit this version of Beast Boy at all. I remember when he sorta begged Greg on Twitter to let him voice him again. He and Tara are super annoying about reprising their roles every time. Remember when they threw a fit over the DTVs years ago?

None of the Outsiders outside the comics are anywhere like the comics. Brave and the Bold and Beware did their own thing with them. But yeah, pic related with the beginning set-up would've been a solid adaptation of the Outsiders.

At this point is clear that the marketing strategy of DC is putting a famous or popular character (Beastboy/Cyborg) and putting them on some of the team names they own. (DoomPatrol/Outsiders). Is clear they don't care about the original comics, they only see intellectual properties and copyright names they own see how can they mix them together for maximum profit.
