>Doesnt have retarded hair

Yeah, dropped

Thus concludes the Legion thread.

Hey is that the wife from Mr. Robot?

He did in last season's finale though.

Nooo! Charles, get out of my head!

Yes. I like her she's pretty.

Anyone streaming this?

Haven't watched this in a while, thanks for reminding me.

I feel like Farouk has them both in a mind prison

Th trick is telling where one mind prison ends and another begins.

>I feel like Farouk has them both in a mind prison
Nah, that's just wishful thinking. Everyone hates how Hawley went full Breaking Bad and made David the villain when really he's still the character you pull for while Syd's the hero when really everyone except Hawley hates her.
Evidence is clear to me though. Farouk went to the future, future Syd revealed David kills the world. Everyone teams up with Farouk not because they think he's a good guy now but because they're doing typical US style strategy where you ally with the terrorist faction that will end up an even worse threat for you a decade or two down the line.

Throwing time travel into an already non linear storyline is annoying as fuck

There's no such thing as a story that isn't improved with time travel.

So I guess this is completely divorced from movie continuity.

Thank god for that.

Farouk doesn't exist. It's just David.

Everything would be fixed if David could just go back and destroy that fucking doll.

You're just now realizing this?

Oh shit, nice Daniel Johnston soundtrack going on right now.

>literal faggot degenerate buttfucking med ads
And one day for no reason at all people elected Hitler to power

Easy there, closet case.

>So I guess this is completely divorced from movie continuity.
Even the movies don't follow movie continuity. Like why the fuck were Charles and Erik when Jean is a young child several decades older than they end up being when Jean is an adult?

>David killed and or made his mom go insane because of time travel

we a closed loop?

Catching up now. Got caught up watching anime and lost track of the time.

I am. Off my DVR to my PC via my cable company.

Thought about that. Bit too predictable. Seems like its unfolding the way we already knew. Farouk finds David. Expecting some kind of twist, though.

I don't give a fuck what people do in private just don't contribute to the downward spiral of decency. Let a train of meth smoking Village People cosplayers if you want just don't pretend that it's a topic of normal conversation among the vast majority of people. This is why we have doctors and professionals. Get your no HIV pills when he asks if you're sexually active. I also have problems with other drug ads if you want to get into it but that isn't the point here.

Well, the movie continuity is a steaming pile of shit anyway. So, good on them for avoiding it.

Every character on this show is actually David, especially Syd.

If they do it in private, then people get AIDS because Republicans can't not fuck men while having wives?

Don't have to be a dick about it. I'll watch it in a half hour when the links are up in the usual places, just wanted to see if someone was streaming beforehand.

Even the Negro? Would the best ending be the actual X-Men showing up to kill David?

Geez. Do you not like capitalism or something?

If it is Farouk then this is bullshit, he shouldn't be able to get into someone's head so far away without some kind of cerebro

He doesn't have a body at this point, remember?

Unless he's already dead and in the Astral plane.

Fuck, that baby scene.

In Legion's own continuity Farouk did battle with and was defeated by Charles, I don't think that happened yet.

No but we have standards for a reason. Did you know that cocaine is still a legal drug for medicinal purposes? You don't see ads for blow for people with oral pain. Also smoking is not a mental illness so every time I see an ad for Chantix I want to anally rape a drug rep.

Charles brought it with him.

You spoke too soon given the end of the episode.

>the actual X-Men
You mean the actors from the shitty movie that just bombed?
Or maybe just recast ones for the show just like they did for Chuck in this ep.

>Without some kind of cerebro
Did you not see the scene specifically show Charles making the first version of cerebro...

Yea. Seems like the defeat happened off scene. So still Farouk, but it was David who pushed her over the edge.

Holy shit that baby scene was terrifying. I always used to worry my niece would flip over and be unable to breath.

Of course now she’s talking and won’t stop, so I’m not entirely sure which is better.

yes, and it is Charles', not the Shadow King's

>Yea. Seems like the defeat happened off scene.

