Was anyone else glad that his Multiverse story was bullshit because now it means that Marvel ISN'T beating DC to the punch when it comes to the multiple universes? I can't help the DCfag in me, people.

First of all only retards bought this story in the trailers, and second, technically Marvel beat DC films to the Multiverse punch years ago with Doctor Strange

Didn't DC already reference the Multiverse with Shazam

They'll still get there before DC because:

a) DC has no idea where they're going
2) Multiverse shenanigans are the only place they can conceivably go that's bigger in scope than Thanos killing half the universe.

Unfortunately multiverse shit is now Spider-Man's thing. They did it in the disney tv series, the Sony movie, and toyed with it in this movie.

They already brought up the multiverse in Dr. Strange, and new branches of the timeline are created by the Avengers meddling in Endgame.
I'm just glad it was bullshit because whenever a universe that isn't 616 calls itself 616, like in Spider-Verse, I want to scream.

Marvel already beat DC there with Spiderverse user

Don't worry OP, DC will beat Marvel to the punch when it comes to declaring bankruptcy.

Seems like a perfect lead-in for Kang to be the next big bad. Also calling the multiverse separate timelines can work for him too.

This movie was basically making fun of the multiverse from the Flash show.
>No don't worry we have all these cool super villains and shit, but they're from Earth 2 because we're too embarrassed to have them in the main universe

Didn't these CW shows already do it?

>not realizing that says more about Marvel than DC because it proves they don't need the multiverse to bring in new characters because they have a literal entire galaxy at their disposal including obscure characters like the Eternals.

lol

They aòready did in both Doctor Strange and Spiderverse.

kys

I loved how they used the Beyonder in the 90's series to connect the multiverse.

Actually that's not really true. DC has a shit ton of shit to explore on their home Earth already. It's just that unfortunately we have a lot of loud retards demanding Multiverse shit, wanting to run before walking

Multiverses are pathetic and lead to lazy storytelling though.
>omg tony stark is dead!
>oh wait, never mind, here's a young alternate universe version of him played by a different actor who got stranded in our universe..

That's all on DC though, for fucusing mainly on the JL characters and their derivates.

Please help a jackass that isn't too keen on Marvel
What's the Flashpoint Paradox in Marvel?
Could it work as a movie? one where it all goes wrong?

comics did this in the 90s

>bad thing happened in da comix so dat mean it ackshually good

I unfortunately have to agree with this user, it's not a matter of when are they doing it, but in which movie are they starting with the multiverse shenanigans.
And also, when will DC will be sold to Disney, but that seems still a little bit far away.

Flashpoint was DC.

Dr.Strange was like ambien so it doesn't count.

i meant something Akin to flashpoint, somewhere where shit went wrong and most possibly all of them end up dead or worse

Oh yeah that happens once every 2 or 3 years.

Age of Apocalypse, Days of Future Past, Heroes Reborn, Age of Ultron, House of M kind of, Secret Wars. Marvel likes to milk.

LMAO

imagine being unironically a deeceekek

Marvel had yet released a flick, let alone a film as transcendent as Man of Steel.
First Avenger was close though.

Imagine unironically talking like this and thinking you're not a retard

Ultimatum

>blob eating wasp
no way jose

>Was anyone else glad that his Multiverse story was bullshit
Yes
>because now it means that Marvel ISN'T beating DC to the punch when it comes to the multiple universes?
What? How petty can you be?

No I'm happy it's bullshit because Spider-Man (especially not a Mysterio story) isn't a good choice to introduce the multiverse with. Spider-Verse is a bit different because Sony only has Spider-Man characters to work with, the MCU has far better properties to work with.

I'm pretty sure Squadron Supreme, Exiles, Secret Wars, Howard the Duck, New Universe, Man-Thing, Ultraverse or House of M are better bets to start this multiverse thing with.

I liked how when Peter started to nerd out about the multiverse theory infront of everyone you can tell “Fury” and Beck were both lost and a few of the Skrulls looked at Peter a little stunned. I’ll bet thy were surprised to find a human, a young human at that, who so easily grasps such a high concept.
Also, DC has had their live action multiverse for a long time, solidified in the episode of Flash where he runs through the speed force and sees various realities and timelines.
In short, fuck off with your Company Wars OP

I would be more annoyed if the MCU was 616

Im not, but okay retard.

It was lame then and it's lame now.

your an ok retard alright

>as transcendent as Man of Steel.

kek

>DC will be sold to Disney
Would that even be allowed? But then again the Feds probably wouldn't care about a giant comic book monopoly. What I'd really like is for somebody sapient to take over WB/DC.

Brainlet.

>has an amazing super villain costume
>fights the final battle in a stupid tacticool Netflix-tier mocap suit

God, what an utter waste.

That was the entire point user. Mysterio's not cool and his entire persona is made up purely for looks.
Underneath it all he has no substance and is completely pathetic.

TV shows, while entertaining, should never be merged with films.
