What are some essential Nightcrawler readings?
What are some essential Nightcrawler readings?
bumping for interest
There are none. Nightcrawler is the king of supporting characters.
Claremont era UXM 94-150
Excalibur 1-50
Nightcrawler minis 1 and 2 by Claremont
Xmen Second Coming
Amazing Xmen by Yost
Listen, if you dont know, don't post.
Thanks!
Look, he ain't wrong, assuming he interpreted the question as asking for essential Nightcrawler arcs. I mean, when someone asks me which Nightcrawler moment I remember most, it would be that panel in God Loves, Man Kills where he was drawn without a tail.
I've read Claremont's entire run and there isn't a single point where a Nightcrawler dominates a storyline like Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, JEAN or Kitty. And that's not a bad thing. Writers have to actively try to fuck up Nightcrawler and they usually do by giving him too much focus. The most reviled Nightcrawler moments are shit like the rapture wafers and his demon daddy. The most beloved Nightcrawler moments are him being the cool guy with other cool people.
based and blue(elf)pilled

You know it's a problem when you go on a kurt thread and you have every image already saved
I'll play devil's advocate and say that, while Austen's story premises were extremely stupid and absurd, Kurt himself wasn't written that badly in them. And at the very least he managed to write him out of the priesthood (albeit in a cop-out "it was all mind control" way).
Also Casey was really the one who initially put Kurt in the position of team leader and shifted the focus more heavily on him, and his run was decent for the most part.
Don’t lewd the elf