HAWLEYYYYYY

I would have liked James McAvoy playing the role desu even if it would have made continuity a mess.

>We could have had a cool episode about Chuck tracking down and have philosophical musings with the Shadow King leading up to a climactic psychic battle
>we get David literally drove is mum into catatonic insanity, and it was all blamed on the Shadow King

Link's up lads:
verystream.com/stream/FCLq788XDsq/legion.s03e03.webrip.x264-lucidtv.mp4

No, because the shadow was there before Charles returned. I'm pretty sure Farouk learned about David while fighting Charles. Lost and escaped into the Astral plain, and was trying to afflict David prior to Charles showing up. So David spooked his mom (or is she dead now), and Charles stopped David from helping.

I'm waiting for the torrent

Attached: aubrey plaza mad hatter.jpg (1915x1079, 248K)

It got a jump out of me when she flipped him over.

They really want David to be the bad guy, but everything they do just makes me like and sympathize with the poor bastard more and more. I wonder if he's related to Cyclops instead.

David def pushed her over, but the other stuff seemed like all Farouk.

Real villain is Charles. Da fuq you doing bouncing.

I think she's just insane, not dead.

Or was the double door a representation of the time door??

It's symbolic of how David's mom is into double penetration.

Fuck, I lol'ed.

I don't see it that way. I think they are trying to convey that while if people think they are doing the right thing they end up doing the wrong thing for what are good reasons.

He's psychic shit on Charles's shoe that ended up being tracked all the way from morroco.

>They really want David to be the bad guy, but everything they do just makes me like and sympathize with the poor bastard more and more.
I was like that up until this episode. He's gotten way too abusive towards cute time traveler girl and that's not OK. She saved his life multiple times, dealt with Lenny's retarded episode of cunting out over nothing, and was nothing but a solid asset for him. It's fucking bullshit what he's doing to her. At least heal her for fuck's sake. Fix her teeth and give her some psychic energy so she can recuperate.
Also kind of interesting how Farouk seemed nice to baby David at the end. It lends credence to what he told Syd at the end of Season 2, that David's madness was his curse and the monster (Farouk himself) was his gift. Farouk was obviously trying to fuck with Charles to get back at him while also keeping his astral body alive by feeding off another powerful mutant, but how easily David's adult astral form was taken the wrong way by a seasoned veteran of psychic power like Charles leads me to believe David might've easily been taking Farouk the wrong way and demonizing him when he was really more interested in getting David to work with him.

>If it is Farouk then this is bullshit, he shouldn't be able to get into someone's head so far away without some kind of cerebro
Are you fucking serious? Farouk is over 2,000 years old. He traveled to the future to meet and talk with Future Syd without the elaborate industrialized Division 3 technological support David required to pull off the same trick, using nothing but astral magic and a metaphorical astral car Back to the Future style. His body can't be burnt, drown, or conventionally damaged even when it's left behind as an empty shell for thirty years. He suspended the flow of time and created an alternate reality for ten other people that lasted for days while a bullet was in midair heading directly towards his current host. He can turn people into pigs and fish *without* the benefit of his own body. I wouldn't put any psychic accomplishments past him.

I don't know why you guys keep spouting this shit. The show is about mental illness and so the story isn't about them being heroes or villains, the only true villain is Farouk cause he DOESN'T have a mental illness.

>Cerebro
cool

>I don't know why you guys keep spouting this shit.
Maybe because that's exactly what the guy who created and is still running the show has explicitly said?
>For me, I always had this question in my mind, what would happen if Walter White was a supervillain? That Breaking Bad superhero show.

the moral of the show is to never put your dick in crazy

>The show is about mental illness
It involves mental illness but that's not its only focus. Even from the first couple of episodes they made a point of pulling away from mental illness and revealing an elaborate political intrigue of paramilitary humans warring with the mutant resistance.
Also this:
Hawley said Syd's the good guy and David's ultimately the villain. Syd herself tells David he's not the good guy, she is. And as much as we all hate Syd the show itself definitely isn't being written to make her look bad. It's similar to Skyler in Breaking Bad. Everyone hated her too but that wasn't intentional. Vince Gilligan intended for her to be a sympathetic character and was surprised by all the Skyler hate:
>"It was tough on her, and undeservedly, because she couldn't be a sweeter person. And also, I never understood it, because Skyler's character, compared to Walt, she's the good guy.
>"She's trying to do the right thing. He gives all this lip service: 'I'm trying to protect the family. My family's all that matters.' She says, at one point, 'Someone has to protect this family from the man who protects this family.' And she's right.

