Which Ed had the worst home life?
Which Ed had the worst home life?
Ed but, ignorance was a bliss in his case.
Ed
Edd's lifestyle might be the most stressful but he enjoys order so I think he prefers it
Eddy's life is actually kind considering the stuff he has in his room
Ed has parents that confiscated his stairs.
From what I remember I'd rate it Ed>Double D>Eddy.
Ed's parents literally tore the stairs out of his bedroom so he wouldn't be able to get out after he was grounded. Even Double D found it disturbing.
Double D's parents seem to never be around and leave him sticky notes telling him to do a ton of shit around the house.
Can't remember anything specific about Eddy, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some fucked up stuff that happened to him. His older brother probably kicked the shit out of him before he moved out.
Ed
Poor bastard had his stairs taken, his mum treats his sister better than him, and his dad just sits there and watch TV!
>Ed reads comics to escape from the neglect and abuse of his family
Eddy lived pretty lavishly compared to most children, as far as his home life was concerned. His only real source of conflict was his abusive older brother, otherwise the worst you could say about Eddy's family is that they're not really involved in his personal life, but that's not so terrible, all things considered.
Edd's parents seem quite distant both physically and emotionally, and constantly busy with (what they deem as) more pressing concerns, but Double D seemed to be fine with the constant chores via sticky notes as long as his life was in order.
Ed's parents would constantly punish Ed in a draconian fashion over the smallest of infractions while showering Sarah with affection. Ed actually develops a fear of Jonny when he imagines Jonny as Ed's mother in a dream, implying that Ed fears his mother more than anything, even the physical abuse of his herculean sister. Ed's father is also incredibly neglectful and lethargic.
Ed has the hardest life in the whole Cul-de-Sac, and it's not even close.
i think eds family is so hard on ed because they know if he goes unchecked he becomes a beast. like when ed had a rock in his shoe and sarah tried to step to him like she always does. one good yell and she backs off with the quickness like weve never seen before like she was legit afraid of what he was gonna do
>hardest life in the whole Cul-de-Sac
The Kanker sisters are absolutely fucked, their mother is basically a non-entity, live in garbage and due to their inappropriate sexual outbursts may have been diddled.
Aside from his older brother, Eddy's problem wasn't abuse so much as poor role-models.
It's implied his views and attitude come from his dad, who's a sleazy car salesman.
>but it wouldn't surprise me if there was some fucked up stuff that happened to him. His older brother probably kicked the shit out of him before he moved out.
The Movie basically confirmed this during the climax.
The Kankers also don't live on the Cul-de-sac
Rolf the absolute chad farmer
The Kankers live in the trailer park, not the Cul-de-Sac. Still technically correct. Though, yes, their lives are also shit.
This is true, and it's true even when Ed isn't upset, as he's destroyed houses, lawns, fences, the playground, even ripping manholes out of the sewers when he's completely normal and having fun.
Then why did Eddy venerate his old brother and say he's great?
>yfw seeing this for the first time
Probably the only one that would fare well as an adult in fact he works way harder than most 20,30 year olds these days.
A lot of kids who get beaten actually like and idolize their abusers.
They often consider themselves to blame for getting their clocks cleaned.
because he's his older bro
Being abused at an early age can lead to fucked up psychological results
Ed's is easily the worst. He not only has to deal with draconian punishment, he's also given clear signals that his sister is loved and cherished where he is not. Even the argument that Eddy and Edd have more outright neglect is likely wrong, because Ed's parents seem to push the responsibility of Ed on each other
>Don't tell Mom Sarah. If you tell Mom, then Mom will tell Dad, and he'll say "Not now I just got home from work"
>I made it all up, Double D. Everything about my brother was a lie. I made things up so people would like me. Think I was cool. But boy was I wrong. The scam, my brother...this...when am I gonna learn, Double D?
If i was eddy's bro i would hate him too fucking little cunt was probably the favorite and got away with shit where as big bro got kicked out and ended up a wagecuck.
Kids tend to praise older siblings even when they're abusive assholes and scumbags. On top of that, Eddy has been hyping up his brother since the start of the series, relying on his infamy to gain leverage and cool kid points as much as possible.
