Mr. Burns

>Mr. Burns
>stated to be 81 in 1990
>would be 109 years old in 2019

What is his secret Yea Forums for his ever lasting life?

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 16K)

He was only 81 in Simpson and Delilah after that they decided he was 101 because I guess it sounded funnier.

Why are you not more interested in the fact maggie is still a baby at age 30

What will the writers do to Abraham Simpson when the last WW2 veterans die?

Slowly turn him into a cyborg each time an organ fails

Attached: lisosampson.png (402x286, 112K)

he was already bummed up to Vietnam

Didn't that X-Files episode explain it?

>he was already bummed up to Vietnam

You wot m8?! Source now

Skinner isn't a gulf war vet now is he

>What will the writers do to Abraham Simpson when the last WW2 veterans die?

Or burns for that matter. They were both part of the Flying Hellfish on the western front

>you will live long enough to see Mr. Burns and Abe simpson talk about their time in Afghanistan after 9/11 in some wacky adventure where they meet Osama Bin Laden and Mohammed Omar

Feels strange man

Grampa and Burns don't really have a set age, they can be as ancient as needed.

Lazy writing.
>well what would YOU want? For them to grow up?
It’s not like that. Zombie Simpsons (which is too nice of a name for it) is so fucking lazy and effortless in concept, that if everyone who ever worked on The Simpsons died, I’d be a happier man. There’s no point to keep it around, it’s white noise, literally the worst thing for American entertainment there is, and nobody should just let it further run lest they be charged with rightful death penalty.

The "Dick Cheney" effect, as I call it. The more evil a person harbors within their soul, the longer they'll live. Money helps, too.

Skinner did a peacekeeping tour in Bosnia

Just wait till they roll out the life extension technology and all your major organs are transferred into a cyborg.

There was one moment where Burns had his age as a key code and he pressed four numbers.

>Grampa and Burns don't really have a set age, they can be as ancient as needed.

They have a set age cause they fought in world war II, you can't recon world war II.

*retcon

>There was one moment where Burns had his age as a key code and he pressed four numbers.

Obviously those are all jokes about him being that old or being 104. I would say the writers were being very legitimate when they set his age originally at 81. No 100 plus year old man could operate and mange a nuclear power plant like that.

I don't think he was. There was definitely a recent episode where he was a young man in the 1950s and dating a singer or something like that.

Gummy Bears

>operate and mange a nuclear power plant like that.
wait, somebody actually works at the power plant?

Wasn't Burns' place of birth stated to be Pangea once?

In the first season they implied that the plant was just one of many things Burns owned and it was actually operated by a bunch of other managers.

>Wasn't Burns' place of birth stated to be Pangea once?
See

There are vets born in 1927 who are only 92. Keep in mind the population over 85 in 1945 was only like 2 million max, now it's something like 20 million- and that's not because the population overall is larger, it is entirely because people are living longer.

So hypothetically as time passes and a few thousand people born in 1927 hit 120 in 2047 the technology could advance so that some of them could live past 130

In any case if Simpsons is still going in 2040 there will be other concerns going on, such as "Why?"

>it is entirely because people are living longer.

Only for rich people. average American life expectancy if you don't factor in child morality have not gone up at all, in fact have gone down in the last couple of years.

It was never consistent. Jesus, Last Exit To Springfield clearly has him as a child with his biological father in an atom-smashing plant where 19th century dudes are breaking atoms with hammers. You know, jokes. For fun. Then the following season's Rosebud has him with his penniless biological parents and going off to live with an unrelated twisted, loveless billionaire, losing Bobo in the process. Given that a young George Burns is supposed to be his brother there, that places it sometime around 1900, but the first place the spring meltwaters take Bobo is New York in 1927 (which is on screen). Season 8's Burns, Baby Burns has Burn's 25th Yale reunion in 1939 (or 1941), placing his graduation in 1914 (or 1916).

Then again $pringfield (or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling) has him in clothes that indicate a period between 1846 and the 1870s at the earliest, but riding in a bumper car (which wasn't invented until 1920) by which time that style of dress was long out of fashion.

The Old Man and the Lisa has him invested in - without realizing it's worthless - "Confederated Slave Holdings", a whole load of 1920s/30s products, and "that up-and-coming Baltimore Opera hat company" which given the BOC wasn't formed until 1950 somewhat confuses the picture.

He's not "a specific age". He's just very old and it's played for laughs. Even early on you could argue he had to be 150 years old based on on-screen evidence. He's not. It's just funnier that way.

First Iraq War veteran now

Abe would have been based in Daharan where he played tetris on gameboy all day and missed out on Twin Peaks because the cable was out after the Iraqis bombed the base.

That's not counting still younger guys who were 16-17 and lied about their age to enlist.

>what is his secret to everlasting life
As anyone who has an ancient grandparent will tell you; the key is spite and hatred.

The kind and the good die in their 70's at the latest, the evil live forever

That radiation process seen in The Springfield Files.

Also, mandatory Sneed reference.

>Slowly turn him into a cyborg each time an organ fails
Do you want terminator Burns? Because that's how you get terminator Burns.

If you're young enough, you will live long enough to see Mr. Burns and Abe Simpson talk about their time in some war which won't even happen for another 20 years in a country which hasn't even come into existence yet.

They are called the 1% for a reason, 20 million is more than 1% friendo

Burns being old, Grandpa being a WW2 vet, and Skinner being in Nam will always remain, no matter how out of date or unrealistic it gets.

Thats Word of God.

Stan Lee and Ernest Borgnine were about the nicest guys you could find anywhere. Point refuted.

If the US cared about taking care of their veterans, maybe. Illegals get treated way better.

Your post is confusing and seems to have only the barest connection to mine

duh!

I thought he was 105

Test

>Last Exit To Springfield clearly has him as a child with his biological father in an atom-smashing plant where 19th century dudes are breaking atoms with hammers
That was his grandpa. Mr Burns refer to him as that

>No 100 plus year old man could operate and mange a nuclear power plant like that.

so like complete shit?

>Stan Lee
>nice guy
Do ho ho ho.

He has every disease known to man but they all cancel each other out.

That scene basically tells you. He's invincible.

Attached: 411-three-stooges-syndrome-1.jpg (497x354, 32K)

They'll be veterans of the most recent Iraq War, the upcoming Iran War, and eventually some war that won't happen for 70 years or some shit, repeat until Civilization collapses. Though this current iteration of the Simpsons will be canceled eventually, it will be rebooted a few decades after cancellation and be like Sherlock Homes, Alice in Wonderland, Shakespeare, Thor, Hercules, etc. with shitty reboots happening periodically until humanity bites the dust, which could to be fair be sooner rather than later.

Well for starters he isn't indian

Isn't that what Nurgle literally does to his followers?

Probably those supplements that Alex Jones sells.

I like him best ambiguously possibly vampirically immortal ala After Simpson and Delilah but before Bill and Josh made him 104.

Sneed

Originally he WAS a specific age, but yeah, in the latest eps they forgot that and made him and old powerless eldritchean being, starting with that ep where bart finds that $2000 bill.

>Burns ATM PIN is his age, none of the numbers he inputs is zero, while not shown the number, they clearly imply that he is thousands of years old now.

>When the bill flew, it knocked him, according to him, the bill could have killed him if his heart were still inside him.

maggie and lisa are legal and marge is a corpse