If the entirety of season 1 wasn't uncovering how elaborately Farouk screwed with David's head, I'd have an easier time believing you. Ultimately I think its a bit of both as the showrunner intends but the fucking Shadow King definitely isn't innocent.

I fucking love this show. It's obvious that trying to hold onto the 'David did nothing wrong' ship is foolish but they're doing a good job making him a well intentioned villain. A VERY good job. And you know how people complain when heroes and villains in superhero movies have the same powers? Maybe the problem was that they didn't have powers that could do shit this interesting because David and Farouk having a psychic battle that ends up inadvertently scarring himself and his mom was riveting to watch. And yeah, the Shadow King isn't as bad as he first seemed. Congrats Noah, you made it slightly more believable that the heroes could work with someone who trapped them in a mental hospital illusion and popped someone like a balloon.

It's a good thing this show doesn't have to tie in with any canon. Can you imagine sniktbub trying to be relevant here?

Attached: 1561885384841.jpg (1911x1210, 1.41M)

You clearly didn't watch it did you
He literally dons the hair and sleeveless vest in one of the scenes

Farouk isn't innocent, but I think he actually likes David a lot more than either David or the rest of the characters realize. He's still an evil psychopath, so much like a cat's gesture of good will towards you in the form of some dead bird it leaves by your bed, he does stuff like murder David's sister because he knows deep down David really hates her and can tell she thought of him as an unwanted burden.
Something more recent that I don't know registered much on anyone's radar is how in the first episode of S3 he tried to talk Syd out of going along with them in their attack on David's compound. He's over two thousand years old and probably perceptive enough to realize Syd was going to murder David if she went along with them. So what this really means is he probably wanted to talk her out of going so David *wouldn't* be killed. I think if it's just Farouk and David at this point Farouk will prefer something other than murdering him, like maybe teaming up with him or manipulating him into doing something else for him.
Interesting dynamic the have whatever the case. Reminds me of Hannibal and Will in that Mads Mikkelsen TV show. Similar situation where Hannibal at multiple different times was fully OK with severely harming or even murdering Will while simultaneously valuing him greatly as his friend. Hannibal and Farouk both have that seemingly contradictory character trait where they can greatly appreciate and value someone or something while also being fine with fucking it up or outright destroying it. But in either case their preference is clearly not destroying their best bud if they don't have to, unlike with Syd who despite having the romantic relationship with David seems to be the character most comfortable with walking up to him and shooting him with zero attempt at negotiating beforehand.

Attached: Swamp_Thing_Vol_2_75.jpg (400x603, 91K)

>david is a full-blown capable reality warper
>Farouk is a super-powered psychic who desires power
This still hasn't changed, Farouk still just wants davids body, only his approach has changed.
>Can't kowtow david with The Yellow Demon anymore
>turn his friends against him so you can capture and force you're way in without his backup.
the only issue is david being a retard who's messed up due to Farouks meddling so he keeps making things difficult.

I think

Attached: 6779_HYPERTHINK.png (374x374, 182K)

>Farouk still just wants davids body
He has his original body, why would he want to squat again?

Attached: rise.jpg (630x630, 31K)

>Legion
>is not legion

He's called Legion specifically because of his multiple personality disorder.

This is like is Spiderman had the pwoers of a mantis, or batman was themed after a ferret

because his original body is strong but david gives him access to full reality-warping

He could do some of that in Oliver's body, and it might be weird to say but I don't think he's that power hungry.

I don't think Oliver had that much reality warping power though, did he?

