ITT: "Villains" who were right

>was happily adopted by the royals until they had a miracle newborn
>was ignored by her parents afterwards and grew up lonely
>even the dying Emperor, her adopted dad, only referred to here as a "trusted adviser" rather than a daughter
>has more experience in government than her sweet, but clueless, younger adopted sister
>Emperor gives her the throne anyways because "lol bloodline"
>she's still somehow the bad guy

The only mistake she made was trusting a demon. Also, they had to throw a scene of her burning down a village just to make sure we don't sympathize with her. Literally Kuvira 2.0

Im more surprised someone sat down and watched the show.

I folded and used my free trial of Prime. It's alright. Obviously nowhere as good as the first two movies, but much better than LoA and slightly better than the third movie. They also undid a lot of the chi bullshit the third movie introduced and drew a lot on Chinese mythology than I expected. But the way they treated the villain of the season was tone-deaf and reminded a bit of Kuvira, only not as annoying.

>fuck bloodlines and legitimacy and shit

this is how the Roman empire collapsed

>but much better than LoA and slightly better than the third movie
Ok now I gotta watch it.

what show?

Rome was literally built on Non bloodline inheritence via adoption you fucking cretin.

Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny

You mean after like hundreds of years? because they had already been doing that for a long as fuck time.

>Kuvira

Please don't tell me she was also a stab at making communism cool as well.

>Juleo-Claudian bloodline croaks
>year of the four emperors
>Flavian bloodlina croaks
>year of the five emperors
>5 good emperors then the fucking Severans
>Throne gets auctioned by Praetorians
>O MY LEGIONS claimants keep getting worse and worse by the year because everyone thinks they'll be a "good" emperor

Repeat until 476AD and beyond, if legitimacy isn't based on something more concrete than "my political base that i pay copious amount of bribe money to think i'm the best for the job" you're doomed to endless war. And don't even get me fucking started on that Chinese "Mandate of Heaven" horseshit.

You can't half ass monarchies and just appoint people by the end because there's a 100% chance that someone else will think they'll do a better job, while it's very hard to argue with someone being someone's child.

The actual bloodline inheritance lasted for a few decades, which where theheight of the EMpire.

Things started to go to shit when every dude with a few legions under his command started declaring himself emperor and marching on Rome.
Also, plagues, costly wars with Parthia, big landowners displacing free farmers and then going on to not pay taxes....

>big landowners displacing free farmers and then going on to not pay taxes....
Huh, sounds like current day corporations

What is this?

Welcome to the new feudal era, are you ready to swear loyalty to Lord Bezos the first?

No. More like she’s the adopted daughter that gets shit on hard her whole life and is unintentionally sympathetic, so they have her kill a whole village and reveal she killed the Emperor at the last minute to make her less sympathetic.

Sounds like the peacock royal in 2, except that last bit.

Are the Furious Five in this season?

Of course not

At least she was forgiven in the end

No, but Po talks about Tigress for a bit. Apparently, he hasn’t seen her for a while and misses her.

That’s true. Xiao is a lot more understanding of her and shows her kindness, even as Shi Long is jailed. Far more than Suyin and her shitty family ever did.
