When did Adventure Time stop being fun for you?
For me it was season 5, but there some episodes afterwards that were okay.

Never seen it, stopped mid season 4, what's so bad about this episode that it gets referenced by Yea Forums so much?

It stayed fun. but there were stretches where it felt like a lot less fun than I signed up for. like the flame princess early eps.

Remember all those times in early season where they kept forshadowing Finn losing his arm and getting a cool robot one?

He lost his arm, and it grew back.

And yes, they did eventually make him lose it permanently and get a (not as cool) robot one. But that was one of many instances where our faith in the show began to falter.

Because it was one of the first episodes where the writing was only transparently about finn as a character. Rather, finn was just used as a vehicle to reflect on one of the writer's own hangups.

It never topped "Hall of Egress" one bit

This. It's unbelievable that everyone considers this finale a masterpiece and ignores every problem with it.

It was always fun
but at season 5 it became impossible to enjoy, because anytime we tried to have a thread, a bunch of shitters would mosey in and make every single post about them. Just couldn't stand that we still enjoyed something with a few minor flaws.

I liked the way it came back. I did not see that coming at all.
It was about finn getting a bumch of kisses. dude. cmon.

I guess it wasn't as cool as Guts Finn's arm but that thing was ridiculously huge and would've been pretty silly to have on regular Finn's design.

I thought the arm was pretty cool but it really should've been used more.

It was a great show to just leave on the tv while doing something else. Then they cucked it.

It's more along the line that Guts Finn wasn't even ever acknolwedged anymore and Finn the Warrior Adventurer kinda fell by the wayside.

Around late season 3, early season 4-ish.

Essentially when the showrunners and boarders stopped prioritizing fun at all.

Around Stakes, by all means it should have been fun for me, I like Marceline, I found the idea of the vampires interesting, But something about the writing make it pleasant, and that style kept appearing in the show afterward

Middle of season 5, I think? The episode that really turned me off was

After Finn's arm grew back. Show was still fun at times but it felt like they ran out of plot and had no idea what to do so we got botched attempts like the comet arc

to me it seems like the show got kind of sacrificed as a training ground for animators. bunch of different storyboarders and writers coming and going, having their first experience on adventure time and then moving off to other shows.