Turned a few Divison agents into animals and babies when he wasn't poofing them

I still don't know what was with the cow

shit yeah, you're right I guess he did. Fuck knows. Maybe davids just a lot more poweful that its worth going for? who knows. Maybe farouks just playing games since hes bored as fuck after 2000 years? maybe its just personal since he dislikes Xavier?

I think he's won and if all goes according to plan he's going to do exactly what he was doing before but with the Division watching his back.

that sounds about right. looking forward to next episode with the time demon things, interesting to see where that goes. Was fun seeing the Xavier actor again, he was in GoT before aswell as doctor who so that was fun.

I think the cow was Syd, wasn't it? she was fucking about being a cat too.

Who was he in GoT? I'm happy they didn't bring in McAvoy, personally I don't like the guy in anything.

I have no clue but I feel it wasn't her.

he played Viserys in season one and maybe the cow wasn't her - its possible its a future-thing, since the orb also seems related to time travel.

That's some messed up episode yo

>Worlds angriest boy doll
what the fuck does it mean, why does she have a special shoebox to hold it in.

I think the concentration camp pjs the thing wears is a clue.

What if Syd... is David?

I am hoping the big reveal is that many of the other characters are just him.

A couple of times they do show him talking to copies of himself.

Also in the sadly canceled Counterpart with JK Simmons.

oh shit. I didn't even recognize him

I'm guessing the reason Farrouk can actually pull off reality warping to a degree is just because the entire show is him in David's head.

I wonder if its another Farouk plant, since if we accept at face value Farouk CAN travel in time at some point in the future to head backwards and warn Syd about David, we can accept the fact that he might have gone further back in order to fuck with Xavier / prevent david if he felt he wouldn't win otherwise - which does imply that the events we saw WOULD have happened in reality had he not interfered, but instead only took place on some level of an astral plane where he could fuck with her head and in extension, Xaviers - Which makes sense, to some degree, since there are a number of factors about the house that don't make sense like there being two fireplace rooms that are copies of each other, directly next to each other.

A bunch of things bugged me:
>the fucking doll seems too weird to be real
>they lived together and got married in a psychiatric yard
>on what basis were they released?
>I guess the door in the garden was the door made by David and Switch?
>at what point did Charles fight Farouk? Did he go back home immediately after? The chronology of events seems weird
The whole thing looked made up/mixed up
Also fuck David for hurting our waifu

I don't think they ever got released, theres a glass pattern in the hallway of the Cot room that appears in the Psych Ward, I don't think they ever actually LEFT the Psych ward thanks to The Angriest Boy doll / mind snare as such, the series of events that should have happened in the Prime timeline get played out in the Mind timeline rather than actually happening.

>they lived together and got married in a psychiatric yard
>on what basis were they released?
This is Charles Xavier we're talking about, he could have decided breaking his code was worth leaving with his love.
>I guess the door in the garden was the door made by David and Switch?
Yep
>at what point did Charles fight Farouk? Did he go back home immediately after? The chronology of events seems weird
Idk, yes and yes.

Yeah he's riding her too hard. It looks like he took Farouk/his own advice and sees people as tools (yes including Syd, name one reason he has to love her besides wanting to be loved)

>I don't think they ever got released
Did the fight with Farouk occur from the yard or did he send them back into nightmare land when the fight happened?

the fight with farouk would have happened if Xavier had ever left the ward with Gabriella, but in this new timeline (mind) he never does and instead played through a pantomine of it happening before returning home to find Gabriella comad and unable to notice David getting latched onto by Farouk, where as in the prime timeline those events happen in reality and not just a boobie-trapped Angriest-boy doll Timeline.

Or maybe i'm a retard.

Attached: e37.png (499x516, 308K)

Maybe you are, but the fun thing is this the type of show where your insane headcanon could be right.

>he never does and instead played
Because of David's intervention?

not directly, but because Farouk has shown access to time travel, we have to accept the fact he can fuck with the timeline but due to his interference by going back and telling Syd, he's setup a second timeline in which he prepared in a better manner for his takeover of David, by never losing to Xavier in the first place and instead wholesale entering David rather than as only an astral-plane entity.