It's actually an incredibly real moment from the series when Eddy breaks down crying when the truth comes out in front of everyone. He's embarrassed, he's frustrated, and he's ashamed of the lies that he kept going.
If Rolf could stomach the hipsters he could make a lot of bank being a locally sourced farmer in a suburban area with fresh goat's milk available for sale.
Yeah and he could save up all that profit and move back to ye old country and live like a fucking king.
Rolf shows the hipsters tv from his homeland.
I always assumed he got it from his brother. To a kid growing up as a social outcast it would make sense to look up to his brother who didn't care what others thought of him and did what he wanted considering Eddy has a lot of issues with insecurity.
Also according the show's bible, apparently Eddy's dad feared that his son would become a figure skater because he was "girly". Having a father that thought that way about him probably didn't help with his insecurity.
Do you think pissed off Ed could take on the kankers
Sarah and Johnny are pretty high tier and they both fear a pissed off Ed
Pissed off Ed could fight Ultra Instinct Goku.
>Double D's parents seem to never be around and leave him sticky notes telling him to do a ton of shit around the house.
How bad do things have to be for your parents to sleep in separate beds?
Johnny only fears plank tho.
That's the point where they're both fucking other people.
The best part of the movie was Eddys brother couldn't handle any abuse (so much as a door flying into his face at 500 miles an hour) because he had never been on the receiving end. Eddy meanwhile has been on the receiving end of slapstick abuse the entire show, and could handle "Uncle"
Honestly I don't get sleeping in the same bed. I know it's intimate and all, but after enough time it just seems like an inconvenience. I probably mostly feel this way because I tend to toss and turn a lot so anyone who tries to sleep next to me is in for a bad time.
Do you think the Kankers ever raped the Eds
Yes. Multiple times in fact.
I'm pretty certain this and complaining about the heating being on/off is what most couples argue about the most.
They're planning on getting pregnant and forcing the Eds to pay child support
It's a psychological comfort, I used to have myriad sleeping issues before I moved in and started sleeping with someone every night.
the kankers are actually pretty easy to deal with.
the episode the Edd's actually whent after them with love. the kankers got afraid and kept running away.
I'd say Johnny is pretty high tier, he has autism watermelon powers
Nobody in the show is on par with pissed off Edd. I'd put the tier list as this.
Pissed/Monster Ed>Rolf>Kankers>Sarah>Johnny>Normal Ed Still strong as fuck but too nice to fight people.
>I think you just have, Eddy
He got kicked out because he touched Eddy. Then gave him magazines as payment.
wouldn't be surprised the way he asks "does mom and dad know your here?" followed by "Does ANYONE know you are here." was quite off
the kankers arent a big deal. pissed ed would just have them swarming on his nuts
>pissed off Edd
...
We see it happen on screen
I'm honestly not sure how Pissed Ed vs Pissed Kankers would end. The episode where Ed accidentally took their ship in a bottle showed they are an apocalyptic event waiting to happen.
He would make his great Nano proud
What reason do you think there was for Johnny and Plank replacing the Eds as the outcast?
Where are giant kankers on the scale?
The other kids barely tolerated Jonny throughout the actual show anyway, Kevin and Sarah beat the shit out of him almost as much as they beat up the Eds
None of them showed up to his Arbor Day party, either
Shit I made a typo.
How would Rolf react to LSD?
Eddy.
His brother beat the SHIT outta him then was sent by his parents to a fucking mobile carnival just to protect Eddy. The only reason his brother didn't take his car/stuff from his room when he left was because his parents shipped him off as a juvenile delinquent (strangely not into the military, though).
Double D's parents are probably divorced, but that's not too bad to deal with when you're as intelligent as him.
Ed's parents don't do much, his dad just sits there and watches TV. Sure they took out the stairs when he was grounded, but that kid literally had an entire furnished basement to himself, so it's not like he wasn't well-off.
Pissed off Ed could level the entire Cul-De-Sac. Actually its a good thing none of the Eds are intrinsically evil or else everyone would be fucked. Ed's Inhuman strength + DD's Inhuman intelligence + Eddy's Inhuman cunning would be terrifying.
