The biggest problem with superheroes is the fact their ideals are poorly conceived and ultimately in no way explored in a meaningful coherent way that isn't absurdly biased towards a middle of the road "meh".
I get it, Kamala is a goody goody at heart, but how does that goody goody nature clash with the teachings of Islam?
Same applies to Christian characters.
The superhero genre is largely worthless when it comes to exploring anything more complex than some dumbass trying to figure out how to balance punching people while wearing a costume and their social life.
Her being a Muslim is ultimately as meaningful as whatever Peter Parker's favorite color is.