Damn that's possible

he has some other personalities locked away in his hippy commune

>>the fucking doll seems too weird to be real
the whole show is weird, this is what hangs you up?
>>they lived together and got married in a psychiatric yard
maybe not married but became a couple, had David outside
>>on what basis were they released?
I think Xavier at least was just there voluntarily, he could leave anytime he wanted. And if they DID get married in there he could just ask them to release her. Psych wards were weird back in the day
>>I guess the door in the garden was the door made by David and Switch?
guess so, the time travel with david fucked with reality
>>at what point did Charles fight Farouk? Did he go back home immediately after? The chronology of events seems weird
Charles thought he fought Farouk but actually fought David

>Charles thought he fought Farouk but actually fought David
We saw Farouk lose the fight against Xavier in another episode. He dropped dead into his couscous

He's developing into Legion.

Attached: say-hello-to-david-haller-from-earth-616-in-the-marvel-comics-universe.jpg (1300x708, 65K)

At least he doesn't mention that he's the most powerful mutant and xavier's son every chance he gets like in the comics.

"Fake, real, you remember it. So it happened."
I don't think The Shadow King is real at all.
Or rather- David created him.

Attached: 1555045383009.png (662x310, 445K)

but didnt he say that hes fought his father and even his "coffin" driver said what about the professor

There are inconsistencies about Farouk that seem super weird to me.
"We believe he came to be some time in the late 18th century in Morocco." ~Clark
"I am over two-thousand years old"~Farouk
Sure there could be just bad intel- but Farouk's false faces don't make any damn sense to me.

The dog- sure that's a way to befriend a kid, but his mother's doll of a holocaust victim? And the book that he was read as a kid that he thought the character came from- that doesn't make sense either.
And why the fuck would he ever look like The Devil with Yellow Eyes? Does he like being a spooky fat monster? He might. I'd believe that.
I think Shadow King is Davids internal concept of evil. A bitey dog, a boy that would hurt his mother, an inhuman monster and finally some pretty cool dude in a nice suit.
All of season 1 is about Shadow King erasing and altering memories. And now David can straight up time travel.
It wouldn't be nonsense to find out that Farouk comes from David.
I doubt that I'm right.

Attached: Legions-The-Shadow-King.jpg (725x400, 215K)

More importantly there is an evil squid character

Attached: wanted posters.png (1366x768, 1.54M)

you make some fair points but i think the devil with the yellow eyes thing is jsut his l;ook from the comics
>david can straight up time travel
is that a spoiler because ive only seen the first episode of s3

The first episode has QT Chinese time-travel girl.
So it might be a spoiler that they time-travel- my bad.

not much of a spoiler i expected him to time travel kek, jsut a lapse of memory

>Legion thread finally makes 100 posts this season

do you think David fucked Lenny in his sisters body?

Constantly.
Part of her mind is always in the White Room being gangbanged by Davids.

took me a while to recognize her

There are ways you can shut your niece up, if you know what I mean

>is that a spoiler
He could do it in season 2 too, just needed the machine.

what the heck happened to Oliver and the Sex & the city lady?

Well that's because David raped her.
And she's a total hypocrite in that arena btw- she raped her mother's boyfriend and he ended up in jail for it.

What other reason is there to love?

In the astral plane while their bodies are stored somewhere. It's a good ending for them.

Personality

Meh

Right, I sorta remember now

So definitely no reason to love Syd.

Any Webm requests?

anything with smoke-pig Sæhrímnir?

Attached: legionpig.png (1363x767, 826K)

Why is Faroul so magnificent?

*Farouk

Precisely

David's mom being shown his trippy lounge

Old arabic dudes don't have a swag limiter.

