Light eyes and pale skin tone, almost s translucent, cuz the floor of the sea is dark. For the hair, I have no preference. The tail, darker on the back, brown-greyish colour with a darker stripes, or greenish, with olivaceous, brown or yellow zones (for defensive mimicry) paler on the flanks and yellowish on the front maybe with big white spots.

The original character design had her look a certain way for a reason. Ariel is the daughter of a Greek god. In Greek mythology, many of the gods and descendants of the gods are said to have have blue eyes and red hair. Hercules also had blue eyes and red hair.
