Azula needs a queen probably ty lee

Azula's queen is Zuko.
Jaxon Reed
Azula's queen is Sokka and they enter a Mork and Mindy type of relationship forever and ever.

For me, Azula x Ty Lee is one of those "it's fun for AUs" type ships. In terms of ATLA canon, if they were together it would 100% be an abusive relationship, which could still be interesting from a story perspective but isn't too romantic. Put them in an AU where Azula is less volatile and violent though and I love the ship.

this ruins the entire story arc Azula goes through
she manipulates and controls her "friends" out of fear. They have no loyalty towards her. It's part of why she does insane by herself during the season finale
adding some kind of romance between her and Ty Lee ruins everything

Nice "only pure ships can be romantic" tumblr meme. They're plenty romantic if you imagine them meeting again when Ty Lee is more confident and able to assert herself as a person. She could level Azula out, I don't think her admiration was ever forced. They have a strong bond from chilhood, and could probably find something like that innocent bond again.
That is if Ty Lee at all had the desire to help Azula, which you think she would at least a little.

I'm not generally a fan of the whole 'abuse victim helping to fix their abuser' cliche, for a variety of reasons, but I can kind of see that being interesting

Why does no one ever use Yue?
William Brooks
Because she turned into the moon? I mean I guess future Avatars can interact with her but that's about it.

You realize this is fan fiction right?

Because she was only in like 3 episodes and the most memorable thing she did in them was die

Oh yes, I like this.

Azula keeping Ty and Mai as her playthings is my headcanon.
Camden James
But isn't she a pshychopath? She needs validation of course but shouldn't be attached that much to Ty and Mai.

>if they were together it would 100% be an abusive relationship
I imagine if you were to totally ignore the comics, this would be true, but before that there was some wiggle room for things to happen.
Much like everything post comet, every single character was treated like the shit you scrape off your boot, so I don't know. I feel like they set her up to break, but never recover, and then they turned an already unstable character into stone-cold crazy. The only reason I like Tyzula is because I don't like the idea that an emotionally abused character just got left to rot in a prison cell forever... That and I have a thing for yuri.