>she raped her mother's boyfriend and he ended up in jail for it.
Syd's a horrible character but holy shit, stop calling that rape. Changing bodies with her mom and then having consensual sex isn't rape. Why does everyone want to redefine the word to mean everything except the actual forced sex it's meant to refer to?
>inb4 "but in this one random country they aren't living in deception is rape"

>David's mom being shown his trippy lounge

Attached: Legion mom vision.webm (640x360, 2.64M)

Did he consent to fucking the mother or Syd?
I'd argue that body swapping is a mind-rape power in and of itself.

"But my dreams are not as empty as my conscience seems to be."

Attached: minotaur.png (1362x648, 441K)

oh thanks user

You're a lovely person user. There are too many good scenes from this show for me to request them all, but could you do the montage where David first sees Syd and they fall in love?

Attached: 1533015950340.jpg (750x756, 62K)

Yup, Syd definitely raped her mom's boyfriend. And considering what happens to pedophiles in prison, she probably also got him killed. She's definitely a sociopath that doesn't care about the consequences of her actions on anyone else.

Anything creepy with Shadow King.
I wish the show still did creepy shit with him. I mean he's still terrifying, but it's just not the same as Amy's death or meeting World' Angriest Boy for the first time

>Did he consent to fucking the mother or Syd?
In real life people don't go "I consent to having sex with you in particular, holder of social security number 150-32-9468." The consenting parties start feeling each other up and the consent is implied by the lack of pulling away or saying no / stop.

>And considering what happens to pedophiles in prison, she probably also got him killed.
She definitely ruined his life. I doubt you have a greater than 50% chance of being murdered in prison just because your charge was statutory though.
>Yup, Syd definitely raped her mom's boyfriend.
No, that's not rape. Rape is forcing someone to have sex with you. Syd's a shit person but that's a retarded thing to call rape.

If you're blindfolded during a fuck- and the person you're fucking is swapped out without you knowing- then the replacement person raped you.

>14:30 in episode one of season3

Welcome

Attached: Legion smoke pig blue.webm (854x480, 2.71M)

I'd argue that David's memory reset is not the same thing as drugging and raping someone either. Even though they call it that.

Sorry can only do Season 3, dont have any episodes earlier than that on me to do it

>If you're blindfolded during a fuck- and the person you're fucking is swapped out without you knowing- then the replacement person raped you.
No, that's stupid. You're raped if someone forces you to have sex against your will. If you go along with it and then get upset after the fact because you did so while blindfolded with someone you weren't expecting that's just weird and kind of stupid, not rape.

its rape user

>I'd argue that David's memory reset is not the same thing as drugging and raping someone either. Even though they call it that.
I agree. And I think a lot of the people wanting to keep repeating "Syd is a rapist" are motivated by trying to get back at the "David is a rapist" claim by making the same stupid argument in a different context. Instead of trying to even the score you should just not call non-rape things rape in any of these cases.

independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/woman-tricked-blindfolded-friend-into-having-sex-with-her-by-pretending-to-be-a-man-10492472.html

Hmm, okay. How about David and Switch making their way through the corridor after the Division assault begins, or all the time travel lessons? You could do the last one when the season is done even.

It's convoluted retardation. Rape is really just holding someone down and doing sexual things to them that they don't want to do. All the other crap is people shamelessly trying to take the shock value of rape and use it to characterize other things they don't like as exceptionally bad.
That plus you have the autism of people wanting to pretend women are just like men and that anything men do women should count as being able to do too. So you get all these tortured hypotheticals of women deceiving men or women restraining men and making them eat boner pills so they can also be rapists. Really women are sockets and men are plugs, it's not a symmetrical relationship, and the strength gap between men and women is massive.

Yeah, exactly. It's convoluted retardation.

Maybe we should have a word for non-consensual sex that does not use physical violence or restraint.
Fine.
But the only word we got is rape so-
Syds a fuckin' rapist.

What about the Russian baker who raped the robbers who broke into her store by doing exactly that

If you mean the scene in Season 3 episode 1 where david telepathically tries to invoke nostalgia of their first meet then sure

But in that scene there is just a glimpse of syd climbing down the stairs and no montage really

Nah, I meant the original in season 1

Farouk has interesting taste in "women"

Attached: Farouks drag queen harem.png (1366x767, 393K)

Still rape though

Best SHow EVAAAAAR. I'm drunk sorry

A) I'm strongly suspicious the guy went along with it despite how the story's told and B) that's probably less common of an occurrence than winning the lottery while getting struck by lightning at the same time.
>Maybe we should have a word for non-consensual sex that does not use physical violence or restraint.
It was consensual. Go take the Buddhist pill, persistent identity isn't even real.

>I don't know why you guys keep spouting this shit.
because they don't read comics. Legion was a villain in the comics

Nah, I wouldn't call that rape any more than most people would call an 18 year old guy having consensual sex with a 16 year old girl in the wrong jurisdiction rape. You can find people who will call it that, but they're ironically just raping the definition of rape.

then he literally fucked himself

He's saying he doesn't know why people keep talking about David being the villain, so if anything he's the one who doesn't read comics, not the people he's complaining about.

>on what basis were they released?
I don't think they were released, Charles might have temporarily fucked with their heads which might explain why everyone just started randomly applauding and saluting them as they left.

yeah, my bad I misquote

Also I cant just cut up small bits from different episodes and create a webm cause it would take too much time and also due to Yea Forums restrictions of filesize

Happy to take any webm requests for any small standolone clip in season 3

it's kinda sad that she will never have again as great role as in this show. it's a shame that she wasn't introduced in comics for extra synergy

Farook is like lurkers in /gif/
After 2000 years only the far out things get you excited

It could be he's 2,000 years old but his infamy and reputation only developed in the 18th century.

Just cause you don't think its rape doesn't mean society or law doesn't

Okay, the scene in episode 1 where Farouk appears then gets tackled into a room before blasting out. Or when Switch goes into the fake laundromat and the aisles close around her when she moves.

That's for the best given the state of X-Men comics

Maybe. But still, they never do a synergy when you need it. I'm still angry about the lack of busty Strucker teenager

How did Amy die?

>Or maybe just recast ones for the show just like they did for Chuck in this ep.
Latter

She's Lenny

I think all his various memory changes in David is supposed to be an abstraction, since he can't just delete memories without ruining the development of his powers, but he can blur them in another memory, hence the dog while Angry Boy acts as a guard dog to scare david away from interacting with it for too long and realising somethings wrong where as Yellow devil is an active engagement from Farouk to keep him terrified and on edge along with the various other mental issues he helped create / cultivate

Wasn't Lenny technically only a mind copy David made? Did David kill his sister??

its not so crazy, older cultures had different beauty standards than us - Persians I think, used to love a thicc bitch with unibrows and handsome faces rather than our stereotypical ideal of a woman.

Go back and watch season 2.

You sound exactly like that type of person who would find Legion anything other than pretentious dreck. If someone has sex with you under false pretenses like physical identity, then there is no consent involved dumbass.

Are the actors for Charles and Gabrielle going to be in any other episodes?

>pretentious dreck
Just because the presentation is flashy doesn't make the show pretentious, its not trying to preach a message at you.

Idk I don't really check news sites for anything.

i was going to check this series out, does it have anything to do with the movie by the same name or should i just start at S1?

start at S1. the movies a totally different thing.

It's Noah Hawley sucking his own dick. It's the very definition of pretentious. Sorry you fell for it.

Ok I'll just keep liking it and you do you

So I'm thinking David read his mother's mind in the crib. And seeing the holocaust in person traumatized him so badly that he went nuts.
The doll is wearing striped pajamas like he's in a concentration camp

no one cares about foxmen

Ok, just don't claim that it's a good show.

name a better capeshow
Is Doom Patrol better? I hope it's better

Rare to see a Legion thread up this long.

Nigger, do you think is adapted from the movies>

>Just cause you don't think its rape doesn't mean society or law doesn't
Show me the specific law that says a woman is committing "rape" if someone has sex with her while mistakenly believing she was someone else.

It's fun and weird.

One of the characters is really irritating at first, but she becomes a lot more tolerable as the series goes on and once you learn more of her backstory.

Alan Tudyk is the main villain for the season and he seems like he's having a lot of fun being evil.

There aren't any good live action ones. The difference is that most of them know they're bad.

Did Xavier try to track down Farouk because he thought he's the one who was creeping around his house?

he probably detected something was up in his house after he defeated him, david being a spooky ghost through time didn't help
what if it was actually david's fault that farouk managed to get into his mind?

She existed and Syd killed her when she accidentally switched bodies with David and his powers went crazy. Farouk just used her as a mask and kept her in his pocket then used a device he stole from Division 3 and used it on David's sister to morph it to give Lenny a new body.

I like Doom Patrol a lot but I think Legion edges it out in terms of style.

I gotta say Syd's one of the least likeable characters on TV. Reminds me of vapid, woke bimbos that don't know what they're talking about, but parrot out whatever's the PC flavor of the day. The entire igloo episode was of her telling David to let go and unleash hell, and then she gives him shit for it. She rapes an innocent man and probably gets him blacked into perpetuity in prison. She is willing to kill the supposed love of her life for pre-crime. She has a tattoo of "Me-First." What a dumb, inconsiderate bitch.

Fuck you double nigger, I gave you multiple instances where multiple different cultures consider sex through fraud rape and you said you didn't give a shit and now you want me to quote even more?
Bitch is a rapist, deal with it.

you talking about the chalk board fight? That was just something told to him. May not have been the real story.
you are thinking too literally about this show, some of the things are interpretations of what David sees, like the monster or the doll.

Farouk know they appreciate good music more than most women

No, we saw Farouk react to Xavier walking up to him and then passed out. I think it was in S2.

what if Farouk sensed Xavier looking for him, used that to backtrack and find david, then set up a false psychic projection for Charles to "fight and banish" to the astral plane? All the while Farouk was in the house with David an his mother.

You guys are way overthinking this.

>There are inconsistencies about Farouk that seem super weird to me.
>"We believe he came to be some time in the late 18th century in Morocco." ~Clark
>"I am over two-thousand years old"~Farouk
That's not an inconsistency. He qualified it with "we believe," as in they had no solid proof and were just speculating.
That said there's been (at least) two (that I remember) different continuity takes on Shadow King. One is that he IS Farouk, the other is that he predates Farouk and was always an astral being who merely took over a guy named Farouk's body.
So it could be they're hinting at that sort of deal, with Division 3 thinking Shadow King is Farouk and using the information on Farouk's emergence timeframe when speculating about Shadow King and Shadow King revealing some reason to suspect he's this less human / more demonic force who just happened to end up inhabiting and living as Farouk as his most recent longterm stretch of walking the Earth in one host.
>And why the fuck would he ever look like The Devil with Yellow Eyes? Does he like being a spooky fat monster?
First part kind of answers this part. Devil with the Yellow Eyes might be his real astral form predating his time living as Farouk. Farouk's a more charming and laid back form he can assume when he's more interested in manipulating people passively, and Devil with the Yellow Eyes is more like his all cards on the table what his soul looks like as a morbidly obese psychic parasite who fucks people up and gets fat off their resulting negative energy.

Been watching this on Hulu, lately, up to episode six of season one. Couple questions:

1. Does this get better? I am getting kind of bored.
2.When does this take place? Is it supposed to be the 1970's, or is it like BTAS where it's the modern day but nobody ever got over a certain decade?

>1. Does this get better? I am getting kind of bored.
probably not for you
>2.When does this take place? Is it supposed to be the 1970's, or is it like BTAS where it's the modern day but nobody ever got over a certain decade?
it doesn't have a time, it's an amalgam of times and styles

>Does this get better?
Yes.
>When does this take place?
Probably 70s, but it's not a focus of the show. Most recent episode made it clear David's dad (Professor X) was a young adult during WWII.

if you're binging S1 and not getting into it, I suggest you maybe go read some stuff about it to get your bearings since you might have missed a few things.

What do you watch? Because Legion is not slow moving in season 1 at all
